Helle was an excellent guide for our tour to Kalsoy and Kallur lighthouse! She picked us up promptly at our hotel and we arrived at the ferry with time for coffee and bathroom break! A short bus ride took us to the starting point of our hike. She slowed her pace on the hike to match my slower pace and we successfully made it to the lighthouse and the stunning views! We then enjoyed a lovely bag lunch she brought for us! The hike was very muddy and the trail was narrow. Be sure to wear good hiking shoes and use the hiking pole she supplied! We enjoyed hearing her stories of living on the Faroe Islands! Highly recommend this tour if you like a good hike!!

We are so grateful to this tour company for accommodating us on short notice when other plans fell through. We had a fantastic trip up to Kalsoy via van, ferry and bus, with lots of breathtaking landscapes and friendly conversation. The hike to the lighthouse was challenging that day — with the rain, low clouds, wind, and mud — but I’m so glad we did it!

Ursula was a very good guide and she has a very deep knowledge of all things Faroese. This tour has a bit of a strict schedule as you are tied to the ferry to and from the island of Kalsoy.
The highlight of the day was definitely the hike to the famous Kallur lighthouse with the utterly sweet and helpful Johannus who went out of his way to make sure everyone on the tour had a great time.

The driver was a bit late in picking up in the morning, but other than this everything was fine. The scenery along the hike was awesome. It was foggy on the mountain top when we reached the lighthouse but we managed to take some good photos afterwards. I would still recommend this tour to visitors to Faroe Islands.

My friend and I booked this tour and had an amazing time. The guide was a great storyteller and excellent at communicating with all members of the group – it may be because of his degree in literature :).. The packed lunch was so good and a nice tuch.
