An excellent tour with Helle. An extremely personable and excellent guide. The conditions for our tour were not wonderful but we didn’t let that dampen our enjoyment. If anything it made us appreciate the way Faroese people live for much of the year. Of course the highlight was seeing the Puffins and being able to picture them.

What a great trip! The guides were lovely and shared a lot of interesting history about the Islands and the country. The number of birds on these islands are quite impressive and the captain was entertaining and informative as well. Also appreciated the numerous photo stops and the trip to the knitting shop in Vestmanna. Great day!

A really perfect experience! I did the visit of the Vestmanna cliffs with this company. The organization was really perfect: they picked me up at my hotel, drove me to Vestmanna and gave me a sandwich for the lunch on the boat. At the end of the visit, I had some time to look at the surroundings and they brought me back to my hotel.

This was a breathtaking experience! The cliffs were awe inspiring and a very calm sea allowed the captain to take the boat into narrow and scenic openings in the cliffs that I’m sure can’t be accessed when the weather isn’t so perfect. I fully expected the boat trip to be only focus of the day. However, the drive to Vestmanna was wonderful. Besides the beautiful scenery, I very much enjoyed all the stops we made and the walks we took through picturesque villages. I highly recommend this tour.

I highly recommend this tour! I had the best time exploring Mykines and seeing all of the wildlife on this beautiful island! The tour guides were very helpful in answering my questions and sharing their knowledge and experience of Mykines and the rest of the Faroe Islands, making this an unforgettable experience.

Sadly, the ferry wasn’t going due to weather. They emailed me the night before and offered two other tours in it’s place, but we already had another tour booked for the next day that was similar. So instead, we did a northern islands tour which was great and loved our guide.
Since this is a puffin-focused tour, in the future I would suggest that the alternative tours also try to include puffins somehow since we were pretty disappointed about it being cancelled. We did see puffins on other tours during our stay, so it is possible and would have appreciated having another option. Also I realize the ferry is dependent on the weather, but it would have been great if the tour company suggested another possible day later in the week for the tour as well.

The Faroe Islands are so beautiful they are difficult to describe in only a few words. The people are also lovely and very helpful. Kim was a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable. He had many options to offer depending on the weather of the day. I would highly recommend!
