This tour will take you all around Streymoy Island, capturing its diverse beauty through your lens. You’ll be guided by a local expert who is both a photographer and storyteller, ensuring you see—and photograph—the best this island has to offer, from north to south.

Your day begins with a morning pick-up in Tórshavn, though alternate locations can be arranged if needed.

Our first stop is the breathtaking village of Saksun, nestled in a serene valley with its iconic lagoon and the historical turf-roofed farmhouse Dúvugarðar. The calm, reflective water and dramatic mountains provide the perfect setting for tranquil, postcard-worthy photos.

Next, we continue north to Tjørnuvík, a charming village at the end of the road. Here you’ll walk on the famous black sand beach, with views of the sea stacks Risin & Kellingin rising from the ocean in the distance. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and soak in the raw, untouched nature around you.

From there, we head west to the harbour town of Vestmanna, where you have the optional opportunity to join a boat tour to the majestic Vestmanna Sea Cliffs—home to puffins, seabirds, and towering rock faces carved by the Atlantic Ocean.

As we make our way south, we’ll explore the small hillside village of Velbastaður, known for its sweeping views of the surrounding islands and its peaceful, historic charm.

The final highlight of the tour is Kirkjubøur, the historical capital of the Faroe Islands. You’ll visit the old wooden farmhouse Roykstovan, the medieval Magnus Cathedral ruins, and the ancient Ólavskirkjan church—all set against a dramatic coastal backdrop.
