The tour to the Northern Islands was fantastic. My guide was Irdi who took me even though I was the only person on the tour. The islands are very beautiful and slightly different from the middle islands. The scenery was rugged and it was interesting to see so many of the smaller villages off the main roads. I learnt so much about the history and culture of the people. Irdi was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Due to scheduling, we only had 2 people plus the guide Idri. This allowed lots of informative conversation as we journeyed through the various islands. Idri is very knowledgeable about the area and she knew the special places off the beaten track. She took extra time to do so and also allowed us time to experience the various stops. The only issue we had was with the lunch. Instead of a picnic we ended up at a nice cafe due to the fact that I was vegetarian, a rarity for the Faroese. The cost was covered just the same.
I highly recommend this tour and this guide.
