This tour was exactly what I needed—pure nature and total peace. The places we visited were absolutely stunning, with breathtaking landscapes everywhere you looked. It felt like stepping into another world, so quiet and untouched. Just being surrounded by that kind of beauty was incredibly calming.

We had terrible terrible weather (rain and hail) on the day of our tour, even though we came in August which is supposed to be prime time. However our tour guide, Jens, was undaunted and we went on most of the hike. He was full of great information about the Faroes and he enjoyed seeing the sheep and the highland cows we encountered along the road. We saw amazing things and took amazing pictures. However I recommend wearing shoes or preferably boots with flexible soles and really good grips, and waterproof (not water resistant outerwear.. I slipped a few times in the mud! This is not a difficult hike in good weather probably but it will be a good brisk walk! Also a sweater and hat to wear underneath. You can take them off if you don’t need them.

This tour is amazing from top to bottom. Johan is an excellent tour guide and is so friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help visitors to the Faroe Islands. He shared with us dining recommendations, transportation options, and other things to do on the islands. And our tour itinerary was top-notch. Johan explained the background of each place we saw, and we were able to enjoy at our own pace. We also really enjoyed that the tour was a small group. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour one bit. If my brother and I return to the Faroe Islands, we will definitely take this tour again. Thank you, Johan!
