Welcome to Faroe Islands

Organized well. It was apparent safety came first to our guides. They were helpful, offering a hand wherever they could. Needless to say, it was great fun with spectacular views!

We really feel like we got to **see and experience the Faroe Islands beyond just the highlights**. We were lucky with relatively good weather, which made it even easier to appreciate the breathtaking landscapes and dramatic nature.

Jóhan was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly proud to share his home with visitors. He was always punctual, attentive, and genuinely made sure everyone was having a great time each day. **So glad we signed up for the tour—it gave us a much deeper appreciation for these beautiful islands.**

My son and I had a very enjoyable time bouldering in and around Torshavn. Hugin - our guide - took our levels and preferences into account when planning the session, provided a couple of crashpads and was happy to share information about the islands and other climbing opportunities. Our only regret was that the session was too brief!

This was our favourite activity in the Faroe Islands! Michael gave wonderful directions- and we paid the extra to go take the extra pic & have the kayaks for an extra hour… both were well worth it! Highly, highly recommended!!

This was a great way to see the Faroe Islands. We had time to explore the sites and even had lunch at a waterfall. Anita knows the island and how to get around. It was a great experience, especially since Anita knows so much about the island because she grew up there.

This was an amazing trip. Hogni made excellent suggestions for us, and we really enjoyed the flexibility of doing what we wanted while having great suggestions. Some days we did exactly what was suggested; other days we did completely different things, and it was all wonderful. We also found the actual "Guide to Faroe Islands" Guide, which we picked up at our hotel, offered us many other excellent suggestions. Hogni was also super helpful in responding to our questions and concerns including about getting back to Iceland in case the weather was problematic, and really super helpful in assisting us once we decided we would also get married in Faroe, putting us in touch with local folks to help us out. We would go back to Faroe in a second - it's a small place, but there is so much to see and do. Having a knowledgeable local guide put our trip together made all the difference and you cannot go wrong with Hogni!

The day felt adventurous and all the stops were perfect. Lunch at the restaurant was a special treat. The fish soup and “extra” bread were delicious!

You were both kind and caring. You were sincere and so polite to all your guests. It is obvious how much you love the Faroe Islands.

Jens was a terrific guide! He provided so much information about Faroese culture and history and was happy to answer my many questions. This tour was invaluable and wish that I had done it my first day in the Faroe Islands. I highly recommend Jens!

A truly 5-star experience with our tour guide Johan who went above and beyond to make the 3 tours I was with him truly a great experience. Johan would take our small group to places before any of the other tourists would arrive so that we had the scenic location & landscapes to ourselves. As we would leave the place, we would see other tourists arrive in drones in their vehicles - which Johan knew would happen.
I plan to visit the Faroe Islands again and would definitely do the tours again with "Guide To Faroe Islands".

Es war absolut toll! Trotz mässig gutem Wetter (was bekanntlich Glückssache ist) hat die 4h Schiffahrt unglaublich viel Spass gemacht und war eines der Highlights der Ferien auf den Färöern. Dies auch, dank der 2 Mann Crew, welche nichts desto trotz die Segel hievte um uns wenigstens vorübergehend das Gefühl von Segeln zu vermitteln und uns einiges vom Leben auf den Färöern und dem Fischfang erzählten.

Truly passionate about their job, our guides (Elsa Maria and his brother) led us in exploring amazing landscapes. They shared plenty of information about places visited considering also some moments for an informal break with the group! We took wonderful pictures and enjoyed also a great lunch at Fiskastykkið! Highly recommended!

Great Tour! Our guide was totally dedicated to us and made us slowly explore these wonderful territories sharing both cultural information and true life stories. We were very happy about the time spent with her! Highly recommended!
