Although it was teeming rain, the tour was excellent. We saw Puffins, grey seals, minke whales and so many birds. The black beaches, sea arch and salmon fisheries were all part of the sights. Elias was entertaining and we forget all bout the rain!

Our family of four shared a boat with two other passengers and we all had a great ride out to see puffins. Our guide was welcoming and knowledgeable about every part of our journey. He told us about the fish farms, the birds, the history of the town and culture of the Faroe Islands. He took us up close to puffins and waterfalls and beautiful rock formations and let us leisurely enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend taking this trip. It is breathtaking view of an extraordinary place. And the puffins were plentiful. Hands down, the Best money we have ever spent.

it was great. the captain knows the most beautiful corners of the fjord, as much for the birds as for the landscape. we were able to observe the birds without disturbing them. moreover, the captain was very friendly and full of knowledge about the fjord.

Absolutely worth it! First of all, if you think this is just another ordinary Drangarnir tour, based on the route, you are so wrong and so was I! This is a much smaller group, more intimate boat tour with a more comfortable boat, and you get much more time to learn stories of the captain himself, his family and friends growing up at the shores and lighthouses you passes by. And while we only saw one puffin at the other rubber boat Drangarnir tour (to be fair not for bird watching), we saw a sea of puffins at this tour! Our captain obviously knows the birds well to know when is the best time and where best to find them.
We were staying in the Faroe Islands for one whole week but all ferry to Mykines was canceled, was so disappointed that we didn’t get to see puffin up close but this tour just gave us what we needed. Especially in May and June, when most puffins are at the sea, I think this tour is absolutely worth it. The best tour we had on the Faroe Island!
