Accommodation was wonderful and the day trips all went wonderfully well. I didn’t think I needed a sunscreen lotion going there though, it should have been on the ‘to pack list’ 🙂
Thank you for arranging everything.

I had six clear days of touring around with Guide to Faroes tour guides – the planning that would have been involved without going as part of the tour would have been virtually impossible as there were ferries or boat trips on 4 of the 6 days.
The comfortable vehicles are for small groups – there were only 4-7 of us on any particular day.
Every day was a visual feast, the rugged splendour of the Faroes is like nowhere else. The guides were delightful and happy to answer any questions. Like the scenery the Faroese are resilient, but they also very socially minded – I was very impressed with the way they look after each other.
These islands will always have a place in my heart.
Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day Faroe Island tour package. As a family run business, the tour was a local, personal, friendly experience. As expected, it rained most days, off and on, and our guides adjusted the scheduled events as needed. Being flexible is a must, and we felt we saw everything we came to see, including the puffins! Personal touches, like coffee and waffles served in the home of a remote island resident enriched our tour. Rain jackets, rain pants and waterproof hiking boots are highly recommended!

Absolutely FIVE stars rating! The 8-Day Summer Package is totally worth it. The beautiful scenery of Faroe Islands and the kind human beings on this island make me believe this trip is one of the most unforgettable journeys in my life. Thanks a lot for Hogni’s detailed arrangement based on my personal needs, as well as our guides Jens, Hansy, and Johan. All of them are super helpful and friendly. I believe the most beautiful scenery in the Faroe Islands is not just itself, but the people on this island. I am very lucky to have both on this trip.

Fabulous exposure to the stunningly beautiful Faroe Islands. We had a wonderful trip and we’re lucky to have sunshine almost the entire trip. We saw so much in the islands, inclyding just about every highlight. Our guides were a local family who provided great care, sharing history, culture and personal stories. The guide team worked hard to accommodate every member of the group regardless of age or hiking ability. We had an amazing trip and would recommend to everyone. Thank you to Johan, sister Hansy, momma Jonah, and extra guide Jens for making our trip remarkable and memorable.

Our tour was absolutely perfect! The Faroe Islands are stunningly beautiful, and the Faroese people are ingenious, resourceful, and welcoming. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety while giving us the most extraordinary and magical experience! I just can’t say enough about how knowledgeable they are and what good care they took of us. The islands themselves are a breathtaking, natural treasure. The hikes to Kallur Lighthouse and Trælanípa & Bøsdalafossur Waterfall, as well as the trip to Mykines to see the puffins, were all truly amazing. We will go back as soon as we are able! Many thanks to the whole family!

This whole trip was planned and executed very well and professionally. Guide To Faroe Islands is a travel agency which arranged for everything except our flights and dinners. Our guides were friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and took very good care of us. But don’t set your expectations too high on the weather. Mykines, with its plentiful puffins, is a highlight of the tour. The ferry to Mykines was canceled on Wednesday due to high winds, so we did a culture and history tour instead, which was nice. They rebooked us for Saturday, and the ferry canceled again. We went to Vestmanna instead, which was spectacular. The day trips wisely alternated between hiking on one day, then sightseeing on the next day. We were booked at the Hilton Garden Inn, which is new, clean, and has a great breakfast. It is a 25 minute walk, or 100 DKK taxi, to Thorshavn’s historic town, where many restaurants are located. We were there in early August. I highly recommend this trip, and I’m glad we didn’t try to sightsee by ourselves. But be prepared for fog, rain, and wind.

Everything was perfect 🙂
Andreas, the guide, was very helpful, very well organized, and was able to apply “plan B” for the Mykines day (weather didn’t permitted us to go there by ferry)
I strongly recommend this tour, and Faroe in general. Great destination 🙂

We’re very lucky to have good weather during our stay in Faroe. Our guide are very friendly. We love the people, landscape & food. I highly recommend the first time visitors to join this package tour.
We landed on Wednesday so missed the Mykines tour but the Guide to Faroe Islands team managed to book us on the following Monday with the same guide. Finally the ferry was cancelled whole last week. We’re so lucky that we could catch the ferry to Mykines on Monday with good weather. We took lots of pictures with Puffins. There are thousands of Puffins on Mykines.
We’re so impressed with the landscape with the hike in Kalsoy & floating lake. The weather was perfect during our hiking trips. Our last day tour to Streymoy & Eysturoy was raining but we still had fun to have homemade waffles and coffee in a local home with John & his mom. After the tour, John brought us to his mom’s house, his father had prepared some air-dried meat, fats, potatoes for us.
My husband and I will come back to see people and eat at KOKS when they return to their home in Faroe Islands.

We had the best time on this trip!! We have traveled to Iceland, Greenland and many other islands, but the Faroes was our favorite trip overall, largely due to our guided daily trips! Our guide made this adventure extra enjoyable. Instead of rigidly sticking to the planned itinerary, he watched the weather (moving days to hike when it was too wet), listened to what we wanted, and helped to meld that into an unforgettable experience! He shared his stories as a native and we learned a lot about the history and culture of the Faroese. We got lucky with the weather, and had plenty of clear days. The incredible coastal vistas we experienced on the islands we visited were unparalleled. It was the perfect mix of boat trips and hiking. Our hotel was very clean and we had a lovely view of the ocean from our room. We even got to take part in Culture Day in Torshavn! I would highly recommend the guide and will steer interested friends and family your way!

My tour was amazing! Had an amazing tour guide, he explained places so well and had so many stories to keep us entertained. The tour was well organized with a small group, enough to put all of us in a 7 seater van. It helped keep everyone together and was easier to get to know everyone. Both brothers were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I usually don’t like joining group tours, but they were so prepared and had so many snacks and drinks for us ready! I was totally taken aback. The whole tour was made so I could relax so well, I basically waited for the van everyday and it was adventure time!
I specifically picked this package because it could go to all of the islands and I loved it! I totally recommend it to anyone who decides to go to the Faroes. I did comparisons with other companies and this package has all and everything (just about!) you want to see. I still miss it and am already planning on when to go back!

I was extremely happy with the experience:) the tours were absolutely amazing, wonderful tourguide with such strong knowledge of the islands and the flexibility of adjusting the schedule on the basis of the weather was super helpful and worked out perfectly.
The selection of what to visit and variety of activities was stellar and needless to say the Faroe Islands are more than beautiful.
Hotel also great, liked the gym, breakfast, bar and room. Only thing was that the cleaning could have been a bit better. Staff was super friendly.

Overall, it’s been beautiful. The landscapes here are amazing! I love the “naked” lush green moutains with tiny bright towns throughout. We had mainly good weather and made the best of the rain at Vestmanna, which was breathtaking. Given more time I could spend hours sitting at so many of the places that were highlighted. And I am very happy to have seen the puffins up close. Adorable.

I loved every bit of this tour. I felt overwhelmed when planning my Faroe Islands holiday, until I found Guide to the Faroe Islands. Hogni planned everything perfectly for me, making sure I was able to see everything without a care in the world. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and made the experience a great one. Sad to be heading home.

We have had a wonderful time, so different. We enjoyed everything. So pretty and calm, gorgeous scenery everywhere. We were very happy with all the arrangements and pick up times with very good and knowledgeable guides. Again, thank you for a lovely week in the Faroe Islands and soooo nice to say hi to the puffins.

Adorable.
