Your small-group (8 people or less) adventure begins with pickup in Tórshavn. After exploring the jellyfish roundabout under the seabed in the Eysturoy Tunnel, you will experience small hamlets that you have most likely never heard of. From settlements such as Morkranes, Kolbeinagjógv, and Selatrað.

Travel through Strendur and Skála, two villages shaped by history and modern development. In Skála, visit a hidden natural waterfall near a scenic outdoor swimming pool and learn about the area’s significance during World War II. The village is also home to the Faroe Islands’ largest shipyard and dry-dock.

In Strendur, the largest village on the western shore of the 14 km-long Skálafjørður Fjord, there are more untold stories to be unfolded. Lake Toftavatn sits in peaceful surroundings. A walking path winds around the lake, up and down through the largest heathland on the islands. On a summer day, the heath resounds with the calls of birds as the sun sparkles on the freshwater lake.
