It was such an unforgettable, precious time at the knitting club as is titled as Cosy Evening.
I had been notified that I was the only guest participant that evening and was a bit nervous before it started, but from the moment I stepped into their home I felt at home and so relaxed. I really enjoyed learning about the basics of knitting in the Faroe Islands, chatting with my hosts Elin and Gunnvá, enjoying a delicious supper and, of course, knitting.
Travelling alone from the other side of the world, I’ll never forget the warm welcome I received that evening.

I had a lovely evening with Elin and Gunnvá! They were very welcoming and friendly, and spoke excellent English. The food that they served was delicious, and Gunnvá’s house was cozy, inviting, and a very comfortable to spend the evening learning about Faroese knitting and culture. I would absolutely recommend this experience!

It was an amazing experience, that taught me something new I would definitely be doing in my spare time. The atmosphere was really cozy and the food was delicious. The hosts were super kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend taking part in this happening as you can learn not only how to knit, but also a lot about Faroe Islands.
