See some of the most untouched settlements in the Faroe Islands in one day. This fully guided tour departs from the capital Tórshavn from where you will head north to amazing sights.
In the remote village Tjørnuvík you will find several charming turf-roofed houses and you will have a great with towards Risin og Kellingin - the Giant & his Wife. Tjørnuvík is a great village to visit during the summer as well as in the winter. You can see the local people living their traditional farming life in the summer. Autumn and wintertime offers you hillsides often covered in snow and waves crash very dramatic against the sandy beach.
On this tour you will also visit the northernmost village in the Faroe Islands with stunning natural surroundings. The locals in Viðareiði love their village and you might do as well when you see Viðareiði with your own eyes. The population in Viðareiði is about 600 inhabitants. They have lived a traditional, unobtrusive, and isolated life for hundreds of years. Now the village is connected to the mainland with tunnels and roads. This is a must-see village in the Faroe Islands.
Klaksvík is the second largest town in the Faroe Islands and is very much influenced by the fishing culture. You will have a look at Klaksvík on this tour. From Klaksvík, you will have a great view towards the soaring Kunoyarnakki mountain on the nearby island Kunoy. Kunoyarnakki looks like a natural pyramide when seen from the town Klaksvík.
You will be picked up for this tour in the morning at your hotel in Tórshavn or at the Tórshavn Bus Terminal (Eystara Bryggja). At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off in Tórshavn again.

A great tour with several stops to walk and enjoy the fabulous views. By having a local guide, we were able to see much more than we could have on our own – and learn a lot too. We would highly recommend this tour!

An incredibly comprehensive tour, taking you as far as possible by road in the Faeroe Islands. The villages of Tjørnuvik, Gjogv and Vidareidi are all excellent photo stops and the scenery on the drives in between was stunning. We were well looked after by our minibus driver and guide and had a fish an chips lunch at Klaksvik.

The tour didn’t deliver the full itinerary as booked – when asked our guide Berger, he mentioned we were doing the winter program and not covering all the stops as described in the voucher I received, we were several passengers with this issue! We had a few stops but on
The + we enjoyed a tasty lunch included!
This issue appeared to be with the final company making schedule changes rather than Guide to Faroes booking agent.

What an epic tour! The native guide was extremly knowledgeable. He spoke English very well. In a comfortable van he safely navigated the narrow roads of the island. We drove on stunning roads, and he took me to very scenic spots up north. I’m very happy with the tour and would booking it again without hesitation. I can highly recommend this tour. It was an amzing day.
