Our guide was a local. His car was great—and his driving was even better.

I have a tiny fear of heights. Looking at the cliffs far away, I thought, "No way. I'm not going up." But later, I changed my mind. I tried. I hiked to a higher spot.

The trip was packed with wonderful things to do. Our guide shared plenty of funny stories along the way.

I felt safe, relaxed, and truly enjoyed every moment.

Sometimes you just need to take that small step. 🌄

We didn’t plan to stay. But the weather forecast promised two sunny days ahead, so we decided to extend our trip.

Then, at noon, the wind suddenly howled. Rain poured down like a curtain. We thought, “Oh no…”

But soon, the rain stopped. The sun broke through the clouds, sprinkling golden light over the valley. Shadows and brightness danced across the hills—mysterious, magical, breathtaking.

We ended up visiting many hidden, wonderful places. Our guide? A blast! He was chatty, funny, full of energy, with a booming laugh. He told us wild stories that made the landscape come alive.

We felt happy and safe.

Totally worth it. A wonderful, unplanned surprise. 🌦️☀️🏞️

This sunset trip was perfectly designed. The mountain walk felt safe and easy, so we could just enjoy the magic.

We got lucky with the weather—clear skies, soft light. Nature’s beauty blew us away.

Our guide lives right on James Bond Island. He has a warm, happy family. Here’s a little secret: he might invite you to his home, where his wife cooks amazing food.

But no more spoilers!

All I’ll say is—it was a beautiful sunset journey. I wish I could do it all over again. 🌅

We visited Tórshavn recently and booked a walking tour with Jens — and it genuinely exceeded every expectation.

Jens is an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the Faroe Islands is deep and vivid, but what sets him apart is his ability to connect local history and culture to broader world affairs in a way that feels immediately relevant to his guests. We would never have been able to gain this rich an understanding of the islands on our own — that's not something you can get from a guidebook or a self-guided walk.

He goes the extra mile in every sense: thoughtful, warm, and clearly passionate about sharing his home with visitors. We came away feeling like we'd truly understood a place, not just passed through it.

Our guide used to be a PE teacher.
She was full of energy, warm.

She took our group to so many cool, famous spots. Along the way, we stopped at a famous café-restaurant. I loved their fish soup—so good!

She drove for hours, talked and explained, then hiked with us through mountain trails. Never seemed tired. Just kept going with a big smile.

We felt happy, full, and well taken care of. And the natural views? Simply stunning.

Kayaking in the Faroe Islands was an incredible experience with absolutely stunning views. The scenery is breathtaking, and seeing the dramatic cliffs is unforgettable.

Be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions, as the weather can shift quickly throughout the day. Also, some of the best viewpoints require navigating moderate to difficult terrain, so proper footwear and a reasonable fitness level are recommended.

A special thank you to Michael, who was extremely helpful and provided clear instructions and guidance for the experience. His knowledge and support made the adventure both enjoyable and safe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable outdoor experience.

My wife and I really enjoyed this walking tour around Torshavn with Jens as our guide. Jens explained everything very well and had lots of interesting facts to share about this fascinating little capital city. The tour was very relaxed with not too much walking mostly around the old town.

We had a great time! A super guide, who talked with a lot of love and humor about the islands, the history, traditions and culture. We saw many beautifull spots and breathtaking views. Thank you Elsa Marie!!

L’idée de commencer notre visite des Îles Féroé par une rencontre avec de « vraies » personnes nous avait séduits, et donc nous avions réservé ce tour pour le 1er soir !
Quelle belle aventure !! Il faut seulement 45 minutes pour rejoindre Klaksvik depuis Torshavn où arrive le ferry, et retrouver David qui nous entraîne dans la visite de cette bergerie perdue au bout du monde.
C’est sous une bonne grosse pluie que nous avons rejoint la bergerie pour une dégustation de tartines à base de produits locaux tous à base de mouton : la curiosité des Français pour les nouveautés culinaires, c’est bien connu :) certains goûts sont déroutants, comme le mouton fermenté, mais c’est très bon ! Pour la bergerie nous avons la chance de voir de tout petits agneaux avec leurs mamans, et des mâles curieux de nous voir… La soirée continue chez l’éleveur et sa femme, autour d’une table magnifique, pour goûter la soupe traditionnelle et discuter tous ensemble (canadiens, américains, français…) avec nos hôtes. Tous les sujets y sont passés, très intéressant ! Merci David, pour ton talent de « faiseur de rencontres ».
Allez-y les yeux fermés !!!

Our boat tour to Mykines was absolutely amazing.
The captain and our guide were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout the entire trip.
They even took the initiative to show us some extra breathtaking spots and stunning landscapes beyond the standard route, which made the experience feel very special and personal.
The scenery was unforgettable, and the whole tour exceeded our expectations.

I had an amazing time exploring Faroe Islands. such a beautiful country
the whole experience booking the tour was smooth. Initially I was told there was being a problem booking a hotel (in all fairness I booked the tour only about 2-3 weeks before my arrival) but Hogni handled everything amazingly. he kept informing me about any changes or updates. he was always very quick at responding if I needed any help. Car hire was smooth, all undersea tunnels are paid through them, the cost is deducted from your deposit, which means you dont have to worry and remember to pay for them. the only downside I found, was the information about the cost of undersea tunnels. when I was picking up the car, I was told there's only 3 tunnels that are chargeable. Once you're on the road, you'll find out that's not the case. not that is a huge issue, but a little misleading. It would be handy to know upfront.
I would definitely recommend this.

An enjoyable tour - even as weather conditions were not 100% perfect with wind an slight rain.
Amazing, how close the captain managed to get to (and through the arches of) cliffs - it as a superb experience.
Organisation was relaxed and easy - and especially with some issues when redeeming a gift voucher, the communication was quick, easy, and super supportive with a generous solution.
