We had a great experience.
So much fun hiking and seeing the puffins on mykines.
The captain and his red-headed helper were very friendly and Informative.
Finding the captain in the morning was difficult and most of the group was very late because the instructions were unclear on where to meet.
We ended up leaving the marina late and getting picked up late from the island. (Which was no big deal to us, but I could see it being an issue to other travelers in the future).
Thanks so much for a great experience in an unforgettable place.

The shuttle was great and Mykinnes was beautiful. In fact, riding the rib out with the views and puffin spotting alone was worth the trip. Really enjoyed. If I had one negative it was perhaps that the actual time on Mykinnes itself could have been shortened. With the western part closed off we found we’d done a full walking tour and had time for rest and snacks etc. but still with time spent waiting around at the end. Perhaps 3 hours would be a perfect window, though once the rest of the island opens up again that might not be the case.
A small point though and aside from this it was definitely a highlight of my trip to the Faroes.

We are already planning our return to the Faroe Islands for next summer. We chose the rib boat to Mykines as we knew that the ferry could be cancelled if the winds were high as happened to my son on a previous visit. The ride was more than exciting as the sea swells were high but we always felt safe. There was a passenger with some mobility issues on our trip and the staff treated him with respect and assistance. We were impressed. We will do that trip again.

Our trip to Mykines went very well, the reception and the boat were perfect.
On the other hand, considering the already high price of the boat, we were really surprised and disappointed to have to pay again to be able to go on the paths that were not all open (lighthouse path closed).
In the ideal it would be necessary that all is included in the price, we would have less the impression to be taken for « pigeon ».
Thank you, it was a very nice discovery.

We were so fortunate to book an excursion with Mykines Shuttle Boat (MSB). We planned on taking the ferry, but we’re unable to book a return trip for the same day. After researching other options, we found and booked MSB without any problems. After taking this trip with MSB, suiting up and riding in the open boat so closely through and by natural land formations on shore and seeing so many puffins and other birds out on the water and shore, we were so glad that we were in a smaller boat. The crew was so accommodating and helpful throughout our time out and back. We also loved that we were able to explore Mykines before the larger group from the ferry arrived. We would most definitely travel with MSB again! Thank you for an amazing experience.

Det var en vidunderlig udflugt for mig! Tusind tak 🙂 Meget søde to mænd, der sejlede os.

I would give your shuttle a 5 or 6 out of 10.
Finding your boat was a challenge. When arriving to park, a sign points us to the ferry. Confusing.
Did not realize it was an open air ride. Or that we’d want or need an insulating jump suit.
Did not realize it was a 5 hour drop off, thought it 2 was 2-3 hours.
Drop off was awkward, trying to master vertical metal rungs in concrete.
No instructions from crew on what to do or see or where to hike, or that we would be asked to pay $250 DKK to hike on the island.
You have lots of room for improvement.

Men fin, fin tur,

All in all, we had a great experience. The boat ride was beautiful and at the same time eventful.
The crew was nice, and instructions were clear.
We were a bit confused about the specific pick-up location at the harbor so we came 5-10 min late and had to call you to get directions.
There were also others who also thought that the boat was was on the other side of the harbor where there is a pier mentioning mykines.
It was a bit pricey but we think it was very much worth it.

I don’t recommend this boat tour. We had fairly smooth seas on the day we went, and yet we ended up hurting our backs as the rigid inflatable boat crashed down hard after going over waves. We also ended up feeling seasick. We had hoped there would be some nature interpretation and slowing down to see birds as we passed (more of a birdwatching tour), but instead it was a high speed, rough ride to get the Mykines Island, with no nature interpretation. We paid extra to take the ferry home, and not use our ride back on this boat. The ferry was much nicer! Mykines itself was really nice with a cute cafe, and lots of puffins in the colony (which you need to hike up to, and do need to pay for).

Unfortunately the waves were forecasted to be too rough to get over to Mykines and this had to be cancelled. We were given the option of refund or take part in a different opportunity. One might see this as a big disappointment but the crew went above and beyond to give us a tour of the Vagar coastline. We got to see huge cliffs, coves, and the biggest oceanside cave on Vagar. We even managed to spot a puffin in mid September in the ocean! All in all the crew gave us a great experience to make up for the rough seas and stopped several times to share facts and history about the island. The sign is a bit confusing (says ferry is 10 minute walk away from where we met — although it was hard to miss the big group of people forming up for the tour). Wear waterproof trousers or bring something to sit on, the seats can get wet (cushioned) so just be ready for that. All around great experience!

Tour was really great. We were there in September and were even able to spot some puffins (mostly flying ones). And the Mykines island itself was really nice. Like all the Faroe Islands to be honest. All hikes here are breathtaking! And the boat ride itself was a fun experience, I laughed like a child when we jumped on the waves. Actually after getting back from the Mykines trip, I decided to buy another trip for the next day – Drangarnir one.

Great boat ride and very friendly and helpful crew. Getting of the boat at Mykines harbour was an adventure in itself. Unfortunately during our visit to Mykines we saw only one puffin on land and some at sea but there were many other birds to be seen (fulmar, kittiwake, gannet, etc.).
Only bad thing about visiting Mykines is the outrageous 400 DKK p.p. access fee the locals charge!
Apart from that we enjoyed our visit and boat ride very much.

It’s worth to take a trip to Mykines Island – to hike or try to see puffins. But the boat driver (on the way Sorvagur-Mykines) was reckless, driving the boat straight on waves making the boat jump and land on a flat surface of water which was really painful and dangerous. I left the boat with a headache and a hurt backbone.
The ride back (Mykines-Sorvagur) was with the other driver and was great and smooth.

It might be helpful to be state that the Mykines trip only includes the boat ride there and that guests will be expected to pay an additional fee to walk on the grounds. The locals taking credit card payments did not really make it clear how much they were charging per person and I only saw later on my CC statement that it was over $200. It wasn’t a problem it just would have been helpful to know ahead. Thank you again. We all hope to return soon.

The boat ride was an experience in itself. It is like a fast speedboat and takes about 20-30mins. Yes, its expensive but you will reach the island in between the public ferrys which takes 80 pax. The time difference allowed us to have an unhurried time on the Mykines island which is filled with thousands of puffins.
They provide a waterproof coveralls and life jacket. It provides insulation from the wind and water (splashes from the boat) but your hands, head and feet wont be covered so be adequately prepared. The boat also sailed past dragnarir but it was a quick one so if you want a slow boat ride that lets you take alot of photos, take the other tours!
After reaching the island, you have to pay an entrance fee which is not included in the boat ride. We think the price is steep but worth it considering we got very up close to the puffins and had many nice photos. You cant walk all the way to the lighthouse but can walk to approx 100m before that and the view is still as nice. There was nothing much to do in the village and the cafe didnt seem to be open so bring your own food. Overall, we enjoyed the trip.

We booked the Mykines shuttle boat tour and upon arrival we were kitted out with big weatherproof suits which we needed for the speedboat to the island. On the way we stopped and sailed through Dragnamir sea arch. The ride was a little bumpy with the odd bit of spray but it was fun and fast. On the island we had three hours to look round. There is a hiking fee to pay which seems to change by the day. At 1pm we all donned our suits again and got back on the boat. On the way back we visited Mulafossur waterfall. We arrived back about 2pm. The two crew on the boat were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English.
If you book this tour then there’s probably no need to book the 1 hour Dragnamir tour offered by the same company as you see these on this tour too. As we had booked that, they let us cancel the second tour, which was great as then we had time to visit somewhere else.
Very professional throughout, felt perfectly safe, and even saw a few puffins !

Amazing experience… if you like adrenaline experiences. A fast boat shuttle to the island of Mykines. The crew is funny and well trained. Avoid it if you suffer from seasickness, if you are elderly or have small children, if you are afraid of water or high speed (in these cases the ferry is better for you), if instead you love the air in your hair and flying on the waves… don’t miss this boat shuttle!

The night before our ride we got a message cancelling the shuttle to Mykines due to high swells on the islands. In the email we were given an alternative to come and do another tour on the water as we had already paid up.
The tour was a one hour ride to the waterfalls, Dranganir and we saw lots and lots of Puffins. The crew was well informed and had quite a bit to tell us. I highly recommend that tour because unless you plan to do the full trek once on Mykines this one is more fun and you don’t have to give your whole day to it. Also who doesn’t love a speedboat over a ferry.

Fabulous tour. Extreme winds and rain prevented us from getting to Mykines, sadly, but the Guide to Faroe Islands team made up for it by coming out despite the weather and taking us for a tour of the bay. Our guide provided historic and geologic details coupled with fabulous storytelling. And despite the weather conditions and lateness in puffin season, we even managed to view numbers of these delightful and intrepid little seafaring birds. This team will keep you safe and make your day bright. Highly recommend!!!

It was great, quick ride to the island via speed boat which can get bumpy at times. Also, you can pre-pay for the mandatory guide fee once on the island ahead of time and it’ll save you 100 DKK. Fee is 500 DKK per person once on the island, so be aware of that first. Puffin sightings are largely based on temperature (in addition to time of year). Last week, people saw about 3 puffins during their tour. Today (May 14) we saw hundreds at least! It was about 12 degrees C.

The boat ride and view were great. Unfortunately the weather was cold, wet, and rainy constantly. The website says windproof jacket and hiking boots which I’m sure would be fine on dry days. For the rainy days a full on rain/windproof suit is preferred. If you are interested keep in mind the weather, an expensive watertight suit might be required. Also 2.5 hours is a little long and for the price I would recommend another tour.

Fabulous experience, without any doubt. Experienced captain and crew member, who brought us right to the end of what otherwise would have been a long hike. Ultrafast and comfortable boat. The price includes the (expensive) walking permit, so the price of the boat trip itself was actually very fair. We were offered an earlier pick-up in case of bad weather, but were so lucky to have a wonderful sunshine and no wind. We had the place to ourselves, and enjoyed every minute of the 2.5 hours we spent there.

I booked very late (one day before) and I could join a nice Belgian family. The drive with the boat took approx. 10 minutes and the landing was very safe.
We had a perfect day, nice weather, no wind and no tourists at the site😊. The scenery was one oft he greatest I’ve ever seen in my life and I enjoyed it so much.
Dark green gras, impressive cliffs and Drangarnir Sea Arch with ist surroundings. The sea was calm and clear and I took so many pictures. I’ve even two seals, puffins and many other seabirds. The boat was late (the captain announced this before) and therefore we had only less time to drive around the Sea Arch.
The three and a half hours were unforgettable and I was so happy I booked the tour. We had a very friendly and helpful crew. Thanks a lot!!
However it is quite expensive (with entrance to the national park) for me it was worth the money.
Thank you for this great trip and I really recommend it to all people they like this kind of scenery.

Boottrip was very good. A “drive thru” the arch before we were dropped on land. Schipper asked us the day before if we wanted to postphone the trip a day, because of the weather (totally clouded in the mist, no view).
The day after we managed to see something. Unfortunatly some low clouds made it not posible to see much of the second seastack, althou some good pics in the mist.
With this trip you are free to roam the cliffs above and have time to take pictures. Heard from someone else we meat that was not the case on the guided tour over land.
Organizing people were very friendly and helpfull.

This was the most incredible tour during my time here!! It was so special to explore Drangarnir on my own, and the guides are incredibly nice. Even though it was a little rainy, walking around in the quiet amongst stunning landscapes, birds, and sheep was well worth it!

I had a great experience! Luckily the weather was good in that day, we even got a little glimpse of the sun 😉 We sailed to the end of the fjord and had 2 hours to wander around, which is enough, I didn’t feel like I needed more.
Both crew members were pleasant and provided great service.
I recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see Drangarnir.

Fantastic tour guide (both on the boat and when on land by the Drangarnir arch – two different people), quite a lot of free time on land and the terrain is great for hiking – fantastic views and if the weather cooperates (we had beautiful sunny weather, mid-July) you’re in for a treat and a half!
I love a good RHIB ride so the boat ride was a nice plus as well – quite short, but nice! The only real gripe I have is that it definitely isn’t the cheapest of tours for the time it takes (only reason it’s a 4/5 rather than 5/5). Then again, it’s the islands and prices are what they are after all. I felt I got value for my money, and it was nice with the smaller groups of people (2 boats, so 2×12 people on land at the same time).
Even with the price, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and take the tour again.

Overall a good experience. It was a quick boat ride to the drop off spot. Once you reach land you need to climb over slippery rocks to get to the grassy area. The hikes to the various viewing areas are steep and slippery in wet weather. There was an elderly couple on our tour who had significant difficulty getting on/off the boat and walking on land, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. The weather was rainy when we went so the views of the sea stacks were sometimes shrouded by low clouds/fog. Once dropped off we had 1.5 hrs to take photos and walk around, which was plenty of time. The price is a bit steep for what is basically a boat ride. But since the alternative to get to see the sea stacks was a long difficult hike, we chose to do it.

Overall a very good experience. It was a quick boat ride to the drop off spot, take your waterproofs as the boat is not covered! Once you reach land you need to climb over slippery rocks to get to the grassy area. The hikes to the various viewing areas are steep and slippery in wet weather. The views of the sea stacks were great. We 3 are droners and were told it was not possible to drone due to nesting birds which of course we fully understood. We will have to return out of bird season for those iconic drone shots! Once dropped off we had 1.5 hrs to take photos and walk around, which was plenty of time. The price is a bit steep for what is basically a boat ride .

I actually wanted to do the hike to Drangarnir, but I was waiting for a more concrete weather forecast and ultimately the spots filled up. It was a nice sunny morning when I did the tour. This boat tour when I originally researched it was $350 USD, which I thought was much too expensive, but at $144 USD I opted for this as an alternative to the hike. I booked the same morning of the ride and while still pricey it was a really cool experience. The time savings over the hike was worth it to me (giving me ~4 hrs back to my day to go see other things) and the ~1.5 hrs given on-land to go around the end of the peninsula was juuussst enough time to take pictures from various angles etc (from a photographer’s perspective, anyways). The total time from port-to-port was about 2 hours. I think another 30 minutes on-land would have been perfect, or alternatively, a loop in the boat around the far side of Tindhólmur would be interesting. Anyways, the boat ride was a cool experience, including going through the “arch” and around the sea stacks, before going on land. Be warned that they leave promptly at departure time (I think they were actually leaving a few minutes early, I got to the boat maybe 5 minutes early after parking and gathering my things, and was the last on the boat, which was about to leave!), so I’d suggest to arrive at least 15-20 mins early. Overall I’d do it again and would recommend at the current price point.

What a spectacular place! This is essentially a ride to get to Drangarnir. They boat you over and drop you off for a bit and then pick you up. It was beautiful! The shore has no dock or man made spot for the boat to drop people off so that can be slippery and we were a little surprised when the boat just rammed into the rocks and let us off. Plenty of time to hike around and take photos and videos to your hearts delight.

We enjoyed our boat tour to the Drangarnir sea stacks! The weather was looking poor for our original date, so the tour guide reached out to reschedule us which we appreciated. We ended up with amazing weather that day (the best of our entire trip!) and had a fantastic time exploring. The boat ride is quick and we get up close to the sea stacks before docking. It is quite slippery when you land, so bring good shoes! A short steep climb to amazing views. We packed some snacks and enjoyed our time exploring- it sure beats a 5-6 hour hike! Would recommend! 🙂

A highlight on our trip! The initial boat ride was short and targeted to get us quickly on land where we were free to walk about the peninsula and take in the spectacular views of islands Tindhólmur and Drangarnir, the main target of the outing. You can stay on safer, even ground or you can explore the higher grounds as long as you have sturdy footwear. The views from higher up, towards the south-facing plunging cliffs were also amazing! The grand finale came, fittingly, at the end: After the boats picked us up, they sailed around and through Drangarnir, spoiling us with breathtaking new angles of the dramatic cliffs! Highest recommendations.

Best experience on the Faroe Islands! I booked this boat trip pretty last minute on my final day and was not disappointed. You see so much more than the Drangarnir – although that was definitely a highlight. The guides were charismatic and informative and provided the best afternoon journey I could’ve asked for. The 1 hour boat trip to Drangarnir was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to the Faroe Islands. I have been wanting to visit for over 10 years and this was the last thing I did after a 10 day trip. It was the absolute best way to say goodbye. I will also state that I didnt mean to take this boat trip as I had wanted to do the hike to Drangarnir…but It didn’t work out and I’m so glad I ended up doing this instead.
I had arrived an hour early, carrying my travel packs, as I had been dropped off by the bus (I had been traveling the entire country by bus), and the first amazing boat captain arrived and welcomed me. He extremely generously offered me coffee while he had his own and we waited in the brisk weather for the tour. (Please don’t expect this of him in the future, it was clearly just a very thoughtful gesture since I had been waiting in the cold rain. I mention it because i was drenched to the bone and very cold and he couldve just let me sit there but instead went the extra mile). The second boat captain arrived, just as charming as the first, and along with guests, we all climbed into our suits that they give us to keep us as warm and dry as possible. The weather was cloudy rainy…but it looked gorgeous with the landscape. I felt very warm and safe as we took off.
Let me just say that the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Maybe even more so due to the rainy weather. We saw the best views of the landscapes, the waterfalls, and hundreds of puffins….but our captains stories made it even better. The ocean was rough but our captain maneuvered it very skillfully and made me feel very safe. I was shooting photography the entire time, and he maneuvered the boat perfectly to line up with all the best shots of the landscape. He pointed out all the wildlife, and gave us lots of history. It was without a doubt, in one word, perfect. You know those moments when you go into nature and just smile ear to ear and feel so happy and just at peace? This was one of those experiences.
To absolutely put a cherry on top, I asked my captain if he had a number for a taxi, since my flight left less than 2 hours from when we would be getting back to shore and had to hurry 5 min down the road to the airport……and he offered instead for the other captain to drop me off there. They had already done SO MUCH to make it the absolute best experience….and just took it to the next level.
All of the faroese people I have met during my trip have been generous, so kind, so wonderful. And honestly these two men that were running the boat tours today were the absolute embodiment of this. I wish I could mention their names but my spelling of how faroese sounds….I would end up ruining it.
So let me just wrap this up by saying. The boat trip itself = absolutely stunningly beautiful. The boat captains = absolutely awesome gentleman. The safety = top notch. HIGHLY RECCOMEND. Will be coming back.

The one piece kept everyone warm and dry, and nobody got to use the floatation device… Several stops with terrific commentary [local history; geologic history; local color]. I had been up for 36 hours to get to the Faroes, and wasn’t sure how well this was going to go, coming straight from my last flight, but I would consider it a huge success. Highly recommend. Excellent value. Superb captain and “crew”/ tour guide/ local politician/ land owner/ humorist.

The tour I went on didn’t get close to Múlafossur Waterfall at all which was something I had really wanted to see and that was advertised above as a stop. I went on several different boat tours to the other areas and this one was at the bottom of our list of the three. That being said the cliffs were still pretty and they went around the arch and through it. The boat ride did get a bit bumpy and of the boats this one didn’t have as many spots to hold onto.

He took us not only to the sea stacks and the falls, but staggeringly high cliffs, grottoes and caves. He told us about why the Faroes’ geology is so unique, and also the history of some villages and islands near the sea stacks. This is a must! So worth it!

Even though we had high winds a rough sea, the crew did their best to show us everything possible near Sorvagur. They were professional, nice and told us a lot about villages, islands, salmon farming, wildlife around the bay. They got as close as possible to Drangarnir and Tindholmur, shot perfect photos of us. This is a must do activity even when the weather is not perfect.

So pleased we did this tour! It was a definite highlight on our trip to Faroe Islands. We were able to get stunning video footage and photo’s. The staff were fantastic and we felt safe even though the ocean was really rough. Highly recommend this tour!!

As per the name of the activity, it’s unforgettable. Even more fun when the water is rough and in hail/snow. Highly recommended. Perfect way to see Drangarnir. The cliff face on the other side of the main island was a nice surprise – jaw-dropping.

This is a great way to start your visit to the Faroe Islands. You are provided with a warm suit that will help keep your clothes dry, although it is very likely that you will still get a little wet due to the high waves and wind. The small boat takes you by a beautiful small village, a seaside waterfall, interesting geologic rock formations, an isolated islet with three small buildings, and the famous Drangarnir. The tour departure location is within 10 minutes of FAE airport. I highly recommend this tour.

The boat tour to Drangarnir gate was an amazing experience. It was raining but we were provided full body waterproof suits which kept us warm and dry. In this way we really enjoyed dramatic scenery with fog and also took us to Bøur and Múlafossur waterfall. We made stops in order to enjoy up-close views and take photos. The crew gave a nice vibe with cool information and funny stories. Drangarnir sea stacks were beautiful and we also had the chance to pass through the arch. Thank you!

This tour was amazing. The weather was pretty foggy when we left which limited what we could see on the water but we still had a great time. The guide was very personable and funny which elevated the experience for sure.

This was absolutely fantastic. An experience of a lifetime. The crew were super and everything was spot on.
I hope to be back one day.
Steve Pannifer –
The boat trip in early May was great but unfortunately we did not see a single puffin on the island which was disappointing. There were some in the sea.
McKay Parrish –
We had a great experience.
So much fun hiking and seeing the puffins on mykines.
The captain and his red-headed helper were very friendly and Informative.
Finding the captain in the morning was difficult and most of the group was very late because the instructions were unclear on where to meet.
We ended up leaving the marina late and getting picked up late from the island. (Which was no big deal to us, but I could see it being an issue to other travelers in the future).
Thanks so much for a great experience in an unforgettable place.
Dorthe Tecza –
Richard Ferkel –
Everybody was great!
Pat Kungvankij –
It was very good. Thank you so much

Enjoyed the tour👍Lot’s of cute puffins everywhere🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜weather wasn’t the best. Clouds and windy on Mykines.
Karsten Mangor –
We had a wonderful trip to Mykines, the weather was rough on the return trip but due to experienced crew we felt safe and had a unforgettable boat trip.
Martin Källstrand –
Turen var fantastiskt bra!
Richard Collins –
Karen Pugh –
We are already planning our return to the Faroe Islands for next summer. We chose the rib boat to Mykines as we knew that the ferry could be cancelled if the winds were high as happened to my son on a previous visit. The ride was more than exciting as the sea swells were high but we always felt safe. There was a passenger with some mobility issues on our trip and the staff treated him with respect and assistance. We were impressed. We will do that trip again.
Bea Annot-Mekelenkamp –
It was a great experience!
Corinna Rotter –
The Trip to mykines , was definitiv one of the highlights of our whole Faroe vacation. It was just perfect. Starting with the exciting bot Ride and after this we had a wonderful time on the island. Iwas not Expecting to get so close to the beautiful puffin. Especially with the closure of the lighthouse Trailer the 4h time on the Island were just perfect. We would definitiv recommand this trip
Shirley Cox –
We had a great day. Directions to pick up place were great. Organisation and instruction to passengers was very clear. We got really close up to lots of puffins on the island. Would definitely book again with you, really good fun! 😀
Besse Françoise –
Our trip to Mykines went very well, the reception and the boat were perfect.
On the other hand, considering the already high price of the boat, we were really surprised and disappointed to have to pay again to be able to go on the paths that were not all open (lighthouse path closed).
In the ideal it would be necessary that all is included in the price, we would have less the impression to be taken for « pigeon ».
Thank you, it was a very nice discovery.
Julie Wright –
Charlotte Simic –
Rigtig fin tur. Har bestemt ikke fortrudt. Syntes dog at 250 kr. Pr.
Ann Guy –
Really well run operation and a great way to spend a day. Highly recommended!
Heike Nebbe –
Det var en vidunderlig udflugt for mig! Tusind tak 🙂 Meget søde to mænd, der sejlede os.
Phillip Smith –
Olga Vataman –
I booked Mukines Shuttle Boat, and I didn’t regret it at all. Very nice and kind people. I recommend with love. Thanks for the trip 🤗
Jette Nielsen –
Men fin, fin tur,
Rick McNerney –
We had a great time on Mykines Thanks to you switching us up at the last minute.
Jakob E. Laustsen –
Ingrid-Silvia Erikson –
Me and my partner loved the trip to Mykines. Now puffins are my favourite bird species! If I would ever come back to the Faroe Islands, I would definitely visit Mykines again. Thank you for this incredible experience! And the boat ride was a lot of fun, too.
Allison Patrick –
Victor LEVEQUE –
Amazing ! Even if the weather did not allow us to go to Mykines, they offered us an awesome boat tour around Vagar instead and that was spot on !
Strongly recommended
Kevin Kieda –
Natalia Langa –
Tour was really great. We were there in September and were even able to spot some puffins (mostly flying ones). And the Mykines island itself was really nice. Like all the Faroe Islands to be honest. All hikes here are breathtaking! And the boat ride itself was a fun experience, I laughed like a child when we jumped on the waves. Actually after getting back from the Mykines trip, I decided to buy another trip for the next day – Drangarnir one.
Aad Straathof –
Great boat ride and very friendly and helpful crew. Getting of the boat at Mykines harbour was an adventure in itself. Unfortunately during our visit to Mykines we saw only one puffin on land and some at sea but there were many other birds to be seen (fulmar, kittiwake, gannet, etc.).
Only bad thing about visiting Mykines is the outrageous 400 DKK p.p. access fee the locals charge!
Apart from that we enjoyed our visit and boat ride very much.
Andrzej –
It’s worth to take a trip to Mykines Island – to hike or try to see puffins. But the boat driver (on the way Sorvagur-Mykines) was reckless, driving the boat straight on waves making the boat jump and land on a flat surface of water which was really painful and dangerous. I left the boat with a headache and a hurt backbone.
The ride back (Mykines-Sorvagur) was with the other driver and was great and smooth.
Gina Frederiksen –
Amazing experience!
Kristin Kalmbacher –
It might be helpful to be state that the Mykines trip only includes the boat ride there and that guests will be expected to pay an additional fee to walk on the grounds. The locals taking credit card payments did not really make it clear how much they were charging per person and I only saw later on my CC statement that it was over $200. It wasn’t a problem it just would have been helpful to know ahead. Thank you again. We all hope to return soon.
Kari Conroy –
We thoroughly enjoyed our RIB boat ride out to Mykines Island. We were fortunate to have a beautiful, calm and sunny day to enjoy the trip. The boat crew were timely, professional and helpful when it came to putting on all the gear. They went above and beyond to make our experience special.
Vanasch Benoit –
It was great !
There was a lot of puffins in the Sea, in the Sky, on the Island, everywhere.
The only thing is that we have to pay 75€ per person to go out of the Village, nobody tell us before. It seems it’s a new rule since begin of June, that’s so expensive…
Sheila –
Xavier Sanchez –
Amazing tour with two amazing local guides!! Definitely would do it again and highly recommended! They explain everything in detail and give enough time to appreciate nature.
Jane –
Great tour! The guides in Mykines were very knowledgeable and welcoming. We saw plenty of puffins and learned a lot as well. It was fascinating to get the perspective of a local from that specific island. Thank you for sharing your stories.
Highly recommend.
Terry Peddlesden –
Skilled crewanaging the zodiacs back and forth. On the way back, we stopped to take photos of seals. As for the walk and seeing puffins, it was excellent!
Laurynas Biveinis –
Great tour! We contacted them before booking because we were traveling with a baby and had some questions, and they were super helpful.
Mireia Sensarrich Roset –
The trip was really nice! The views are amazing also the staff. We recommend this tour!!
Christian Christensen –
Fantastic experience. Good service during boat trip.
For the total experience it would have been good to know already when booking a 675 DKK ticket that you will be met by a 500 DKK fee to enter the Mykines Island.
Kristoffer Thomsen –
The shuttle to Mykines was great! The crew was super nice and skilled. Luckily we had good weather so my overall experience of Mykines was great! We got to see thousands of puffins both on the islands but also we could see them from the boat. Thanks to the funny captain and the crew for an amazing experience!
Flemming Zangenberg –
Tusind tak for en helt fantastisk bådtur🤩
De lokale på Mykines fastholder, at det koster 500 kr/person at bevæge sig uden for bygden.
Jochen Bonitz –
Pasakorn Thavornant –
We took a tour in late July.Comfortable RIB , have plenty of time to see a lot Puffins, recommended.
Michael Stone –
I personally loved the tour. The sun was shining and there were thousands of Puffins. Once I got off the boat, I set of immediately to walk the dedicated track. I did not join the guided tour which must have had 80 tourists in it. Just too many people to scare the Puffins.
Malene Hermansen –
Helt igennem fantastisk god tur. Vil helt sikkert anbefale denne tur 😉
Allan Vilhelmsen –
Fantastic tour to Mykines, including detours to Drangarnir and caves. Excellent staff and guides. Absolutely recommend!
Frances Coombe –
Both my mum & I loved the boat trip experience – so much fun! Crew were very helpful, friendly & experienced. And we saw so much birdlife- especially puffins! Would highly recommend.
Carolina Guerra –
Alicia Beurrier –
Superbe activité.
Les guides sont vraiment très gentils.
Top !
Alex Barbeau –
It was great! The tour was quite fun, particularly going through rock formations on the way to and from Mykines.
Ursula Kropfeld –
A really great experience on an unique island 🐧.
After this impressive visit we understand the need for regulation of visitors, the hiking fee and all the rules to protect the wildlife and nature.
And congratulations to the Klavsvik soccer team with an remarkable spirit on their way to the Champions League! 👍👍
Timo Wegner –
The boat shuttle itself was quite an experience and a lot of fun. The staff was very friendly. However, it would have been helpful to know beforehand about the in our opinion way to expensive hiking fee of 500 DKK.
Cassandra Tan –
Overall, we enjoyed the trip.
shaun southern –
Ivan –
Amazing experience… if you like adrenaline experiences. A fast boat shuttle to the island of Mykines. The crew is funny and well trained. Avoid it if you suffer from seasickness, if you are elderly or have small children, if you are afraid of water or high speed (in these cases the ferry is better for you), if instead you love the air in your hair and flying on the waves… don’t miss this boat shuttle!
Vir Nakai –
The night before our ride we got a message cancelling the shuttle to Mykines due to high swells on the islands. In the email we were given an alternative to come and do another tour on the water as we had already paid up.
The tour was a one hour ride to the waterfalls, Dranganir and we saw lots and lots of Puffins. The crew was well informed and had quite a bit to tell us. I highly recommend that tour because unless you plan to do the full trek once on Mykines this one is more fun and you don’t have to give your whole day to it. Also who doesn’t love a speedboat over a ferry.
Zan –
Fantastic boat tour— in spite not being able to get to Mykines due to weather conditions—the tour provider gave us an excellent one hour boat tour of other sites near Sørvágur. Knowledgeable and funny local tour guide, comfortable boat.
Barbara Nowak –
Excellent trip and fantastic crew, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour. We booked this trip as the morning ferry was booked out and we were really glad we went on Mykines shuttle and not on the ferry, looked much more comfortable and it was much more fun. The weatherproof suits kept us warm and dry during the trip. We’ve had great time. Strongly recommend.
Megan –
Harry our skipper was very skilled. Our trip to Mykines was altered due to the sea conditions, but our alternate trip was excellent. Saw many puffins and a seal popped up to check out what we were doing. Thrilling trip.
Barbara –
Fabulous tour. Extreme winds and rain prevented us from getting to Mykines, sadly, but the Guide to Faroe Islands team made up for it by coming out despite the weather and taking us for a tour of the bay. Our guide provided historic and geologic details coupled with fabulous storytelling. And despite the weather conditions and lateness in puffin season, we even managed to view numbers of these delightful and intrepid little seafaring birds. This team will keep you safe and make your day bright. Highly recommend!!!
Kate –
Really well organized and nice boat ride!
Patrick –
It was great, quick ride to the island via speed boat which can get bumpy at times. Also, you can pre-pay for the mandatory guide fee once on the island ahead of time and it’ll save you 100 DKK. Fee is 500 DKK per person once on the island, so be aware of that first. Puffin sightings are largely based on temperature (in addition to time of year). Last week, people saw about 3 puffins during their tour. Today (May 14) we saw hundreds at least! It was about 12 degrees C.
Louise Holst Schæffer –
Super exiting and beautiful transfer to Mykines and back.
Simone –
Amazing tour. It helps if your boat is first to get there before people swarm the area. Talking scares away the Puffins. Small group made the tour great. Brought a 3 year old and 11 year old who loved it as well.
Maliha –
The tour got cancelled sadly during to bad weather, so couldn’t do it. We ended up taking the reciprocal tour which was nice but short.
carla –
Such a spectacular day!!
Kristen Tavel –
It was a fabulous experience from start to finish! We were lucky to have a picture perfect day and saw lots of puffins. The hike to the top was worth the effort because the scenery at the top was spectacular! The boat ride to Mykines and back was beautiful and the guide friendly and helpful. The pie and coffee at the cafe on the island shouldn’t be missed. 10/10 day!
Julie Meyer –
Drangarnir was the highlight of our vacation. Fabulous trip and the foggy mist with sunshine peaking through made it even cooler! We stayed on the island for 1.5 hours for light hiking and photos, which was perfect. The boat tour afterwards was also great. Would highly recommend!
Maik Lipp –
The boat tour and the hike was great. The weather was also fine, so we had an great experience.
Thanks for that!
Michelle Leunis –
It was great, thank you! Both guides were extremely accommodating, even with the turn of the weather that didn’t allow us to land to do the hike. Still a beautiful experience!
Scott Smith –
The boat ride and view were great. Unfortunately the weather was cold, wet, and rainy constantly. The website says windproof jacket and hiking boots which I’m sure would be fine on dry days. For the rainy days a full on rain/windproof suit is preferred. If you are interested keep in mind the weather, an expensive watertight suit might be required. Also 2.5 hours is a little long and for the price I would recommend another tour.
Niels VR –
Fabulous experience, without any doubt. Experienced captain and crew member, who brought us right to the end of what otherwise would have been a long hike. Ultrafast and comfortable boat. The price includes the (expensive) walking permit, so the price of the boat trip itself was actually very fair. We were offered an earlier pick-up in case of bad weather, but were so lucky to have a wonderful sunshine and no wind. We had the place to ourselves, and enjoyed every minute of the 2.5 hours we spent there.
Carrie Nicholes –
Thank you so much for reaching out. We had an amazing time on our boat ride to Drangarnir. We were blessed to be the only two people at Drangarnir, which gave us an opportunity to explore in seclusion (with only a couple of sheep to keep us company). It was one of our favorite experiences during our time in the Faroe Islands. We would highly recommend the tour to others!
Heiri Keller –
Lilly Huang –
I had a great time In Drangalnior & will be back someday for sure.
Jennifer Esseiva –
The boat tour and the time on the island is perfect for photographers! The time is short but I was able to get some great photos! The place is stunning and his definitely a must see!
Andrea –
Fantastic! Would highly recommend this experience to all.
Serena –
Great experience! Perfect alternative for people who wish to photograph Drangarnir but don’t want the hiking.
We had wonderful weather during the 2 hours on the island to capture the fabulous place.
Jochen –
The tour was awesome, the captain and crew friendly and everything was on time. The only negative aspect is the price of this tour, in my humble opinion this is enormously overpriced.
Clinton Blackman –
Great views of the iconic sea stacks and good fun on the rib getting there. Definitely recommended
Julie Shields –
This was the highlight of our trip!
Bin Zhou –
This tour is without doubt the highlight of our stay in the Faroe Islands. We enjoy a perfect weather which is precious in the Faroe Islands. And it was like the neverland of Drangarnir belongs to us two people. The captain also took us a exciting boat tour surrounding the sea stacks. On our way back we had a delightful chat with the captain who gave us lot of fun stories and informations about the history of the islands.
Heather Mantel –
This boat trip was the highlight of our trip to the Faroe Islands – we had great weather, by Faroese standards. Blue skies and interesting cloud formations across the bay. We had the opportunity to go through the archway which was amazing! It was an amazing time, and we’ll remember it for a long long time to come.
Johnny De Gruyter –
Boottrip was very good. A “drive thru” the arch before we were dropped on land. Schipper asked us the day before if we wanted to postphone the trip a day, because of the weather (totally clouded in the mist, no view).
The day after we managed to see something. Unfortunatly some low clouds made it not posible to see much of the second seastack, althou some good pics in the mist.
With this trip you are free to roam the cliffs above and have time to take pictures. Heard from someone else we meat that was not the case on the guided tour over land.
Organizing people were very friendly and helpfull.
Alexandra Bratton –
This was the most incredible tour during my time here!! It was so special to explore Drangarnir on my own, and the guides are incredibly nice. Even though it was a little rainy, walking around in the quiet amongst stunning landscapes, birds, and sheep was well worth it!
The Drangarnir sea arch very nice, I like it
Kah seang Lau –
The tour was amazing and nice funny guide too …I really enjoy it
Will recommend this tour to friend .
Hyunju Kim –
I really appreciate you for the great experience in Faroe Islands.
The boat ride was safe and comfortable, the time given to hike and explore the spot was long enough, and the tour guide was very helpful, too.
Thunyaporn Bunthuan –
It was great !!
Wish to join again with other program. 🙂
Eran Breiman –
I had a great experience! Luckily the weather was good in that day, we even got a little glimpse of the sun 😉 We sailed to the end of the fjord and had 2 hours to wander around, which is enough, I didn’t feel like I needed more.
Both crew members were pleasant and provided great service.
I recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see Drangarnir.
Xavi Vilà –
We had an amazing experience, really recommended.
Thank you guys!
Philippe Tresse –
Iris li –
It is a nice experience when we take the boat around the Arch.
JIAYI –
Perfect trip! I really enjoy the view around Dranganir. Captain is very nice, I really recommend this trip!
Jun & Jam Ampoyo –
The pictures or videos you see don’t make justice. To be there is really one of a kind experience. It was rainy and the sea was a bit rough but still we want to go back. The guide and boat captain were very friendly and made sure everyone was safe.
Nut haha –
Love the trip. Nice experience and would recommend my friends to join the tour
Christer –
Even with the price, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and take the tour again.
kaltham –
It was the highlight of our trip and amazing boat we got the adventure polarcircle. we saw the Drangarnir from a close location from every site we enjoy the hiking, it was foggy and breathable and also easy for the kids to be there
Maureen –
Mirko –
Great team, spectacular crossing and just a great view of the Drangarnir sea arch.
The price was fair.
Louisa Pollard –
Nichole DeGrange –
This was an amazing experience and surpassed all my expectations. The scenery was so beautiful and everyone was so nice! On the way back, they drove the boat through the rock arch and it was so cool and such a great experience! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Brandon lever –
This tour was a once in lifetime experience, to see the Drangarnir Sea Arch up close. Excellent photo oppurtunities from all different angles! You could even hike up the mountain a little to have a view of the atlantic ocean which was impressive to the eyes, i reccomend this tour to anyone visting the faroes! its also combined with a small boat tour to drop of location
Manuel –
All went well but way too expensive for what you get. Simple 10min boat transfer without even a single word of explanation or other advise.
Sun –
Joined it on 18aug that week getting so worse weather so that i chat with staff one night before who confirmed me the tour on schedule. So luckily when landing island that 30min rain stop and wind weak more. So happy the tour as landscape so impressive even very little sunshine but full enjoyable. Thanks for all staff everyone is so nice. Good for joining as it really amazing place and tour
Eric Chen –
Absolute must-see experience, would do again, much appreciation to the crew who brought us out
Nathaniel –
Guglielmo Menegolo –
One of the most beautiful experiences in Faroe islands, the boat trip is like a rollercoaster, very funny, and the place is simply amazing. We were very lucky to come in a sunny day.
Clara Rempe –
What a spectacular place! This is essentially a ride to get to Drangarnir. They boat you over and drop you off for a bit and then pick you up. It was beautiful! The shore has no dock or man made spot for the boat to drop people off so that can be slippery and we were a little surprised when the boat just rammed into the rocks and let us off. Plenty of time to hike around and take photos and videos to your hearts delight.
Yukkei Kan –
We enjoyed our boat tour to the Drangarnir sea stacks! The weather was looking poor for our original date, so the tour guide reached out to reschedule us which we appreciated. We ended up with amazing weather that day (the best of our entire trip!) and had a fantastic time exploring. The boat ride is quick and we get up close to the sea stacks before docking. It is quite slippery when you land, so bring good shoes! A short steep climb to amazing views. We packed some snacks and enjoyed our time exploring- it sure beats a 5-6 hour hike! Would recommend! 🙂
Lone Bonde –
Chatchapon –
This is the great experience in the lifetime. We fly over from Thailand for this thing and it’s worth what you had spent. Truly recommend.
Cristina McAvoy –
Fantastic experience! 360 degrees of views at all times! Fabulous boat, well suited for the purpose. Really glad we added this to our itinerary!
Christophe –
Good experience despite the cloudy weather. Views from the top of the cliffs were stunning. I would recommand it.
Laura Smith –
The Drangarnir boat tour was one of the highlights of our time in the Faroe Islands. We initially planned to do the hike, but chose the boat tour to save time which allowed us to spend the rest of the day exploring other areas. The boat tour was wonderful and the staff was kind and helpful. We would 100% recommend this tour to others!
Jochen –
Everything worked out great and the guys were welcoming. A bit expensive though for basically just a boat ride.
Šarūnė –
Worth every cent. Stunning views and an enjoyable trip
HG (Huub) van der Zee –

Very beautiful view at Drangarnir arch and puffins ! I recommend this tour
Simona Bursi –
Amazing experience!
It’s a great way to access one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Faroe Islands without the long and demanding trek, and it’s also very nice to be able to enjoy the view from the sea. The passage under the rock arch is an incredible experience! Highly recommended!
Madhan Kanagavel –
Real fun experience.. really gets close to the sea stacks and the gadalasur falls. Funny stories from the guide and an exciting fast ride on tbe speed boat.
Keith Tam –
It is a fantastic trip, the staff is friendly. Although it is already 1hour past., the sun appears at that moment, and the crew drive us near to the amazing Drangarnir for us to take good photos. It is a must in Faore island, I strongly recommend this trip.
Josemi Jimenez –
Highly recommended. Besides Drangarnir the boat goes to several other points of interest. It was incredible. We had a windy weather but it didn’t suppose any problem, the captain was fantastic and did it an unforgettable experience.
Metin Ozgur –
It was a very good tour, with enough time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. The crew was very nice and helpful.
Marcos Toledo de Campos Moura –
Excellent tour to Drangarnir! The weather wasn’t good and we still loved it. It’s very worth it
Monika –
It was amazing! Definitely worth the money. And the crew was very nice and professional.
Kevin –
Went out on the zodiac to see the sea stacks and waterfall. It was amazing. The guide and captain were excellent. Learned so much about the area and The Faroes. Got to go thru the arch! Great experience. Booked a car and other boat excursions with Guide To Faroes. All were wonderful! Hogni even helped with planning my time and answered many questions to be sure we got all we wanted out of our trip. The Faroe Islands are MAGICAL! Thank you Hogni and team for a great trip!
Lukas Hansen –
Even though we were there in September, we had very good weather when we did the boat tour to Drangarnir. You don’t only go to Drangarnir but also to the waterfalls, Tindholmur and all the other places in the surrounding. It was an absolutely amazing experience which we won’t ever forget. The guide was also very good and entertaining. Definitely recommend it!
John Canham –
Great tour with very informative tour guides…would do again
Tiberiu Potec –
Thrilling experience, an absolute must-do when visiting the Faroe Islands (Føroyar)! The crew was funny, explaining everything we witnessed with such charm. Once we set sail, the ocean got pretty rough, but for my girlfriend and me, this made the trip even more exciting! Thank you for such amazing moments, and we’re looking forward to seeing you again next year!
Sarah Lockwood –
Best experience on the Faroe Islands! I booked this boat trip pretty last minute on my final day and was not disappointed. You see so much more than the Drangarnir – although that was definitely a highlight. The guides were charismatic and informative and provided the best afternoon journey I could’ve asked for. It was the perfect group size for a tour as well. Highly recommend for photographers, and anyone who wants to see the beautiful islands of Faroe from the water.
Roderick Gilman –
Excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgable and entertaining and the boat ride smooth in spite of challenging weather.
Georg Nahringbauer –
They tour was really great. We saw many different things and liked the way the guide was explaining the sourrundings.
Kimberly Wills –
The staff were lovely, helpful and efficient. We appreciated the commentary which was humorous and informative.
We did not feel rushed to take pictures and move on quickly. The length of the voyage was perfect due to rough seas.
We saw two seals. 10/10 recommend.
Sam –
Worth every penny! Even worth it in October. Guides gave us dry suits to keep us warm, beautiful sights to see and beautiful pictures to be taken. Tour guide was funny personable and knowledgeable. Book it, if you’re here it’s worth it!!
Jo –
Great trip! Unforgettable! Definitely best experience in Faroe Islands!
Andrea P –
The tour was exciting. The guide gave us a lot of information about the places visited, and it was fun and nice. There’s plenty of time left for photos.
We even seen a seal.

Absolutely recommended.
Laura –
So much fun. Worth every penny! Amazing experience.
Maja –
Beautiful tour with lovely guides.
Robin –
We had an amazing tour during sunset yesterday! Jørgen share a lot of insights and anecdotes about the faroe history, geology, fauna, economy, etc. and had an answer to all of our questions. Can totally recommend this tour – also nice to combine with a self organized “postmans hike” which is nearby! Hope to come back soon for another tour!!
Livio –

Danny Galan –
Unforgettable. The staff was very good and the tour close to the coast was spectacular.
Montse Herrero –
Loved the tour, all the places that you cannot see if you don’t go in a boat. Espectacular!
Ellen Saleh-Hoven –
We all really enjoyed this adventure! Very well organised, friendly crew and great commentary in English. Even though the temperature was dipping as we took the 16.30 tour, the suits kept us nice and warm. The boat actually goes through the arch so gives a different perspective than just passing by. Would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks!
Annika Shi –
The guides and captains are very professional, knowledge, fun, and passionate about their homeland! Went to several famous attractions during the tour, definitely recommend it!
Stelios –
The most amazing trip I had in Faroe. Cliffs were breathtaking. We even saw puffins in Tindhólmur Islet. The boat was great (fast and made many stops in the places of interest)
Hannah Barton –
This was the best most memorable thing I did in the Faroe Islands. I was worried about seasickness but staying in the fjord for most of the time meant no sickness at all! Seriously amazing views and I loved having a guide to give us a local perspective. We lucked out with weather and were able to go through the arch which was incredible! If I could only do one thing in the Faroes, I would do this tour. Well worth the price!
Christian –
We very much enjoyed the tour and recommend it to see the famous landscape and cliffs.
Martina & Volker –
An unforgettable trip with a spectacular boat, all the fantastic nature, birds, puffins were breathtaking. We felt very safe and left the world behind us!!

One of the best experiences we had while in the Faroe Islands. The sights from the water are incredible. The guides are friendly and knowledgable. 100 percent recommend to anyone who visits – a must do. I would do it again!
B.J. Woodstein –
This is a wonderful trip. We went on a very rainy day and still had a great time, even though we were quite cold and wet!
I recommend that you ensure you go to the toilet before you park as there are no toilets at the harbour (nearest one is at the petrol station). I also recommend that you dress appropriately, with waterproof gear. You will get wet.
The views are beautiful!
Marina –
The best boat tour I’ve been on, honestly! Everything from the fishermen suits that kept us warm for the whole entire hour, to the breathtaking views, to the guides who revised just the right amount of info and knew when to just let us take everything in in silence. I highly recommend this tour to absolutely anyone who is into nature and adventure. A million percent worth it!
Orjana Velikonja –
We had a good time with Bluegate boat tours to Drangarnir and Mulafossur waterfall. It was funny, informative and safe. Would definitely recomed it.
Wing Yin Chan –
Exceptional! Stunning views and wonderful experience. Our captains are humorous, kind and professional! A must do item when u would be at FAE. Highly recommended!
Danny Pelizzon –
This was brilliant! The people are friendly and tell you something about the history. You will see a waterfall, caves, sea stacks, a cool beach and the small village Bøur. The boats are very fast which gives this tour a boost, which is fun. You get to wear suits which protect you against the water and cold, but it is mainly for your safety. We saw puffins, seals and baby birds in their hidings. Highly recommended.
Susan Pozer –
Absolutely fantastic tour – it was fantastic to see so many sights from the water as opposed to the land. Our captain was great providing us with great stories about the region while navigating rough water in such a way that you always felt comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour!
Damien Mèche –
Great visit, highly recommend it to anyone wishing to see the sea stacks closer, the waterfalls and several other point of views on the islands, including Bøurg village. The guide was super nice and informative, he told us many stories about the islands, and has a great sense of humour! Thank you to him and the captain of the boat.
Tessa Desjardins –
Phil Bell –
Great tour
fantastic views
Friendly accomodating staff
Daniel Hidalgo –
Totally worth it!! I would absolutely recomend it.
Roxana –
Amazing boat trip ! We all had an absolutely great time, seeing the waterfalls and passing through the sea arch. Highly recommend it!
Kai-Sheng –
Great tour , the view was spectacular.
Billy T –
Zowee – Really excellent!! Captain and crew outfitted everyone with dry suit/ foul weather gear and a floatation device.
Thanks team! Stay loose & awesome!!
Maxine –
We enjoyed a informed and exciting boat ride. The staff were helpful and friendly. The boat trip took us to the amazing rock formation and waterfalls. The boat was safe and safety information was clear and accurate. I fully recommend this trip, it was well priced, interesting and fun.
Patrik Hlavanda –
It was truly a great experience.
Rebecca –
The tour I went on didn’t get close to Múlafossur Waterfall at all which was something I had really wanted to see and that was advertised above as a stop. I went on several different boat tours to the other areas and this one was at the bottom of our list of the three. That being said the cliffs were still pretty and they went around the arch and through it. The boat ride did get a bit bumpy and of the boats this one didn’t have as many spots to hold onto.
Don Gabrielson –
Absolute fantastic tour. I got pictures on this tour that are not possible on land. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The captain did a great jog keeping me dry in the front seat in pretty rough water. Highly recommended.
Marcel Rotzoll –
Stephen Holden –
This boat tour of Drangarnir and Múlafossar was the highlight of our visit to the Faroes! Just spectacular views of the amazing natural beauty, and our captain was so nice, funny and informative; you could tell how proud he is of his country. He took us not only to the sea stacks and the falls, but staggeringly high cliffs, grottoes and caves. He told us about why the Faroes’ geology is so unique, and also the history of some villages and islands near the sea stacks. This is a must! So worth it!
Nicholas Kent –
Exceptional tour and would highly recommend. My father and I had a wonderful time.
Lauren Bell-Codd –
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Faroe Islands. We saw many of the most beautiful sights in the Faroe Islands. I highly recommend!
