Welcome to Faroe Islands

We really had a fun time with the farm tour and home visit. David, a family friend, was able to answer all our questions along with input from the farmer. We met their two sons bringing in the grass. We felt warmly welcomed into their home and were served a filling soup and home made bread. As stated… it was a communion with the past and present, a feast that transcends time.

It was a very interesting and impressive tour of the cliffs. The crew were brilliant and the captain had plenty of stories to tell. I’d really recommend it if you’re interested in the Faroe Islands and nature.

I travelled solo and joined 3 day tours. I really enjoyed them, especially with our guide Jens Petur. He shared lots of interesting stories and took us to some amazing hidden gems. I absolutely loved the Faroe Islands and would definitely recommend these tours! Hope to come back again someday!

I just returned from my vacation on the Faroes and I just loved every minute of it. The package is put together very well, never feeling rushed and the selection of destinations offers the chance to visit most of the major islands. Some of us opted to take some additional trips after some of the trips (Kalsoy and Nólsoy).
Our guide encouraged us to go to Kalsoy after the end of the northern islands tour and it proved to be one of my personal highlights of my trip (we took a ferry at 14:50 from Klaksvík to Kalsoy and from there a bus to Trøllanes from where we embarked on a hike to the Kallur lighthouse). The landscape was truly breathtaking. We had to take the bus back to Tórshavn from Klaksvík and were back at around 21:00. For us (I'm not a very experiences hiker) it was perfectly doable without having to hurry. The hike was a bit steep, but we found it to be very doable). Just ask the guides about it, if you're interested.
We were mostly lucky with the weather (sometimes sunny, sometimes cloudy, some rain, but nothing too bad when being dressed for it) apart from two days where dense fog at times robbed us of the amazing views we otherwise would have had.
All tours were wonderful, but my personal highlight of the package was our trip to Mykines. Not only was it amazing to get that close to the puffins, but the ferry trip took us right past the Tindhólmur islet and Drangarnir sea stack, and the island of Mykines was beautiful both the landscape and its charming little village.
Our main guide was Jóhan, on some tours his sister, dad, and friend Edward were our guides. They were all amazing, very nice and patient and responded to all of our questions. Jóhan also created a Whatsapp group for us, which was not only useful to exchange practical information, but also allowed us to meet up after the tours (the group I was with was wonderful, so I really appreciated that we could communicate via the Whatsapp group).
Truly an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend the package to anyone interested in visiting the Faroe Islands.

Tour was well planned and organised. When our Ferry was cancelled due to bad weather it was promply rebooked and our planning was also reorganised .
Be prepared for very variable weather so pack accordingly
The hotel we stayed Hilton Garden Inn was very convenient to move across the Island and have great breakfast and facilities.

This was so epic, one of those things you go "wow I can't believe I'm doing this". Memories you'll cherish for the rest of your life. We went on a short boat ride to and then through the arch and then landed. We had a few hours with the entire area to our selves and were able to explore and photograph at will. This is perfect for any photographers out there. Being able to choose my pickup/ dropoff time was awesome. I even had some bad weather on the day I originally scheduled and the boat captain worked with me to reschedule. He even was willing to go pretty much every night to make sure I got the weather I wanted. The weather in the Faroes is so unpredictable, this gave me peace of mind and really created an epic experience for us. Loved this and if I come back for another visit I'll definitely be doing this again!

An amazing experience and a very friendly guide. The horses are really beautiful and easy to ride.

Very, very fun, surprising, and overall a wonderful experience. Very nice and knowledgeable guides. Got to experience some of the best Faroese scenery.

Our captain Sólja was very engaged, informative, knowledgable and skilled in driving the boat. The whole 90 minutes was full of adventure and photographic opportunities. Very highly recommended tour.

Mellissa went over and beyond a bright and very engaging guide and we were privileged to have her. As for the sights I took so many photos, I got a sore neck lol. I totally recommend this tour and the guide. Ps the included lunch was delicious.
