    My husband and I had a fantastic tour. It was just the two of us and we had an amazing experience. The serenity and beauty of the Faroe Islands was breathtaking. The guide was very kind and easy to talk to. He stopped the car numerous times for us to take photos and changed the itinerary to match the weather. It was the highlight of our trip. We would definitely use again. Thank you.

    Fór skemmtilega ferð um Færeyjar. Sáum mörg þorp og mannlífið víða. Bílstjórinn/leiðsögumaðurinn var fróður, en hefði mátt segja meira frá, meir en svara okkar spurningum sem hann gerði vel.
    Mikill galli að ekki var hljóðkerfi i bílnum. Sjálfur var ég í framsæti við hlið bílstjórans. Þeir sem aftar sátu heyrðu ekkert í honum. Ég reyndi að kalla það sem hann sagði til þeirra sem aftar sátu. Það gekk illa.
    Reyndi þá að setja þann sem best skildi Færeyskuna í framsætið við hlið bílstjórans en það gekk ekki betur. það litla sem ég heyrði af því sem þeir töluðu um í framsætinu gat ég komið til minna ferðafélaga afturí.
    Tillaga til úrbóta, hafið hljókerfi í bílnum.
    Sjálfur er ég vanur leiðsögumaður í ferðum um Ísland. Mikilvægt að hafa gott hljóðkerfi þannig að fróðleikurinn berist til allra sem í bílnum eru.

    It was just the two of us on the tour with the tour guide and I really appreciate the company didn’t cancel. Andreas was our tour guide and you could tell he wanted to be sure to provide us with the best possible sightseeing tour he could. There was a marathon in the city they usually start at, so the tour schedule was reversed to plan around it. He was easy to talk with and answered all our questions about the islands, culture, and whatever else we could think. It was a great experience and we were glad to support a local family business.

    A great tour that covers a lot of sightseeing, you would never want to cover this much if driving yourself in one day. Guide friendly, gave lots of information, plenty of time when we stopped to take pictures and walk around. Scenery is just wonderful.
    If you book a vegetarian pack lunch, remind the guide when the tour starts, as they phone ahead, so it is ready. Vegetarians are rare on the Faroes, so this menu choice runs out first.

    We and friends spent seven delightful hours with Hans. We saw 10x more of the islands at less than half the price of our cruise ship’s limited three hour offering. If you’re ever lucky enough to visit this wonder filled place, absolutely take this tour. One opportunity for improvement would be a little more context presented by commentary about the places we saw, in terms of history, etc. Still, the visuals made up for it and this is a tour not to be missed.

    Tour was fantastic. The locations we visited were exceptional. The included lunch was very good. The guide (Johan) was very friendly and easy going.
    It would have been better if he had an audio system available, he tended to only communicate with the passenger in the front.

    He wasn’t aware that we had to be port side by 4, which was stated on our confirmation.

    An amazing experience. This tour is exactly what it says. Came to the islands with my father and for his 70th birthday and this did not disappoint. Hans was an amazing guide and had very good historical facts for the places we visited.

    The views were absolutely stunning and some of the most breathtaking scenery I have ever seen, especially the waterfalls. We were so lucky we even got to see puffins close up too!

    Highly recommend this tour.

    This is a wonderful tour, well organized and showing us many interesting sites in these beautiful islands. We had to cut it a bit short due to an early departure of our ship, and our guide was able to adjust the itinerary to fit the time available.

    Our tour with Andrias was lots of fun. Andrias is a very knowledgeable Faroe Islander who appreciates and loves his home country.
    You can’t see everything in seven hours and, in fact, our tour was only six hours, but this tour is a good introduction to the region close to Torshavn.

Our time together was expertly managed and the commentary was uplifting and fascinating. While the tour is pricey, in my opinion, this is absolutely the very best way to spend your precious time in the Faroe Islands. I can’t think of another tour anywhere I have enjoyed as much as this one. I’d rate him six stars if I could.

    This was a fantastic tour with an amazing guide. The guide was extremely friendly and outgoing, gave lots of information/history of the islands, and went above and beyond our expectations. The food provided was great and plenty of time was given to explore and take pictures. We were debating whether to book a tour or explore on our own, and we’re very glad we went with a tour instead as it allowed us to relax and learn about the islands as we went. If returning to the islands, we would definitely book through Jóhan’s company again and would reccomend to others!

    I took this tour as I wanted to see as much of Faroe Islands as possible. This is a Private tour & was avaliable on Saturday, booked it through my hotel. They picked me up from my hotel at 9AM & we started the tour. We went to various places as highlighted in the tour, it was fun & relaxing & the guide was excellent, spoke very good English, & was very through & knowledgeable , knew all the correct spots & places to see & take pictures, had excellent knowledge about Faroe Islands & its history. Lunch was included in the package & was very good in a local Faroese Restaurant. He gave us enough time to absorb the beauty & take pictures, no rush or hurry.

    I would highly recommend this private tour to anyone, & would definitely contact them again next time I am in The Faroe Islands.
