See as much as possible of this undiscovered corner of the world. With an experienced tour guide with a strong passion for seaside views and waterfalls, you are in good company.

Your life-long native Faroe Islands tour guide has the local knowledge and will make sure that you get the most out of your time around the Faroe Islands. So this is what awaits you.

You will be picked up in the morning at your accommodation in Tórshavn (including the suburbs Argir and Hoyvík) on Streymoy Island.  Just let the tour guide know where you are staying once you book the tour.

Now, you will hit the road and head straight to Eysturoy Island. Your tour guide will take you along windswept mountains and all the way to the natural gorge in Gjógv, where you can enjoy the crashing waves.  The peaceful village Gjógv is waiting for you to be discovered.

Now, you will head to the tranquil hideaway Saksun. This lovely little village is tucked away in lush grass on the westside of Streymoy island. The village faces an incredible view of a hidden tidal lagoon.

You will now glide silently along the well-kept roads in the Faroe Islands and stop by the captivating Fossá Waterfall. Enjoy the power of nature for a while as you stand next to the crashing water beside this waterfall that drops in two levels.

After this experience, you will head to the remote settlement Tjørnuvík nestled in unmatched natural beauty. Travellers say this hidden valley feels like reclaiming nature.

There will be a stop at a restaurant for lunch. You can buy yourself something at the restaurant (no restaurant visit on Tuesdays).

Now you will get to the famed Vágar Island. Drive along the breathtakingly beautiful shoreline to the turf-roofed village Bøur. The view that you will encounter is otherworldly. You will have a great view of Tindhólmur islet and the famous sea arch Drangarnir.

Your final stop is the spectacular natural wonder in the small village Gásadalur. Here you will experience Múlafossur waterfall perched on the very edge and from where it plunges into the ocean. The scenery is so naturally and is the perfect place to recharge in nature.

    Wow! Wow! This was a great tour. We were of a cruise ship docking at Runavik. They arranged to pick our group up there rather than meeting at the capitol. Our guide was perfect. He drove us everywhere logically and we basically saw the whole of the Faroe Island in one quick shore excursion. The in depth knowledge and beauty and service were impeccable. Our guide even got us to try some local meet he caught and cured himself (washed down by some local aquavit. This is a must do overview for the Faroe Islands.

    Wow, this was an incredible tour if you want to see it all in a day! Our local guide was very informative, happy to answer any questions and included little bits from her own life on the Islands which gave a personal touch. Plenty of photo stops, a bit rushed but that’s what you need to fit it all in! Highly recommend to anyone, couldn’t really fault it.

    This tour is just remarkable! Elsa Maria is a fantastic guide. Sassy and fun, someone who clearly loves her job, her clients and her land – the extraordinary Faroe Islands. We were lucky with really good weather but we’re sure that Elsa would make it fun and informative on any day. The landscape of the Faroes is mind blowing. Around every turn you gasp. This tour is highly recommended and was a highlight of our six weeks in Scandinavia. If you go to these incredible islands do this!

    I and my wife took this tour on 21June. This package has great value that allows you to see the view points of interest in the Faroe Islands in a very efficient manner. The number of participants is limited and the sightseeing can be enjoyed in a congenial atmosphere. Our guide, Elsa, was wonderful and caring. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.

    One of the best, if not THE BEST, tour which I have taken while visiting 175 countries in the last 60+ years. Both Peter and Elsa Maria were amazing. They combine extremely well, are very caring, efficient, intelligent, and courteous. You can see the sights yourself but their insight is invaluable and their company the main attraction.

    No wonder the reviews are so high. Maria and her brother are amazing guides, I was I could spend more time with them and talk, talk, talk. I have made many photos but the one Maria took of me “vomiting” the waterfall in Gasadalur is my absolute fav!!!
    I also tried Faroese liquor and dried meat produce.
    They both make sure you have everything you need and are very attentive. I will book more!

    It’s true to its description FANTASTIC !!!
    Maria our tour guide cum driver was a treasure trove of information about the Faroe Islands and being a Faroese herself shared some very interesting aspects of life on the island.The weather gods were kind and hence Maria was able to pack in a lot of sights. We had arrived into the island minus a piece of luggage… and she went out of her way to take us to the airport to enquire about our luggage… and in fact she was in touch with us till we got the same. She was just amazing 🤩 and big thank you for the wonderful stay at Faroe Islands ..Rekha 🙏

    All the reviews were not lying – you should definitely book this tour. It’s like a 7 hour fairy tale. Our guide, Jens Petir, was eager to share the beauty of his country despite the rainy weather. He told us many stories, suggested a superb place for lunch (‘Fiskastykkið’ in Sandavágur) and at the end of the tour he even offered each member of the group a piece of dried salted local food that he had prepared himself. Just remember to bring wind- and rainproof clothing as well as a camera – you’ll have memories to cherish forever!

    Our driver cum guide, Mr Peter, picked us up promptly from our hotel in Torshavn. He was so kind to stop us at numerous viewing points for photo opportunities. He gave us two almost two extra hours of his time and we were back in Torshavn at 5 plus in the evening. A very dedicated, patient and friendly guide.     Bardzo chciałam zobaczyć główne punkty na Wyspach Owczych i domyślam się, że zorganizowanie tak obszernej wycieczki w jeden dzień musi być trudne i większość czasu przesiedzimy w aucie, jednak mimo wszystko jestem trochę rozczarowana. Mieliśmy tylko dwa przystanki po 15 Minut, a podczas pozostałych przystanków mieliśmy tylko czas na szybkie zrobienie zdjęcia i z powrotem do auta. Jest to nieco rozczarowujące dla mnie, jednak tak jak wspomniałam na początku, domyślam się że organizacja musiała być bardzo sprawna, jako że wyspy mają bardzo wiele do zaoferowania. Pani przewodnik spisała się na medal! Wyczerpująco odpowiadała na nasze pytania, znała wiele ciekawostek, opowiadała bardzo ciekawie. Po drodze mieliśmy przystanek na lunch, gdzie z całego serca polecam zupę rybną. Widoki po drodze naprawdę niesamowite, jednak przygotujcie się na długie godziny spędzone w busie.

    On this tour, we discovered the best spots in Streymoy, Eysturoy, and Vágar islands, all in one day! This was the perfect day for someone like me with very limited time on the Faroe Islands.

    I was amazed by the outstanding Faroese fauna, flora, and landscapes that change every second due to the unique weather that varies constantly.

    Our tour guide, Elsa, made this experience even better by sharing interesting facts and perks about Faroese daily life. Additionally, I learned about Faroese ancient stories, myths, and beliefs. I’m inspired by the hope and tenacity that Faroese demonstrate every single day!

    All tour details were well planned, including the breaks that allowed us to enjoy the comforting feeling of a warm cup of tea on a spring day, accompanied by delicious snacks.

    And, to make it even better, Elsa took fantastic photos and videos during our tour and shared them afterwards.

    In conclusion, this tour exceeded all my expectations!

    If you have one day or a week here in the Faroes, this is a must do tour. If are able to do further travelling, this will lead you to the most beautiful areas there are to see based on you will see on the tour. With no car, and travelling alone, this tour was perfect in meeting all my needs. Being in a small group meant I could hear the conversation/ commentary and ask questions too. It was inclusive and fun. The guides took photos of us, showed us the best vantage points and even offered us some local delicacies. Seriously the best value for money and best tour I have ever been on. The hot drink at some of our stops was also welcome.
