Welcome to Faroe Islands

Loved this boat trip on 24th June. Not difficult to find the departure point with cafe and toilets nearby. Plenty of free parking.
Very knowledgeable guide who answered lots of questions. The sea arch was amazing up close and we got to see lots of sea birds. Really enjoyed all the puffins. Couldn't get to Múlafossur but got close to the other waterfall Skardsafossur. Good booking communication after initially not receiving confirmation email. Would recommend this trip.

Having joined the 5-days tour we had a fantastic trip around the Faroe Islands. We just couldn't stop looking at nature through the big windows of the minibus. Starting the first day with a shorter hike was a very good idea. Giving us a tremendous start. Johan inspired us to do the same by ourselves on one of the shorter days and gave us an extra ride to make it possible. Walking from Kirkjubour over the hills to Torshavn gave a more direct feeling of living in the Faroe Islands, not to speak of the lovely views of the sea and land. The boat trip from Vestmanna was a wonderful experience that we value highly. Seeing the harsh landscape, the birds nesting and understanding the hardship people have lived under in earlier times. The long trip by boat to the Southern island was well worth the time spent. Showing us another landscape and breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains. Johan was always willing to answer questions and take notice of special wishes (like knitting products). It was very nice to be picked up and delivered at our B&B. Of the lunches eaten, we especially appreciated the homemade soup and carrot cake! Best of luck in the future wishes Cornelia och Karin from Sweden, travelling in June 2026

Geweldige tour met deze touroperator. Alles van te voren goed en duidelijk via de email ontvangen en het klopte allemaal.
Boottocht is zeer aan te raden want je hebt echt een heel andere beleving vanaf het water dan als je op het land bent.
Tijdens de boottocht werd er ook waar nodig informatie verstrekt door de kapitein.
Al met al een aanbeveling waard.

This was an amazing tour in every way. Our tour guide/driver Ove was funny, informative and very accommodating, doing everything he could to make the day a memorable experience for our group of 6. The weather was overcast, but it did not rain until we were close to the end and coming back. Amazing and very worthwhile. We loved the Faroe Islands!

The tour was a really great experience where you get the chance to visit many gorgeous places across Faroe islands, which might not be in your to-go list before. Jens is a really nice and funny guide and gave us a lot of introduction along the way.
It's highly recommend.

Jens is a human encyclopedia. The best city tour ever! He had an answer to every question and we had very stimulating discussions. Simply top-notch.

OK, you can't really "see it all" in only one day, but you get to see a ton! Everyone says you need a car to explore the islands and while I see how it is probably easiest to have your own car, those who don't have one can gain a lot from this one day excursion. For those who do have a car, book this early on in your trip so you can figure out where else you want to go and where you might want to return on your own. The tour guide, whose family has lived in the Faroe Islands going back many generations, was incredibly knowledgeable and is a wonderful resource. Highly recommended!

The trip to Mykines was cancelled twice. Once because of swell waves and another one because of the weather. And we could not be happier about it. We were offered two alternatives and we took a visit to the islet of Tindhólmur, and we could not be happier.

The personnel (and I am very sorry but I cannot remember the name of our guide) was very helpful, attentive, informative, and and assertive to get us to see so much wildlife (lots of puffins are nesting in that islet, and so many other birds there and other islets around Tindhólmur) without disturbing them at this delicate point.

The wind and the rain was hitting us hard, and the way back was not a piece of cake (but at least wasn't the 30 minutes it takes to come back from Mykines, as they told us) and I still would do it again all together. Thank you so much for helping us creating so many memories!

Although seeing everything is impossible no matter the country, we managed to explore Faroe Islands in a way that I completely did not expect. I booked this trip for Saksun only yet she brought us to most spectacular viewpoint of my entire six days stay, allowed us to behold unique cloud formations, kept us entertained with her energeting demeanor and engaging storytelling. Good driving, approachibility - I could ask any questions, socialize among others. Then she brought us to the restaurant which price-wise was not as insane as restaurants in Thorshavn - moreover it was spacious, amazing soup, salmon and dessert. Meeting the owner was also cool.

I had an amazing experience on my tour of the Faroe Islands, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Jens Peturs.
He was perfectly punctual at pickup and incredibly kind and engaging throughout the entire 8-hour tour. His explanations were informative yet never overwhelming—quite the opposite, actually. He shared so many interesting details that kept the tour dynamic and enjoyable from start to finish.
It was clear how much he loves his country, and his deep knowledge of the islands really enriched the experience. We were also a very small group (just three guests), which made everything feel more personal and allowed for great interaction and conversation with Jens.
I’m truly grateful to him for such a beautiful and memorable experience exploring the Faroe Islands. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

We had a lovely day exploring the Faroe Islands! Elsa was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable of the Islands and their history. The trip takes in many miles but there were frequent stops where we could get out, stretch our legs and admire the scenery. We also stopped at a really nice restaurant for lunch which was in a lovely spot. Following the trip Elsa sent out a video of the route with photos from the day which was very interesting and a great souvenir of the trip.

Do it if you have the chance.

As always with the weather in the Faroes (the one you can see and feel, and how the sea works) you have to adapt and take what you can. Luckily enough, Faroe is a country where everywhere is worth visiting. We were lucky enough to see all those cliffs full of life with the nesting birds (lots of guillemot, fulmars and many others), the sheep and lambs choosing patches of grass in impossible locations.

I expected more. I saw the same hills: actually the same as from my car, difference just to see them from water. It was 2 short 3 minutes stops near cliffs. I was sitting outside the boat, captain’s microphone was so poor, that i could not understand any word what he wanted to say during his 30 seconds explanation . I may suggest: avoid this attraction and spend time visiting by car other locations
