Welcome to Faroe Islands

I didn’t go up mount Slættaratindur as it was cloudy and we wouldn’t have had any visibility. We went an alternative route, and it was perfect! I had an amazing time. My guide was great and full of interesting information!

Great tour with Jens showing us all the key sites of places we just walked past thinking that’s a nice building during the day. Without a guide you basically miss out on knowing what buildings are for. The parliament in the centre just looks like a Village Hall. Nice fella as well.

I came to the Faroe Islands for a conference, so I had limited time for sightseeing. That was why I chose the See It All tour. I am very grateful to Elsa for guiding the tour and helping me make the most of my day in the Faroe Islands.

During the tour, I was able to enjoy both the beautiful natural scenery and learn more about the local culture and way of life. I saw the unique landscapes of the Faroe Islands and was also lucky enough to see some lovely puffins.

Elsa was enthusiastic, cheerful, and patient throughout the day. She explained local traditions, customs, and everyday life in a very friendly and interesting way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I love these stories.

Such a good decision to arrange a pickup so I didn't have to think upon landing! Everything worked out perfectly and I got to my accommodation without any stress.

I booked this tour very last minute and what a good decision that was! I got to see so much and hear some very local knowledge and stories from Jens Petur. We also had a tasty lunch in Klaksvik. Highly recommended!

Eneste minus. Extra 500 kr i gebyr for besøge øen ( beskyttelse af miljø ) og guide tur. Du kan ikke få adgang uden dette gebyr .

We had such a wonderful day on this tour! Maria was an amazing guide — incredibly friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. She told us so much about Faroese history, culture, traditions, local life, and many interesting stories along the way.

Even though it was raining, she made sure we could visit as many places as possible, and we still saw so much in just one day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! We also loved trying the delicious fish soup — a very special local experience.

The whole day felt relaxed, fun, and never rushed. As first-time visitors to the Faroe Islands, this tour was a perfect introduction and gave us a great overview of the islands. Maria really made the experience special with her kindness, enthusiasm, and knowledge.

A thoroughly enjoyable time seeing the islands with my guides Melissa and Anita. Both provided excellent commentary of the sights visited and gave a great insight into Faroise life. I definitely saw a lot more of the islands by joining this tour than if I were to visit the islands on my own. Highly recommended.

Great tour. You get to see a lot in several hours. Elsa Maria was a wonderful guide and an even better driver on some very narrow roads. Both Jens Petur and Elsa Maria provided in depth historical and general knowledge about the islands which was very interesting and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to see most of the note worthy sites in a short space of time and if you do this early in your trip, you can go back later to sites you want to visit in more depth.

This is an excellent small-group tour to the island of Kalsoy. The landscape is absolutely incredible, of course, but the tour is also well-organized (pick-up at accommodations and time-wise given that there's a ferry with limited space for cars involved), there's lunch included (we had a really good sandwich from a bakery in Klaksvik, fruit, and water), there's enough time for the hike and - in theory - for the stop at Mikladalur. The guide is very nice and knowledgeable, and she even played some music from Eivør inspired by the tale of the selkie lady, which was a nice touch. She also went out of her way to ensure that two participents on our tour would make their same-day flight: we took an earlier ferry than planned (and reserved), which isn't so easy on that small boat. If there was one negative to our tour, I suppose this is it. Of course, it's very accommodating to make sure that these people caught their flight, however, this shortened the tour for everyone and made our stop in Mikladalur a little rushed. But that was an exception rather than the rule for sure, and though negative for some, it was a huge plus for others. If you want to see Kalsoy, this tour is a great choice!

We had a great day with Elsa Maria going around Faroe Islands. It also came with many surprises and impromptu sights. Would highly recommend! Skál!
