Gamlarætt Ferry Port Travel Guide
Gamlarætt is a ferry port in the Faroe Islands. Situated on the west coast of Streymoy Island some 10 minutes from the capital Tórshavn, this is where you catch the ferry to Hestur Island.
Gamlarætt ferry port lies between the villages Velbastaður and Kirkjubøur. The port is located halfway between the two villages. Take the road down the rock face next to the shoreline and you will eventually get to a flat area. You have now reached Gamlarætt.
