In the course of five days, you are offered both the very best highlights of the Faroe Islands as well as lesser known beauties across the untouched island group. Everything comes with Faroese hospitality. You will visit all the main islands in the Faroe Islands, filled with natural wonders.

From Vágar Island and the famous Múlafossur Waterfall in the west, Kalsoy Island in the north to Sandoy Island in the south. This package delivers endless one-of-a-kind experiences. You will do some hiking and boating. From the amphitheater look-a-like village Vestmanna, you will sail to the most amazing sea cliffs. Hike along Lake Leitisvatn to the impressive optical illusion spot Trælanípa Cliff and the sheer cliff there. Moreover, find your way to the awe-inspiring Kallur Lighthouse with the most stunning coastal views of nearby skerries and soaring heights.

Your local tour guide will treat you like family. Pickup is done in Tórshavn each morning. At the end of the tours, you will be dropped off in Tórshavn again. Tórshavn is centrally located in the archipelago and the perfect base to stay when exploring the islands. Day 1

Vágar Island

Monday. Get ready to see some of the best attractions in the Faroe Islands all nestled on Vágar island. Your tour guide will pick you up in Tórshavn for your first day tour.

This tour includes the scenic village Gásadalur. The waterfall in this village is Faroe Islands' most popular attraction and for a good reason! Many consider Múlafossur as Faroe Islands' most beautiful waterfall. Your tour guide will take you close to the waterfall so that you will get the best photo opportunities.

Another highlight is the village Bøur. From this seaside settlement, you will have a good view of Drangarnir sea arch and the islet Tindhólmur.

This tour will also let you see Lake Leitisvatn known for its 'floating lake' perspective. The walk to the lake takes an hour and can be done by everyone. Your guide will take you back to Tórshavn at the end of the day.

Day 2

Kalsoy Island

Tuesday. Experience the rugged north on this day tour to Kalsoy Island and Borðoy Island, two of the most striking islands in the Faroe Islands.

The first stop is Klaksvík, the second largest town in the Faroe Islands and a place shaped by fishing. The harbour is usually full of vessels, and the town gives a good sense of what keeps these islands running.

From there you will take a calm 20 minute ferry crossing to Kalsoy Island and pass through several mountain tunnels, moving from one striking view to the next. You will head north on the narrow island.

The villages of Mikladalur and Trøllanes sit in spectacular spots, looking out toward the sheer basalt cliffs of neighbouring Kunoy Island. From Trøllanes, a walk (roughly 4.9 km / 3 mi round trip, with about 340 m / 1,115 ft of elevation gain, rated moderate) leads out to Kallur Lighthouse, where the views are nothing short of breathtaking. It's open, windswept country, the kind of place that's drawn landscape photographers for years, and film fans will recognise it from the James Bond movie No Time to Die.

You'll then head back toward Tórshavn, arriving about an hour after leaving Kalsoy Island. Drop off at your accommodation in Tórshavn.

Day 3

Vestmanna Sea Cliffs

Wednesday. Today, you will experience the most beloved cliffs in the archipelago. From the village Vestmanna, you will get close to lots and lots of birds. Get ready and wear clothing according to weather.

Exploring nature from sea adds something extra to your time in the Faroe Islands. You will have the unique opportunity to sail into sea caves, weather permitting.

Once picked up in Tórshavn, you will head north on Streymoy Island to the village Vestmanna. Then the tour guide will take you onboard a boat to the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs. The boat tour itself takes 1.5 hours or so. You will do some additional sightseeing on land after the exciting boat tour.

Pickup at 09:00. Drop off at 14:00.

Day 4

Sandoy Island

Thursday. Today, you will join a scenic day tour to Sandoy Island. This is a sandy islet with plenty of nature to explore and some of the best sights the island has to offer.

After pickup in Tórshavn in the morning, you'll take the undersea tunnel across to Sandoy Island and go sightseeing on this remote island.

Sandoy Island offers impressive coastal views, green hillsides, and colourful little houses tucked into beautiful settlements. Your guide will show you the best this mellow island has to offer, including a short hike to Líraberg Cliff (about 1.4 km / 0.9 mi round trip, with roughly 60 m of elevation gain, rated easy), where you'll take in some truly spectacular coastal views.

You'll be back on the capital island by the afternoon. It's a 30 minute drive from Sandoy Island to Streymoy Island, and the return trip offers lovely views of hilltop islands as you make your way back to Tórshavn.

Day 5

Streymoy Island & Eysturoy Island

Friday. Today, you will explore some of the remotely located villages on Streymoy island and Eysturoy island. This day tour is one of the highlights of your trip in the Faroe Islands.

Your tour guide will pick you up at 9am. This day tour includes the breathtaking settlement Saksun, the isolated village Tjørnuvík, and the beautiful village Gjógv.

Saksun is a must-see scenery in the Faroe Islands. You will visit this unbelievable village with its tidal lagoon. You will enjoy the white turfed-roofed church in Saksun that lies majestically above the tidal lagoon.

Another highlight is the amazing gorge in the village Gjógv. This village is one of the most sought-after sights in the Faroe Islands. The drive to Gjógv is mesmerising and will take you to unexplored sights such as the winding road above the village Funningur.

Tjørnuvík has some untouched qualities to it. There is a black sandy beach and a lovely view towards two sea-stacks out in the water.
