Fall in love with the Faroe Islands, home to astonishing natural beauty. This legendary small-group tour will let you explore the best of the Faroe Islands in one day. See as much as possible of this undiscovered corner of the world. With an experienced tour guide with a strong passion for seaside views and waterfalls, you are in good company.

Your life-long native Faroe Islands tour guide has the local knowledge and will make sure that you get the most out of your time around the Faroe Islands. So this is what awaits you.

You will be picked up in the morning at your accommodation in Tórshavn (including the suburbs Argir and Hoyvík) on Streymoy Island.  Just let the tour guide know where you are staying once you book the tour.

Now, you will hit the road and head straight to Eysturoy Island. Your tour guide will take you along windswept mountains and all the way to the natural gorge in Gjógv, where you can enjoy the crashing waves.  The peaceful village Gjógv is waiting for you to be discovered.

Now, you will head to the tranquil hideaway Saksun. This lovely little village is tucked away in lush grass on the westside of Streymoy island. The village faces an incredible view of a hidden tidal lagoon.

You will now glide silently along the well-kept roads in the Faroe Islands and stop by the captivating Fossá Waterfall. Enjoy the power of nature for a while as you stand next to the crashing water beside this waterfall that drops in two levels.

After this experience, you will head to the remote settlement Tjørnuvík nestled in unmatched natural beauty. Travellers say this hidden valley feels like reclaiming nature.

There will be a stop at a restaurant for lunch. You can buy yourself something at the restaurant (no restaurant visit on Tuesdays).

Now you will get to the famed Vágar Island. Drive along the breathtakingly beautiful shoreline to the turf-roofed village Bøur. The view that you will encounter is otherworldly. You will have a great view of Tindhólmur islet and the famous sea arch Drangarnir.

Your final stop is the spectacular natural wonder in the small village Gásadalur. Here you will experience Múlafossur waterfall perched on the very edge and from where it plunges into the ocean. The scenery is so naturally and is the perfect place to recharge in nature.

He helped my daughter and I to walk around muddy steps or terrain, showed me where to see puffins in some of the places we visited, and was always ready to assist us with anything we needed.     The tour was great, Elsa Maria was my guide and was really nice, she also explained plenty of things and answered many of my questions and also provided a really useful link with all the pictures / videos taken on that day with the itinerary to know where we’ve been. The weather was a bit bad but despite that I enjoyed the tour very much as it did take us about everywhere on the Faroe Islands. I recommend this tour to everyone!

    Vi var i dag på jeres tur “See it all” med jeres søde guide Elsa Maria.
    Fra start til slut gav hun os og de andre gæster en fantastisk oplevelse og en tur med et meget højt service niveau.
    Hun viste og fortalte os en masse spændende ting om smukke Færøerne.
    Min datter på ti år var også meget begejstret for turen, hvilket i høj grad skyldtes Elsa Maria og hendes imødekommenhed og det hun fortalte.
    Selvom vi ikke havde booket frokost, så tilbød hun os at smage på nogle forskellige færøske specialiteter, hvilket hun ikke havde behøvet, men igen var hun super sød og tilbød min datter og mig noget også.
    Selvom vi gik over tiden (hvilket alle var enige i var okay), virkede hun på intet tidspunkt stresset og ville bare fortælle os så meget om smukke Færøerne.

    En KÆMPE tak for en fantastisk og uforglemmelig dag til Elsa Maria, fra Emilie og mig.

    We had a fantastic time with Elsa. Initially we thought we’d explore the islands ourselves because we didn’t want to sit on a large tourist bus, but not being able to get a hire car we decided to join Elsa’s tour. I’m so glad we did.
    Our tour was just Elsa and the two of us, so it felt more like a friend showing us around than an official tour. That said, the tour was clearly structured and Elsa made sure that we saw all the main tourist sights. She must have carefully coordinated her tour with the schedule of the larger busses as we had most of the sights to ourselves.
    With hindsight, having a guide was so much better than doing the driving ourselves as we didn’t have to focus on the roads and chatting to Elsa we learned so much more about the Faroes and its people than we otherwise would.
    Highly recommended.

    I took the ‘See It All’ Tour a couple of weeks ago and just wanted to say that it was really good. Elsa was an excellent guide and some of the places we visited were just stunning.

    What’s more this week the BBC have started showing the crime drama, Trom, and so to see all the places again on TV so soon after having visited makes me appreciate what we did even more.

The actual tour superseded my expectations significantly. The tour included sites from all over faroe islands in good time. It was relaxed and extremely enjoyable seeing all the incredible views and learning so much regarding the culture.

    Elsa was an excellent tour guide and I would like to thank her for making the tour extremely enjoyable and for the good coffee and snack breaks included which was not expected.

    We were a group of 5 plus the guide. We were picked up just after 8:30 from the hotel and spent a wonderful day visiting the highlights of the Faroes. The weather was not good but Elsa-Maria made the day. She is so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history of the Faroes. We visited many of the islands and experienced undersea tunnels, bridges and roads. Lunch was at a lovely cafe but Elsa-Maria also provided hot drinks and snacks throughout the day. I would thoroughly recommend this trip as it gives you a great chance to see a lot of the Faroes and get a taste of the variety and character of the islands.

    This tour is a wonderful way to kick start one’s introduction to the islands. Maria, and her brother, Jens Piter, dedicated themselves to showing us a large portion of the Faroes. At the end of the day, which extended beyond the 7 hours (which we all agreed to), Maria presented us with photos from the day. I highly recommend it.
    The tour has an option for lunch. If you choose this option, please help Maria by instructing her on any dietary needs well in advance so she can make your trip perfect.

    We loved this excursion. I was amazed at how much of the Faroe Islands we were able to see, and Elsa Marie gave us wonderful background on her country and the locations we visited. After two weeks in Iceland, we thought we had seen all the natural Northern beauty we needed. But the Faroe Islands blew us away, one spectacular vista after another. We did not have a lot of time for sightseeing, and this trip was the perfect way to see an amazing breadth of the Islands that are connected by road to Torshavn.

    I had a fantastic day with the brother of Elsa Maria, Jens Petir. He was on tour the whole day with 4 ladies from 4 different nationalities and he was great! His stories and humor made it such a pleasant day. Also we were not in a hurry, so he really took the time. We had lunch in Restaurant Fiskastykkio, take the fish soup and try pastry!
    The weather was amazing making the trip one not to forget! Faroe Islands are so beautiful!
    Tip: before you start the trip, check if a lunch is foreseen. In my communication via email the lunch was agreed. But our full program made that Jens might had forgotten about it. When I asked him for a lunch stop, because I did not bring anything with me he immediately took us to the fantastic restaurant mentioned earlier.

    I did this tour on May 18th and it was a fantastic experience! The weather was pretty wet and wild throughout but our guide Elsa made sure that this didn’t dampen our spirits.

    She took us to some incredible places and provided a lot of interesting history on the locations too. A very funny character! The other people are met on the door all were lovely aswell. Just a great day 🙂
