    Excellent dinner! We were at home and so much welcome, not only as guests but also as members of the family. The food was so authentic, with many local stories about the host’s family. The BBQ was outstanding with such a great view of the shore. This experience was UNIQUE. I do recommend it.

    The Supper Club evening at Anna and Olis‘ place was great. The meal was very delicious. We talked a lot with Oli; he is really an interesting man and a very good entertainer. The kids had fun with the animals.

    Wonderful Evening with Anna and Oli

    What a phenomenal night! Everything about this experience was perfection. Anna and Oli welcomed us to their home with such hospitality and led us to their dining room with huge picture windows overlooking a beautiful sea view. From there, the night was off to a bang — a homemade aperitif made from rhubarb, snuggles with their newest sheep dog (still a glorious puppy), and then dish after dish of fine farm-to-table Faroese delicacies (unbelievably delicious) paired with Faroese beers of all sorts. Anna and Oli were so kind to tell us all about their life and the special events of raising sheep (there are annual sheep beauty contests!). We felt quite lucky to be joined at the table with curious and fun travelers from the U.S. and Spain. My sister and I left smiling from ear to ear and will remember that special night as emblematic of the kind, authentic, extraordinary Faroese people.

    This was such a great experience. Anna, Óli, and their family members were very welcoming and top notch hosts. Their son in law was very kind and answered some general questions about the Faroe Islands we had. Every course of the meal was delicious and it was so fun to meet other travelers and hear about their lives. They also have the best view ever!

    I was absolutely delighted we found this experience. The food drink and welcome were absolutely fabulous. I could safely say that the roast lamb was the best I have ever tasted. We took a taxi from Torshavn and that was a great decision because the drink was plentiful. Thank you so much to the whole family

    Outstanding dinner – a true highlight of our trip. Ola and Anna are wonderful cooks and hosts. The meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Each course was from their farm – fresh, traditional and paired with a Faroese beer.

    We dined with 13 other guests who were all enjoyable in conversation. We especially enjoyed talking with our Australian and Ukrainian guests!

    Lastly, the views from our table overlooking the water and other islands was otherworldly – I took so many photos of food and views.

    Highly recommended!!!

    Enestående middag – et sant høydepunkt på turen. Ola og Anna er fantastiske kokker og verter. Måltidet var deilig og omtenksomt tilberedt. Hvert kurs var fra gården deres – ferskt, tradisjonelt og sammen med en færøysk øl.

    Vi spiste middag med 13 andre gjester som alle var hyggelige i samtalen. Vi likte spesielt å snakke med våre australske og ukrainske gjester!

    Til slutt, utsikten fra bordet vårt med utsikt over vannet og andre øyer var utenomjordisk – jeg tok så mange bilder av mat og utsikt.

    Fantastisk gjestfrihet å kunne komme hjem til dere og få servert en fireretters meny bestående av ekte færøyske råvarer. Hyggelig å møte forskjellige nasjonaliteter og høre gode historier ved bordet. En virkelig flott avslutning på vår ferie. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

    Too much lamb (two courses)
    No fish, only scrimps.

    Es war bei unserem Besuch ein sehr schöner Abend, mit spannenden Gästen und sehr leckerem Essen. Die gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und es ist ein Abend der in Erinnerung bleibt.

    Danke dafür.

    Eine Kleinigkeit: Aufgrund der vielen Menschen war es sehr laut gewesen. Für Leute mit Hörgeräte kann es vielleicht etwas schwierig sein.
