    We were supposed to go on this tour, but due to the windy weather, the plans changed the day before. However, the communication about the changes were very clear and friendly. The tour, we went on instead, was outstanding. We laughed so much and got to sing as loud as we could in the caves. I’d recommend this tour to everyone who wants to explore the west side on the islands from sea side. It was definitely one for the books!

    It was a great experience, due to the weather we did not ride to Hestur, but to Nolsoy. This was great as well! We saw seals, puffins and loads of other birds.

    Our Gide told a lot out Nolsay and it’s stories. Even had music on board which completed the trip.

    Probably the highlight of my trip to the Faroe Islands! This was such an incredible experience. Without wanting to spoil too much, there seemed to have gone quite some thought into making this an unforgettable experience. Our guides/captains were fantastic with great knowledge of the history and landscape and we felt super safe and entertained the whole way.

    I’ve never been in such a fast moving boat, it was truly thrilling and the sea was a bit “rowdy”, as one of the guys called it, which made for a very fun ride. It was luckily not too rowdy to get close to the cliffs and go into the caves, so it was a wonderful tour I would absolutely recommend and try again.

    Trods lidt tvivlsomt vejr kom vi på vandet (vi blev tilbudt at udskyde). Vi er vildt glade for vi bare tog afsted.
    Vores skipper fortalte gode historier og spillede fed nordisk musik. Det var en tur til Nolsoy hvor vi så sæler, masser fugle og Lunder. Fuld fart og Týr (færøsk metal) på anlægget samt vildt vejr gjorde turen super fed autentisk. Fuld plade herfra. Tusind tak!

    This tour was an excellent way to see the birds and interesting geology of Hestur Island. Our tour needed to be rescheduled due to motor maintenance and the captain was very helpful in rescheduling us for another tour during our time in the Faroe Islands. The boat holds about 10 passengers and there are only two seats per row, so everyone gets a great view. In areas with a lot of birds, the captain was great about rotating the boat so everyone could see. I would happily join this tour again and/or look for others with the same captain when we return to the Faroe Islands.

    This tour was the highlight of our trip. It was just the right amount of everything. Adrenaline, facts/information, sightseeing and bird watching. Nothing was over or underdone and you could not get bored. It was all just enough to feel satisfied but not overdone. Absolutely excellent!! Was the best use of our money and i could not recommend it more.

    Vi havde en fornøjelig tur med rib-båd fredag, som til tider nærmest fløj afsted over vandet med 90km i timen. Vores skipper kendte havet, stenene og grotterne så godt som sin egen lomme. Vi så en gråsæl i en af grotterne, mange Lunder/søpapegøjer og adskillige andre fugle. Vi kom godt langt ind i grotterne og igennem en, så tæt på væggene at vi måtte kunne røre klipperne og kun lige akurat kunne komme igennem. Skipper var mega sej til at styre og havde fuld kontrol med båd og vandet, så jeg følte mig tryg og heldig over at få mulighed for at opleve Færøerne (Hestur) på denne måde. Det er absolut ‘et must do’ og næste gang vil jeg tage mine to sønner med. 1000 tak for en god tur fra vandsiden, tilpas med pauser til fotos, ro og fart – på den helt rigtige måde. Mvh. Louise

    These guys were simply the best. The music and the overall experience, they had a song for every type of scenery, which they chose carefully! They take their time to stop, sometimes go quickly on the water to make you feel a great experience, they get close to the caves! They explain everything in great detail, you can see that these guys genuinely care! You will see puffins and so many different kinds of birds I had never seen before. You definitely get your money’s worth!

    Amazing!!! We all loved this experience. The caves were the best, especially with the music. The nesting birds was a once in a lifetime experience. Hester Island is a must do when visiting the Faroe Islands. Our guide was exceptional.

    This was a real cool experience. We saw a whale and the Captain played a song of our favorite artist inside a cave (the accoustic was surreal). Thank you for that ! The speedboat is total fun ! It was definitely the best tour we had in the Faroese.

    Fantastic experience with a very nice crew (and, luckily, amazing weather). Those crazy Faroese cliffs are even more incredible up close, and it was delightful to see our first puffins of the trip as well as a couple of seals. Absolutely recommended.

    Great trip! A good mix of adrenaline and speed complimented by the beautiful scenery of the Fareo Islands. The captain was very knowledgeable and entertaining. aC/DC sound tract put it over the top! Would recommend trip to every one!!

    This was extremely fun and worth the money. The weather did not corporate on the day of our planned boat tour so the company was accommodating and offered a refund or a tour the following day. We chose a tour the following day and circled the island of Nolsoy instead. I would highly recommend this experience!

    Our boat-trip to Hestur (as well as out general stay on the Faroe Islands) was magical. By far our best nature experience to date, and that’s coming from a Norwegian perspective.

    We loved how close we got to the cliffs and also the fact that we actually drove inside the caves. Thank you for creating this spectacular experience.

    Great tour even thought it is not bird season! Wonderful way to see the Faroes from the water.
    Guide was very friendly and set some of the ride to local music. Especially loved seeing the jelly fish.

    I had a lovely time thank you. It was very memorable! I loved how fast the boat went and the seats were very comfortable! The guide was very funny! We were lucky with the weather. As a solo traveller with no Faroese language, I felt safe and welcomed.

    I do hope to return to Faroe again soon.

    It was great. We really enjoyed the trip. The captain made it very entertaining, and really got us up close. Initially I had mixed feelings about the use of music in some places because of the contrast between the beautiful and wild nature, and the modern world. But the captain’s choices were very appropriate for the locations and I decided it added to the overall effect. Thanks again.

    Bølgerne var for høje ved Hestur, så vi sejlede rundt om Nolsoy i stedet for. Vi sejlede gennem en tunnel og ind i grotter. Det var et fantastisk skue. Undervejs spillede de Heavy Metal, hvilket passede perfekt til denne actionmættede oplevelse, som jeg kun kan anbefale meget varmt. Det føles næsten som en rutsjebane til havs.

He ensured safety and comfort of each passenger, he was very knowledgeable about the birds of Hestur and a virtuoso of navigating through the caves!

    The guide arrived a little late, but once we got going, it was clear he was a total professional. His stories were good, his boat handling exceptional and the overall experience was breath-taking. We saw Puffin, Arctic Tern, Guillemot and some other bird species. On this day, the seas were not favourable towards the Seals, so they went unseen.
    The bird viewing was great, there was plenty of time to see and observe all of the species. The cave explorations were good, and just got better! The high speed boat manoeuvres were mighty fun and the sound track was very fitting for the overall experiences.

    It was a wonderful experience. It would have been even better if the weather cooperated. We saw several varieties of birds and a seal. The caves were beautiful – multiple colors. Ofcourse, the best was the high speed ending!

    Great experience. We were outfitted with suits that kept us warm and dry, along with helmets. The boat ride was great, we saw several bird colonies in the cliffs and a seal near the boat. The driver was very knowledgable and taught us about the island geography and the birds. The caves were so cool. The driver played music while we were in the caves and then during the return trip. We were able to speed around on the way back to the harbor.

    I highly recommend this experience to all! We brought 2 groups to explore the Faroe Islands and this was definitely the favorite activity for all our guests. The boat’s high speed is exhilarating, the Hestur Islands cliffs are breath-taking, and being able to venture into the newly recognized largest sea cave in the world is truly incredible! Thank you for such a fun experience.

    This tour should be on everyone’s bucket list and certainly on your list if you visit the Faroe Islands. The nature around Hestur Island is breathtaking, otherworldly. We saw tens of thousands of birds nesting on the cliffs, miniature penguins on the rocks and puffins in the water. Sailing inside the caves and experiencing their gothic cathedral-like ceilings was humbling. The water, the waves, the vistas – spectacular.

    The cherry on top was the playful nature of our captain who sailed the rib boat in a way which made it like a roller coaster ride – a very fun one!

    Great tour despite the unfavourable seas. Unfortunately it wasn’t safe to go into the caves when we were there, but the tour was still worth doing and we saw lots of wildlife and got very close to the cliffs and (almost) into one or two of the caves. But I think that just speaks to the professionalism of the tour, that they put passenger safety first. On the plus side, the unusually high waves made the trip over and back at high speed absolutely amazing fun! Just one thing to look out for, the signage at the port is really poor, so we thought we were in the wrong place as no-one was there and there isn’t an office as such (it’s a container).

    It was a great Experience, our Guide was very nice and he informed us quite well about birds, the landscape, the lighthouse and the special Färöer festival, which is once a year. Very interesting. As the weather was not as thy expected, they changed the route, so we had the chance to visit another island with caves and lots of spectacular cliffs. on the way back to the harbor our captain really turned the trip into a thrilling trip – it was like on a rollercoaster. Very funny, all the kids loved it! Thank you for such a great morning !

The safety kit provided was very good, with knowledgeable and friendly guides. Thrilling FAST trip across the bay was a great ending to a “must do” trip. Thank you.

    Great boat trip was hugely fun. We got cancelled one day due to weather, but got on the next day. Excellent communication with us. Wet suits were fabulous to keep us dry and warm on somewhat rough sea day. Riding fast with music, going into the caves, seeing puffins — loved it!

    Probably one of the coolest excursions I have done in my travels. The captain and first mate were great and fun. The boat ride was comfortable and thrilling!
    We unfortunately couldn’t go around Hestur but instead went around Nolsoy which was equally exciting with sea caves, birds and sea life!

    Went round Nolsoy due to wind conditions, it did not disappoint! Boat ride fun with accompanying music for some sections and peace in quiet in others so you could enjoy the scenery, sea cliffs and wildlife in natural surroundings. September out of season for nesting birds but we still saw; seals, puffins, and a variety of other sea birds. We got up close to the cliffs and explored several sea caves.

    We took the blue bus number 650 (not 101 as stated in the email it does not exist now) from the bus terminal at 10:35 to Gamlaraett ferry port, arrived for 11. The bus drops you off at the ferry port just before going through the new subsea tunnel. The return bus was not until 3pm, so we asked if any of our fellow boat trip passengers could take us to Kirkjubour, just 3 kms away. We were lucky a lovely Portuguese couple had been there the day before and recommended visiting it. We then took a red free bus back to Torshaven at 3:30. If fit you could always walk back on a hiking trail back to Torshaven.

    This was a highlight on our short trip to the Faroe Islands. We went on September 1 so the puffins had already moved on, but the exhilarating boat ride, cliffs, caves, and info from the captain made it all worthwhile. Highly recommend!

    Very fun experience. The crew was professional and the boat ride was exciting. Due to weather conditions (high waves), the boat could not go to Hester Island, but instead launched from a different location (we were informed the evening prior), and we went to Nolsoy Island instead. We were still able to float through caves, but there were no dramatic sea stacks (rock formations) as there would have been at Hester Island. But the ride was still thrilling, and floating gently through the caves (with the terrific music the crew put on) was an ethereal experience. Highly Recommended!

    Not a whole lot to see on this tour in September. Bit generous to call this a cave tour, very shallow caves. Tour guide was in the back of the boat, I was in the first row and could not hear anything. Young captain tried to impress the passengers by going way too fast. I could not look up, had to look down.

    We had a great time on our tour, though I should point out we did not actually go to Hestur Island. Weather in the Faroe Islands is extremely volatile, and every boat tour we booked on our trip had to change their itinerary to account for rough seas. In this case, our captain actually took us to Nolsoy Island. to the east of Torshavn. It was still a fascinating trip and a lot of fun.

    This was an absolutely amazing boat tour. Captain and crew were nice and helpful. They explained where we were and some history about the island. Luckily the weather was great and we were able to go around the island and into multiple caves. So many beautiful jaw dropping views!! Highly recommend this tour. It’s worth every cent!

    This tour is a MUST if you come to Faroe islands. The scenery is exceptional and combined with the authentic music, when played in the caves where it sounds like in a cathedral is breathtaking. The speed boat racing home on the harbour with iconic Rock music sounds is unforgettable. Sigmund and his co-pilot where absolutely kind and skilled, looked after us very well and gave us much interesting information. Thumbs Up for this team !
