Welcome To Our Living Room! This is where we live and play music.

Experience a living room concert in the private, humble townhouse of the award-winning Faroese-Canadian singer and songwriter, Lena Anderssen, and her husband Niclas Johannesen, and get the exclusive privilege to hear Lena perform her own songs unplugged.

It all takes place in Hoyvík, a suburb to Tórshavn, the colourful capital of the Faroe Islands. This is where music and artistic hospitality unfolds for you.

Lena has toured all around the world, and has performed for the Norwegian Prince and The Danish King. She has recorded her music in the world famous Abbey Road Studio 2, and her latest English speaking album was recorded in Los Angeles by the late legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick. Lena has had her songs featured in TV series like Beverly Hills 90210, Scrubs, Felicity, Nikita and Alias.

But here you get to hear Lena perform the songs as they were written, together with her husband Niclas Johannesen, with acoustic guitar, no amplification, as pure as it gets, with no electricity needed. Lena is known not only to be a fantastic singer and songwriter, but she’s also an excellent storyteller. Lena sings in both English and Faroese.

The concert starts at 4pm, and the event ends at 5.30 pm, so this is a perfect pre-dinner event.

P.S. There’s a lovely cat called Coco in the house, and Lena will be serving some light refreshments.
