This was a boat tour out of Vestmanna to see the sea caves and birds. We were picked up in Tórshavn since we didnt have a car.
We drove through some of the caves and along the rocky cliffs. If you sit up front, the views are better, but there is no seating, so you stand the whole time. Recommend wearing rain gear.
One rock formation looked like an elephants face and trunk. Saw lots of different burd species including puffins.
We were surprised we had lunch with local family in Vestmanna. They do this histing on Sunday tours apparently.
They prepared fish soup and bread, cheese, lamb on bread and warm rhubarb dessert. It was all very good. Very interesting conversation and it was great to learn about the local life.
We then stopped in the villages of Kvivik and Leynar (white sand beach).
At the end of the tour, our guide, Helle, gave us an art/music reference sheet that was interesting to read.
Overall, a really great day!

We had a total of 4 people on our tour which was a nice size. The guide set the pace. 2 people had mountain bikes and 2 had ebikes. It was a leisurely pace for the most part and the ebike made it easy.
Our weather was not the greatest though. Driving rain, windy/gusty etc. But we kept on and the second half was better conditions.
There is a fair amount of traffic and the shoulders were very narrow with gravel on them. But cars gave us room but a little unnerving.
Our guide was great. Due to the wind, those in the middle and back could not hear what he was saying.
Overall a great tour. Better weather would have been nice but dress for it and you should be good. Hat, gloves, rain pants, rain jacket are needed if the weather is windy or rainy.

The guide was great on our trip. She got us and our kayaks set up before taking off. We both had kayaked before, so not sure if more instruction is given to those that havent.
The tour started out pretty calm initially, but the wind picked up and it was difficult to paddle when the wind was blowing on the side if the kayak. The guide said she's never had the weather turn so quickly while on a tour. She had an alternative plan if we couldnt make it back to the starting point, but we made it ok.
A drysuit is provided. You can just wear normal clothes under it. Long sleeve baselayer or light fleece is sufficient.
We saw a waterfall base up close, went under some bridges. She wanted to cross over to the other side, but it was too windy to attempt that.
The map location sent after booking helped a lot too. The guide answered some of my more specific questions via email promptly.
Overall, a great tour!

This was a great tour to get close to the Draganir Sea Arch for good photos. Most other tours are a drive by (and through the arch) in a rocking boat, which is not great for photos. On this tour, they drive you through Dranganir, along the cliffs but then land on shore where you spend about an hour enjoying the closeup view and taking photos. There are not many people at that location at any one time, so you dont have to deal with people in your photos much.
A couple things to note:
* The boat lands on a rocky shore where you have to walk across larger rocks which could be wet. Hiking poles might be helpful to some with balance issues or just extra stability over rocky terrain.
* After the rocks, it is a steep, uphill climb on undefining paths and mostly grass which could be wet and slippery. Again, hiking poles might provide help for some getting and down the hill.
The boat ride is just 10 minutes but could get chilly of not dressed for it.
Overall, a great tour if you want to see Draganir up close and get good photos from land.

Incredible evening boat trip to Drangarnir Sea Arch. The guides were excellent and flexible with timings, and took us through the arch before landing ashore. We then had the evening to capture an amazing sunset with uninterrupted views of the arch and out to see. An unforgettable experience.

We had an incredible day and I highly recommend this tour!

The company is run by two siblings, and we were lucky enough to spend the day with the brother, who was our guide. He was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of positive energy. He also did a fantastic job of tailoring the experience to the group’s interests, which made the day feel even more special.

It’s an amazing way to see almost everything in just one day, without ever feeling rushed. The pace was relaxed and enjoyable, and the small group size made a huge difference, creating a much more personal and comfortable experience.

Congratulations to both of you for providing such a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this tour!

This tour was the highlight of our trip! The island is breathtaking and the puffins are so cute, you could spend the whole day observing them. You get very close to them, so the pictures turned out amazing. Katrin is a wonderful guide and you get to come inside her family home on the island and learn about the history of it. The fish soup was also really really good! All in all just a really good experience

Excellent tour. Best way to see stunning scenery when you are here for a short break or at the start of a holiday and you are getting a feel of the islands and where to go.

We had a wonderful time with Melissa (and Minnie). Having the private excursion made all the difference in us getting back in time. We saw so much in such a short time that it was worth it. Having someone local was a joy. She was able to answer all our questions about the islands. We would highly recommend this tour and Melissa.

The captain was very detailed in his explanations and had a great sense of humor. We visited every spot mentioned in the itinerary, and he even paused at the best photo spots for us. Absolutely worth joining this tour!
