See as much as possible of this undiscovered corner of the world. With an experienced tour guide with a strong passion for seaside views and waterfalls, you are in good company.

Your life-long native Faroe Islands tour guide has the local knowledge and will make sure that you get the most out of your time around the Faroe Islands. So this is what awaits you.

You will be picked up in the morning at your accommodation in Tórshavn (including the suburbs Argir and Hoyvík) on Streymoy Island.  Just let the tour guide know where you are staying once you book the tour.

Now, you will hit the road and head straight to Eysturoy Island. Your tour guide will take you along windswept mountains and all the way to the natural gorge in Gjógv, where you can enjoy the crashing waves.  The peaceful village Gjógv is waiting for you to be discovered.

Now, you will head to the tranquil hideaway Saksun. This lovely little village is tucked away in lush grass on the westside of Streymoy island. The village faces an incredible view of a hidden tidal lagoon.

You will now glide silently along the well-kept roads in the Faroe Islands and stop by the captivating Fossá Waterfall. Enjoy the power of nature for a while as you stand next to the crashing water beside this waterfall that drops in two levels.

After this experience, you will head to the remote settlement Tjørnuvík nestled in unmatched natural beauty. Travellers say this hidden valley feels like reclaiming nature.

There will be a stop at a restaurant for lunch. You can buy yourself something at the restaurant (no restaurant visit on Tuesdays).

Now you will get to the famed Vágar Island. Drive along the breathtakingly beautiful shoreline to the turf-roofed village Bøur. The view that you will encounter is otherworldly. You will have a great view of Tindhólmur islet and the famous sea arch Drangarnir.

Your final stop is the spectacular natural wonder in the small village Gásadalur. Here you will experience Múlafossur waterfall perched on the very edge and from where it plunges into the ocean. The scenery is so naturally and is the perfect place to recharge in nature.

    It was a last minute booking. My friend and I had really enjoyed the tour. It made our stay in Faroe Islands more valuable. Elsa Maria was such a fantastic, great, professional and kind tour guide. I really recommend taking this tour if you are in a short vacation to the islands (our case). Although the tour covers the main highlights mentioned in the provided route, Maria made many precious stops to take photos from panoramic views throughout the trip which exactly I was looking for. Thanks for making this tour very memorable.

    The local guide is humorous and open to answer anything about Faroe Islands. You can just say if you are interested in any specific thing and they will accommodate to your request! We also got the chance to try typical Faroese food.

    This tour is amazing and Elsa is one of the most amazing people I’ve met. I only had a short period of time on the Faroe Islands and wanted to see it all…this was the best way to go and I don’t regret it. Elsa goes above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. Showing many amazing part of the islands and also tells her story of growing up on Faroe. On top of that she took us to the most amazing lunch spot. So delicious. I would totally do this again and beyond highly recommend to anyone. Elsa knows her shit and is an amazing person ❤️

    My wife & I had a wonderful day (June 10th) with Elsa Maria & two other travelers. The tour was absolutely fantastic, as we made our way from north to south on the three largest islands. We couldn’t believe how much we were able to see in just 1 day. Plus Elsa Maria took us to some of the smaller villages on the islands – often times, we were the only tourists there because other companies were simply hitting all of the most popular destinations. We loved that Elsa Maria was local too. We learned so much history of the islands during the tour, as well as what current issues the Faroe Islands are facing. My wife loved that Elsa Maria was able to point to a house and say “That’s where my grandmother” grew up! Also, transportation was great – she picked us up at our hotel & dropped us off at the end of the day. Since she was driving, that meant that I was free to take in the scenery & snap pictures. And she even took wonderful photos herself throughout the tour and shared them with our group afterwards. 5-stars. Highly recommend!

    I learnt a lot and I laughed a lot! Elsa Marie was a perfect guide with an absolutely brilliant sense of humour and also so much knowledge of these wonderful islands. The weather was perfect (so lucky with this!), the scenery was breathtaking from start to finish, the candy shared on the trip was lovely, the lunch stop was memorable…..all in all it was a perfect way to see so much in one day. Cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Thank you Elsa Marie!!!!

    Absolutely brilliant tour. Guide Elsa Marie (sorry if spelling incorrect) is great fun and very informative. We got to see so many highlights that would have taken us days on our own. Really well prepared itinerary. Free pick up was great. Regular stops at points of interest. Tea, coffee, bottled water and little treats provided. Lunch venue was so interesting, great views and lovely food ( including vegetarian), the rhubarb juice was my favourite. Cultural and historical chats along the way with a special stop for an explanation about local food and to taste traditional meat if you wish ( I just doubled up on the lollies )
    Guide was flexible and asked if we had any special interests she could work in for us.
    Totally recommend. Excellent value.

    My friend and I had the pleasure of being on the 7 hour ‘See it All’ tour of the Faroe Islands with Elsa Maria. She picked us up promptly at our airbnb in Torshavn and we then went to pick up the others in our party (a family from the States and a man from Brazil). Her first question to us was, do you need to be back by a certain time? I knew then that it was going to be a thorough tour.

    To say that Elsa Maria is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide of the Faroe Islands is the supreme understatement. She guided us on a tour of her homeland with zeal and by the end of our nearly 9 hours with her (far more than the 7 advertised) we had seen and done absolutely everything that one could possibly see and do in a single day. We made frequent stops for pictures, bathroom breaks or coffee, and by the end of the day I’d taken literally hundreds of pictures of the most incredible variety of landscapes I’d ever encountered in a single day. If you have just a couple days in the Faroes, do yourself a favor and book this tour! But if you have more time than that, also do yourself a favor and book this tour! You can’t possibly get a better overview of the islands and you’ll know where you want to go back and spend more time. We loved the personal insights and stories that Elsa Maria interspersed in with standard tourguide narrative. This was like going to visit your favorite aunt–who happens to be a tour guide. There’s a reason she has so many positive online reviews.

    En fantastisk dag med en fantastisk guide – Elas Maria. Solen skinte fra morgen til kveld. (Vi var heldig!!) Rundturen på 250 km. med utallige stop for sightseeing /foto underveis i tettsted og på utkikkspunkter, var som en eventyr reise for en førstegangsbesøkende. Guiden elsker sin jobb og er meget sosial og god til å formidle kunnskap på alle områder om Færøyene. Jeg dro på egenhånd til Færøyene, hadde en dag til disposisjon og kunne aldri ha fått en bedre dag på Færøyene enn gjennom dette opplegget. I tillegg behagelig transport og nydelig servering underveis. TAKK for uforglemmelig dag!!

    Well, the reviews are all true… Elsa Maria is AMAZING. She is also humble and will hate reading this, but it’s true. We all love you Elsa Maria!

    Whether you are in the Faroes for a long while or a short time, I definitely recommend this tour because you see and learn so much. Elsa is funny, kind, and incredibly efficient. She made sure we went to every beautiful spot and she was so helpful with taking photos (I’m a solo female traveler, so I was very grateful)! I learned so much about the Faroe Islands and the history of people who live here. I was genuinely sad when this tour ended.

    I am not typically a “tour” person, but I promise you won’t regret this one. Not only was every location beautiful, the local place we stopped for lunch was absolutely delicious.

    I am looking forward to returning to the Faroe Islands someday and I would probably do this tour again!

    Vi åkte på turen ’See it all’. Vi var en grupp på 8 personer från olika länder. Trevligt möte. En fantastiskt bra guide som verkligen var engagerad och kunnig. Vi besökte många fina platser.Han hade mycket intressanta historier och anekdoter samt delade med sig av livet som Färöing.Underbara naturupplevelser med både sol, vind och regn. Färöarna är precis så vackert som alla berättar om. Härligt med alla får och små lamm. Lyckades också få en glimt av Lunnefåglar genom kikare. Vill varmt rekommendera denna tur.

    As a solo traveller, I wanted to explore and experience as much of the island as possible and this particular tour is an absolute must and for me and it was worth it! No sooner had I booked tours, I received email contact from Elsa confirming all the details as to where to meet and at what time, as well as important details and numbers of the tour guides.

    For this particular tour, Jens Petir met me at Torshavn bus station (as scheduled) and from there, we began our tour around all the attractions and landmarks as specified in the itinerary.  Jens was lovely and very knowledgeable about the areas. He also kindly shared some of his own personal and fascinating stories! There was absolutely no rush with this tour. What I appreciated the most was that we spent time walking and hiking around the various attractions and there was plenty of opportunities to take pictures of some truly beautiful and breathtaking landscapes, mountains and waterfalls! For me, it truly was a remarkable and memorable trip and one that I am so glad I booked. This particular tour is a must if you want to get an overall feel of the islands, locations and attractions and especially if you were considering on planning another adventure in another location on the Faroe Island. After the tour, Jens also very kindly dropped me back off to my accommodation. Thank you Jens!

    I had an absolutely lovely time on this tour with Elsa Maria, who was extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She shared interesting facts about every landmark/building we passed and though the tour was running late by more than an hour (we had a full car), she still made sure we were able to see every attraction.     Vores udflugt med Elsa Maria var højdepunktet på vores tur til Færøerne. Elsa Maria kørte, fortalte og guidede, så vi både så meget mere og fik meget mere at vide, end hvis vi bare selv havde kørt rundt. Elsa Maria er tydeligvis meget stolt af sit land, og det får gæsterne glæde af i form af hendes engagement. Og så havde hun medbragt te, kaffe og ikke mindst færøsk grindehval og snaps, så vi alle kunne få en smagsprøve på færøske specialiteter. Jeg nød især turen, fordi jeg selv kørte de andre dage, og så ser man altså ikke nær så meget, når man som jeg ikke er vant til at køre i bjerge og fjelde.     Planning a journey to a distant location is always filled with great anticipation.
    Researching the towns and adventures to do in a short amount of time comes with the question – have I omitted anything on my ‘wish list’.
    A 7 hour guided mini bus tour seemed the best option to ensure I did not miss anything.
    Elsa as a tour guide did not disappoint.
    A native of Torshavn, she filled the day with knowledge, laughs and fun. We all left at the end of the tour as friends – albeit a little weary.
    Plenty of photographic opportunities, a wonderful lunch and some soft fog to dim the light. But what would Faroe be without some rain and fog?
    Need a recommendation? – do the tour and enjoy the wonders of Faroe – and Elsa!

    Es war eine sehr informative Tour, auf der wir viele Orte gesehen haben. Wir wurden nicht nur mit Informationen sondern auch mit Kaffee, Keksen, Süßigkeiten und Wasser versorgt. Gegen Mittag haben wir eine kurze Essenspause eingelegt. Da wir zwei Personen mit einem Anschlusstermin in der Gruppe hatten, mussten wir uns oft beeilen. Wir hätten uns etwas mehr Ruhe gwünscht und den ein oder anderen Fotostopp mehr.
    Ein paar Tage nach der Tour bekamen wir noch einen Link zu einer Fotosammlung und einem Plan unserer Tour zugesandt.

    We loved this 7 hour day tour with Elsa Maria as our guide. We booked this tour in order to get a feel for the islands before we started a 7 day photography tour. We are so glad we did this. Elsa Maria is a truly professional guide who loves her job and it shows every minute you are with her. The day started with her picking us up on time. She has such positive energy and passion for what she does. We learned so much from her about the Islands, how things are governed, how things are run, history and all her personal stories woven into the things she told us. We had really really bad weather, with snow, sleet, rain, fog, bad roads and low visibility. This did not deter Elsa Maria or stop her from showing us all the interesting locations on her tour. She goes above and beyond with her customer service, providing surprise snacks and insights into life on the Islands. Being photographers she gave us a little extra time when we asked to get the images we wanted. We are so happy and delighted to have chosen her tour and feel richer for having met her. We would recommend this as must do tour if you want to learn about The Faroe Islands and have a good time wile you are at it.

    I recently went on a tour around the Faroe Islands with Elsa Maria, and it was an unforgettable experience! While the tour was quite exhausting, it was definitely worth spending the day. We visited so many beautiful places, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. From towering cliffs to stunning waterfalls, we saw it all. Elsa Maria is an excellent guide, and her knowledge of the area and its history added an extra layer of depth to the excursion. She was friendly, approachable, and made sure that everyone was having a good time.

    We have just completed the 7hour “See it all” Faroe Islands tour with Elsa Marie. Elsa gave my sister and I such a wonderful and memorable day. She was knowledgable about all the places we visited. Her commentary was personal and interesting. The tour was extensive and gave us a real taste of Faroe. She gave us the opportunity to have a delicious lunch at Fiska Stykkio. The food was amazing.
    We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a good overview of the significant sights.
