During my recent visit to the Faroe Islands, I had the wonderful experience of taking the See It All Tour, led by guide and driver Elsa Maria. This was my third trip from California, USA to Scandinavia, following previous visits to Denmark and Norway. The first few days of my visit to the Faroes were rainy, but Friday August 21, the day of my See It All Tour, turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day.
Elsa picked up our group punctually on time and proceeded to drive us to many sites of great scenic beauty and cultural significance. As a former school teacher, Elsa began the tour by giving all of her guests the opportunity to introduce themselves. For the rest of the tour, she provided a running narrative of the sites along the way and where we stopped. As a Faroese native, her love and deep knowledge of her country was evident. She seemed to know all the residents we encountered on a first-name basis. She offered to take photos of our tour group members to help ensure we would have lasting memories of our experiences. She took us to a wonderful restaurant for a lunch stop. By the end of the day, all of those in our group had a lasting positive impression of the Faroe Islands. I highly recommend Elsa's tour to anyone visiting the Faroes who has a day free to See It All.

A fantastic day out with the intensely passionate and proud Faroe Jens. A font of knowledge on history, geography and culture of the Islands you can tell he loves showing visitors the islands. What was booked as a 7 hour day turned into 9 hours seeing all the main points of interest on the Islands. If people are willing to see more Jens and his sister on the other minibus have no issue giving you more. Great trip where we felt we have seen a lot of the Islands and its culture. Highly recommend!

Led by Elsa Maria was hands down the best decision of my entire trip! Being a Tórshavn native, her deep roots and love for the islands shine through every story she and her brothers share. She didn't just drive us around, she brought the rich history, legends, movie attractions, and local culture of the Faroe Islands to life. Standing by the iconic Múlafossur waterfall, seeing the dramatic cliffs of Gjógv, and witnessing the massive Fossá waterfall left me completely speechless. Elsa Maria picked us up right from our accommodation in Tórshavn. Throughout the day, she went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable, gave us plenty of time to take photos, and curated the day with genuine warmth and care. If you want a comprehensive, deeply local, and utterly stunning introduction to the Faroe Islands, do not hesitate to book this tour with Elsa Maria. She and her brother are an absolute gem! I almost don't want to tell people about this tour so that it remains a hidden gem! Jógvan provided expert guidance and thoughtful planning to ensure we had an unforgettable evening in Kalsoy. While it's nearly impossible to predict the weather here, our hike to Kallur lighthouse was perfectly timed to catch the only hours of sun during an otherwise rainy day. We encountered very few people out at this time, so it was a near private hike, with plenty of time to explore and take in the scenery. The tour ended with a delicious meal in his home prepared by his wife, who kindly made adjustments to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Jógvan provided interesting information about Faroese history and culture throughout the tour, and it's clear he genuinely enjoys hosting visitors on his island. I can't recommend this tour enough!

I didn’t go up mount Slættaratindur as it was cloudy and we wouldn’t have had any visibility. We went an alternative route, and it was perfect! I had an amazing time. My guide was great and full of interesting information!

Great tour with Jens showing us all the key sites of places we just walked past thinking that’s a nice building during the day. Without a guide you basically miss out on knowing what buildings are for. The parliament in the centre just looks like a Village Hall. Nice fella as well.

I came to the Faroe Islands for a conference, so I had limited time for sightseeing. That was why I chose the See It All tour. I am very grateful to Elsa for guiding the tour and helping me make the most of my day in the Faroe Islands.

During the tour, I was able to enjoy both the beautiful natural scenery and learn more about the local culture and way of life. I saw the unique landscapes of the Faroe Islands and was also lucky enough to see some lovely puffins.

Such a good decision to arrange a pickup so I didn't have to think upon landing! Everything worked out perfectly and I got to my accommodation without any stress.

I booked this tour very last minute and what a good decision that was! I got to see so much and hear some very local knowledge and stories from Jens Petur. We also had a tasty lunch in Klaksvik. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful day on this tour! Maria was an amazing guide — incredibly friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. She told us so much about Faroese history, culture, traditions, local life, and many interesting stories along the way.

Even though it was raining, she made sure we could visit as many places as possible, and we still saw so much in just one day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! We also loved trying the delicious fish soup — a very special local experience.

The whole day felt relaxed, fun, and never rushed. As first-time visitors to the Faroe Islands, this tour was a perfect introduction and gave us a great overview of the islands. Maria really made the experience special with her kindness, enthusiasm, and knowledge.
