Welcome to Faroe Islands

We highly recommend this tour to all those visiting the Faroe Islands for the first time. It was by far the best thing we spent our money on, during our trip at the start of Sept/2025. In fact we recommend it so much that we would also suggest that ideally you do this trip on the first day of your stay in Torshavn, because after this tour you will become so well-informed about the islands that you will be far better equipped to decide where you want to spend the rest of your days & money.

Annika is a fantastic guide! Because she is a native Faroese who has also lived 15-years of her adult life living in Europe and North America, she is able to related to what visitors need to know and understand about the islands, its cultural and socio-economic history, its art and what to see/eat/do on each of the major towns on the various islands. In other words, more than just the beauty of the places she took us to visit, her extremely entertaining and informative lectures were equally responsible for why we enjoyed spending the entire day with her. She is a very well-informed and intelligent guide - and after spending a day with her you will wish that all guides in all parts of the world were as good as her. (We are serious.)

Fantastic tour with Jens Petur and Elsa Maria sharing the sights and the stories of these wonderful islands. Hope to come back again soon and will definitely take another tour with them when I do.

This was an amazing day trip! Elsa Maria was fantastic, as was her brother. The are both so knowledgeable, friendly and made the day very enjoyable. This experience was well worth the price. The guide was local, knowledgeable and interesting. The climb was steep but doable and the views were spectacular. Highly recommend.

Our guide was very efficient, punctual, knowledgable, and friendly. Saw a lot with Jens during the day, had enough time to photograph and enjoy the scenery, learn about the local landscape and culture. Worth the money.
