We could not be happier with our stay at Mykinesstova. This must be the best way to experience Mykines. Wonderful hosts, excellent guiding and fishsoup!

We had a great time with Jens Peter! The hours flew by as we saw one amazing view after the other. The restaurant we stopped by even had a vegan options, which isn't a given for the Faroese Islands. We warmly recommend this tour!

Exceptional tour for anyone visiting the Faroe Islands for the first time. Annika is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and absolutely loves her country. This tour is a great way to get a well rounded view of all the key sights in one day. Annika points out things throughout the tour which you would never notice/know if you were visiting by yourself.

From looking at the online description, this tour looked like exactly what we wanted- from airport transfers, hotel accommodations, and sights to see. It was that and MORE. It was an amazing trip and our guide, Sveinur, was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour personal ( and the sandwiches were so good!) We learned so much and were totally amazed by your beautiful country. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Faroe Islands!

Melissa at tour company took us on this tour and was amazing. She was pleasant and knowledgable. The sights are breath taking, once in a lifetime experience. Hogni at Guide to Faroe Islands is great, very responsive. Tour agency office staff not to be named here needs to work on their communication practices. Highly recommend this tour - just get confirmation EXACTLY where you are getting picked up. This is a must do tour!

We really enjoyed our walking tour of Torshavn. As a guide, Jens is second to none. We highly recommend this informative and enjoyable tour.

Elsa Maria skapte en perfekt start på mitt opphold på Færøyene:) Hennes kunnskap, historier, humor, engasjement og refleksjoner ga meg et innblikk jeg satt stor pris på. Stedene hun tok oss til var et must see, og opplevde også at hun ga oss «det lille ekstra». Jeg er så glad jeg bestilte denne turen og anbefaler den på det sterkeste :)

It was very beautiful and good for the family. I did find it to be a bit long at the end. I think it could go about 15 or 20 minutes less. The guide on the boat was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Well worth taking the time out to see this part of the Faroes which would be impossible to see from the land. The boat was expertly taken in and out of the various intricate inlets and arches at the foot of the cliffs to make it really memorable.

This tour was fantastic and highly recommended. Elsa Maria knows her way around the islands and has many stories and insights that would be difficult to access without this tour. A great way to see a lot and get a comprehensive introduction to the Faroes.

This tour was amazing and the absolute highlight of our time in the Faroe Islands. Katrin was such a wonderful local guide, her family lived on this island - she is so friendly and accommodating catering the tour for what suited our interests too - as we were the only ones on the tour this day. And what a day it was the weather was spectacular and the scenery on Mykines was so beautiful. We spent a lot of time watching and photographing the Puffins (our choice as we had the place to ourselves almost for most of the time) and just enjoying the perfect location and weather.
It was so lovely also to have the house/cafe as a base to relax and enjoy coffee/tea and soup. The packed lunch was also very local and lovely.
This truely was the highlight of our time in the Faroe Islands and we would love to go back and experience the evening tour with the Puffins another time. Thanks again Katrin for a wonderful day.

Elsa Marie is fantastic. This tour is fantastic. A definite recommend to see so much of the islands, and hear so many stories and interesting facts. A great 1st day activity to get to know a little about these amazing islands. Extremely professional and a lot of fun.

Took this tour in lieu of an unexpected change in plan by our tour operator. No regrets that this happened as I gained a good amount of knowledge from Jens. I recommend taking this tour before you begin your full journey.
