This boat tour was a lot of fun! It was a little of everything from a high speed boat ride to passing quietly through beautiful caves Our tour guide was great. We learned a lot about birds and the islands. He made sure to turn the boat around so everyone got the perfect pictures. The suits kept you warm and the seats on the boat were comfortable. I highly recommend this tour.

Had a great tour with Jóhan. Learned so many new things about the Faroes. Saw amazing sites, both historic and natural. A local lunch was included as were beverages. Learned about geocaching! Really a perfect day and a highlight of our cruise so far. Thanks Jóhan.

We had an exceptional experience on the **7 Hour Tour** with our guide, Jóhan.

When I originally found this tour online, the scheduled 8:30 a.m. departure seemed impossible for us because our cruise ship was not scheduled to dock in Tórshavn until 10:00. I contacted the company by email, and they were wonderful about working with our schedule. As it turned out, all six people on our tour were passengers from the same cruise ship, so the tour was adjusted to accommodate our arrival.

Communication was excellent. Jóhan let us know exactly where to meet him at the cruise shuttle drop-off in Tórshavn and even told us what van to look for. With only six passengers in a small van, the tour felt very personal, and the vehicle was perfect for traveling some of the smaller roads throughout the islands.

Jóhan and his family run the tour company, and his lifelong connection to the Faroe Islands was evident throughout the day. He was extremely knowledgeable and did an exceptional job of showing us the breathtaking scenery while always remaining aware of our ship's schedule. As cruise passengers, getting back to the ship on time is always in the back of your mind, but with Jóhan there was never any reason to worry.

We covered an incredible amount of the Faroe Islands during our seven-hour tour. Among our stops were **Gjógv, Saksun, Fossá Waterfall, Tjørnuvík, Bøur, Gásadalur and Múlafossur Waterfall**, traveling across several islands along the way. Even the transportation was memorable—we traveled through the remarkable under-ocean tunnel to Eysturoy, complete with a roundabout beneath the ocean!

The scenery throughout the day was spectacular. Everywhere we looked there seemed to be another waterfall, along with sheep, birds, dramatic mountains and beautiful coastal views. One of the unexpected highlights was spotting puffins, which was especially fun.

Jóhan also provided sandwiches and drinks along the way, which was a very nice touch on a full seven-hour excursion. It allowed us to enjoy lunch without taking valuable sightseeing time away from an already busy day.

The weather was cool and drizzly, but for most of the day we had good enough visibility to appreciate the scenery. Toward the end of the tour we encountered some fairly heavy fog, but even that seemed appropriate for the dramatic landscape and certainly did not detract from our experience.

By the end of the day, we truly felt as though we had received a comprehensive introduction to the Faroe Islands. This tour allowed us to see far more than we ever could have managed on our own, and Jóhan's local knowledge made the experience even more meaningful.

Best of all, just as promised, Jóhan had us back with plenty of time before our ship departed—and rather than simply returning us to the shuttle stop, he took us directly to the ship's gangway.

I would highly recommend the **7 Hour Tour**, particularly to cruise passengers. The company's flexibility, excellent communication, small-group experience, thoughtful touches and Jóhan's knowledge of his home islands made this one of the most memorable excursions of our trip.

Jóhan is a marvelous guide and driver. The included lunch was tasty and included beer, a rarity. He helped us see the beauty of his country. This is a much better choice than cruise ship excursions. The smaller vehicle can go places the buses can’t.

Thank you so much for making my dream trip a memorable one. The organization of this trip was effortless with efficient support from Hogni. Few minutes after landing, my guide, Hugin, sent me a message which reassured me that everything had been organized. Trust Hugin, he knows when and where to bring you as it depends a lot on the weather, so we kept itinerary flexible. I am not a fast hiker and Hugin was patient and adjusted to my pace. Many thanks for the great scenic hikes and this experience. Love Faroe Islands the way it is!

The puffins alone is worth the price of admission as you can almost reach out and touch them (but don’t)! Katherine is very passionate about her island and it shows in her guiding. It brings a personal touch to the experience. This is definitely the best tour of Mykines.

This was my first time to the Faroes and this boat trip was beyond expectations. The scenery was spectacular and is unlike anything in the world. Definitely worth the 1.5 hour tour. Go early in the morning as the boat does get a little crowded for the best spots.

Katrin is very welcoming and gave us a lot of insights about the island and the faroe in general.
Before hiking she offerd some tea and snacks at her house, then we followed a very nice path along the coast of the island where we saw a lot of puffins. We only sopped to eat a delicious light lunch also prepared by Katrin. At the end of the hike we had an amazing fish soup and home-made cake!
Finally Katrin showed us the village and waited with us for the boat back.
I would suggest this experience to anyone who likes to explore and hike but also enjoys being taken care of! ❤️
