We originally booked the Mykines tour, but due to high winds we were rebooked to Tindholmur. It was a great experience overall, with plenty of time to roam around the island and take very close pictures of puffins.

The only issue was that the boats were delayed by 30 minutes and then only one boat came (for three boats worth of people) which got us back to the dock over an hour late. Not the biggest problem though, we still really enjoyed the voyage.

Great fun, thoroughly enjoyable and helped by good weather during the boat trip. Nice small boat - we were a party of 3 in a boat with just 5. The ride was fun, the arch, cliffs and puffins, beach and waterfall and wider scenery were great to see. Guide was great and so was the guy onshore organising everything. Pleased we picked this specific tour.

Fantastic tour and definitely one of the highlights of my trip to the Faroe Islands! The itinerary was very well organized and covered many of the islands’ most beautiful and iconic places in one day. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and there were plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. A great choice if you want to see as much of the Faroe Islands as possible in a limited amount of time. Highly recommended!

It’s definitely worth going on a boat trip with the team from ‘Guide to Faroe Islands’. We really appreciated the easy communication and the information about the area provided during the trip. You get fantastic views and can spot lots of puffins – I’d definitely recommend the trip.

We had a great tour despite the heavy rain and fog. Our guide, Hjalte, was very patient with our slow pace on the trail and did an amazing job of finding clear weather on the islands so we could enjoy the beauty of the Faroe Islands. We were rewarded with the most spectacular rainbow. I highly recommend this tour and company!

Amazing views from the boat! Although the weather wasn't the best, it was still worth it. I loved that this tour is accessible to people with mobility issues. Also, the check-in and boarding process were easy and quick.

Wow! What a great tour of the beautiful islands. Elsa and her brother gave a truly exceptional and personal narrative of their country This tour is a great way to gain perspective of the islands if your time is limited or serves as an introduction if you are staying on.

I recently returned home after a fantastic 7 Days exploring the Faroe Islands. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way! From the time I picked up the rental car at the airport, I knew this was going to be a memorable getaway! Just the drive from the airport to my hotel in Torshvan I got a real sense of the dramatic beauty of the islands, and of course my first Sea Tunnel experience! Each day was so different, the weather was ever changing,, the small villages charming, the dramatic sea cliffs unbelievable , and the pastoral grasslands serene! It was so nice to have an itinerary prepared by Guide to the Faroes that gave us a daily plan, so we could just get in the car and go! The roads and sea & mountain tunnels made it so easy to get to any point on the major islands in the archipelago! There was also a lot of spontaneity on our part, changing plans and directions depending on our interests, which was nice to have complete flexibility, but also have the itinerary to reference as needed! I shared this experience with my son, which made it extra special! I've traveled all over the world, and I am glad I finally found this place, one of my favorite destinations now! Thank You Hogni, and the Guide to Faroes Team!

The tour itself as well as our guide Thomas were wonderful. We did a very nice hike through the island, saw tons of puffins from up close, and Thomas would see to it that everyone in the group was taken care of. A total must-do on the Faroes.

This was an amazing experience as echoed by the other comments (albeit helped along by uncharacteristically sunny weather!), and Michael was an excellent guide when introducing me to the route and context, even throwing in a free traditional snack! Just to clear some confusion for anyone else booking this, you don't also need to pay the 200 DKK trail fee covering the equivalent hike to the waterfall; instead you get sent to a slightly separate bit of land that doesn't include the hike directly up Trælanípa, but still includes awesome views of the waterfall and surrounding sea cliffs. If you're not desperate to specifically hike up Trælanípa itself, for only 200 DKK more than doing the hike along with everyone else, you can have the lake practically to yourself! A wonderful experience which I'd highly recommend.
