We are pretty spoiled with nature (and sailing) from Norway, but this was just spectacular. Also, whilst having seen quite a bit driving around the Faroe Islands by car, the “back side” of Nólsoy with masses of birds and the caves, only accessible by boat, was extraordinary. Knowledgeable guides made this our highlight of the Faroe Island trip. Strongly recommended.

The tour was really good, we had a great time! Due to fog we didn’t see a lot but the sailors were friendly, we got some snacks and enjoyed it!

The sailboat tour is a must for nature lovers. Easily one of our favorite parts of the trip. We saw so many animals including puffins, ducks, gannets, seals, and of course, sheep hanging out on the cliffs. Birgir is a fantastic host, and a retired diver with many charming stories of the caves along Nolsoy island, and he makes a mean fish soup. If you’re lucky, Josh from Utah will be onboard as Birgir’s first mate. A very interesting a knowledgeable person to meet while on vacation. 10/10 would recommend.
