    I spent an amazing day with Ditte as I delved into the beauty of the northern islands. She was able to show me the best spots to take photos but not only that!     This was the first in a series of 3 tours I took with Ditte. What a fantastic day! Ditte is not only good company, but an amazing guide, with lots of knowledge and a willingness to share. The itinerary was super varied, with lots of stops and a bit of everything. By the end of the day, it felt like I had experienced several day’s worth of sights! At the same time, the pace was perfect for me. Nothing ever felt forced or rushed. Highly recommended.

    A really great day, getting to notice all the little waterfalls or spots or angles that you might otherwise have missed without a local. A very chill, laid back day of conversation, coffee and photography, and Ditte was even nice enough to lend me her SLR as I hadn’t been able to travel with mine! See you when I come back!

    My tour with Ditte can only be described with the word epic. She’s a fantastic guide. I emailed her beforehand, and informed her of the two other tours, which I had booked, beside the private tour with her. She took me to places where neither of the other two tours took me. She also navigated around the weather (fog) perfectly, and found stunning spots with fantastic views. Besides guiding she also works as a photographer. She’s very talented in this field, hence she can take memorable shots for you, and she knows excatly where to go to get the picture-postcard scenery. I had an absolutly amazing experience, and I can highly recommend her.

    Ditte is an amazing tour guide!! We had such a wonderful day with her, and she was so fun to talk to. After our first tour was canceled, we were very upset and unsure of what to do with our day. Ditte came to our rescue and took us on a great tour of Streymoy and Eysturoy. She went above and beyond, taking great care of us. Ditte is a great photographer, so she will show you great spots for photos. When we come back to the Faroes in the future, we will certainly be spending time with Ditte!

    Ditte made sure she took us to all the places we wanted to go. She is a photographer, so she knows the best scenic places. Our ship arrived late, but she picked us up at 1:30pm and took us back to our ship at 9pm after a full day of site seeing. Definitely recommend.

As a professional photographer and graphics designer she can point out great pictures that might not have been seen by amateurs. Lifelong resident of the islands with knowledge of everything that could interest someone. Both my wife and I loved the Faroe Islands and it’s beauty.     We had an amazing time with Ditte as she gave us a great tour of the Islands. She was flexible as we juggled plans due to the weather at the moment (which changes quickly) and were able to see all the key sites we were interested in. She had tons of great facts and stories to share and brought us to some great views that were almost too good to believe.

    She had lots of drinks and snacks for us along the way and the personal tour is the way to go. We saw what we wanted to and got her full attention!

    As I was told, this a new tour in Torshavn, and I love tours like this. What better way to get to know the locals and the social aspect of any culture than a little drink tour? And this one was fantastic! Drinks were delicious, the bars are very cool, and the guides were so friendly and we had some great talks on seemingly every topic. I’m glad I went the night I arrived, what an easy, pleasant, and fun way to introduce yourself to the capital city? I HIGHLY recommend it.

    I had a fun time joining the cocktail tour in Tórshavn. They took me around four bars with different styles and crowds to try various cocktails that are unique to Faroe Islands. It was fun chatting with them and learning about life in Faroe Islands, from the history of alcohol distribution to the dating culture. I was traveling alone so it was especially an awesome way for me to experience nightlife in Tórshavn!

    It was really nice!
    Even though my wife and I were really tired (we had our tour delayed due to a problem with the bus and arrived after 8pm at the hotel) and almost quit on going on the cocktail tour, the lady (Birita) kindly waited for us at 9pm.
    It was a very nice experience, the chat was really good and we enjoyed it.
    I will definitely recommend it.

    It turned out to be just Martin and me. We had a great time, I would say. I asked Martin many questions about the Faroes, and he answered them. We even went for some pizza and the end and ran into people he knows, so I got to hang out with the locals. Sweet!

    We had 4 nights in really shitty weather and were not quite sure what to do. Decided to book this tour and me and my wife had a great time. The cocktails were not the main thing but in the tour we got a chance to talk to a local about pretty much everything and ask away about whatever. Ditte was really nice and very open about everything regarding the Faroe Islands and the people. We had a good time and was a really pleasant evening.

    I was so impressed with my guide’s knowledge and experience of the area. She was attentive and made sure she was aware of my skill level so she could appropriately tailor the experience. It was also easy to contact her the day before the tour when the weather looked like it might change quickly. The weather was windy and rainy but this didn’t take away from the tour at all! In fact it only added to the experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

    I did this tour on my last day in the country. I was really pleased about that as Vágar has some of the most iconic sights in the Faroes. This tour was with professional photographer, Ditte. She was great company on the trip with lots of information to share and knew the best spots to go to. Gásadalur was as remarkable to see as the pictures promised. A short visit to Bøur was followed by the hike to Trælanípa and the onward walk to the top of Slave Cliff. It was a great day out and a really fitting end to my stay on Faroes thanks to the efforts of Ditte.

    I came all the way from Brazil to visit the North for a few weeks – I had 12 days in Iceland, 4 days in Greenland, and only 1 day in the Faroe Islands, in which I chose to take the Photography Tour with Ditte, and I can say very happily – this was the BEST day of my entire trip! We had perfectly sunny weather, visited the most beautiful places I have ever seen and I had a perfect day overall. Ditte was a blessing – she took me to the best places, where most tourists ignore, showed me the best angles for the pictures, told me so many interesting facts about the Faroe Islands culture and history, and even took amazing pictures of me using her own camera! We had really great conversations during the hikes, she is an amazing person, and I’m really happy I got to meet her. In Gasádalur, we even visited a local house, played with dogs and chickens, and she stopped in many places on the way for me to get great pictures. But Ditte also made sure that I got enough time to just enjoy the moment and the scenery, without cameras to distract me – those are some of my precious memories of the trip! Oh and I definitely should add that she was absolutely concerned with my safety above everything, always pointing out which places she felt weren’t very safe to stand or sit down – something that, as a tourist, I couldn’t know, so I value it a lot. Takk fyrir for a perfect day! And I really recommend this tour to everyone, even if you have just one day in the Islands (you should really stay longer, though!)

She’s a photographer and showed us really great places such as Sørvágsvatn and the waterfall in Gasadalur. She told us interesting facts and myths about the area.     One of the highlights of my Europe solo trip was visiting the Faroe Islands. I was very keen on doing a guided tour and found this tour to be very interesting. On the day of the tour I found that I was the only person that had signed up and thought that this would be cancelled, but it wasn’t. Ditte, the guide, picked me up at my hostel in Vagar. We started out in the afternoon and the weather was not the most pleasant. It was drizzling and super cloudy. But as we started hiking towards Trælanípan, it completely cleared and we had the perfect weather – clear blue skies, sun and great natural lighting! One of the added benefits for me was to get my photo clicked from a pro photographer which rarely happens for a solo traveller! haha. I got to see some of the most stunning locations in Faroe Islands, thanks to Ditte. She is an amazing person and I am very glad to have made a friend. I highly recommend this tour with Ditte 🙂

Our tour to Traelanipa and Gasadalur was great, even though at times we had really bad weather. She was always kind and helpful and it was a pleasure having her as my guide.

But it was so much more than that: photography, car tour, sightseeing, hiking, and tea time, all wrapped up into one amazing day under the guidance of Ditte, the tour guide.     I did the 4 day photography tour and i had an amazing time.The tour is in small numbers 1-3 people and that was perfect for me,because it was alot more personal.Every day started around 10 am and ended at 17-18 pm.Our tour guide Ditte has great knowledge of the faroe islands and knows all the amazing locations.What i loved most was that when i noticed something beautiful on the side of the road,she always stopped the car(as long as it’s safe to do so) and that was amazing,because the most beautiful things in the faroe islands are stuff you see when driving.The itinerary is also flexible.There were some locations i wanted to visit,which were not part of the itinerary and we still went to see them.So i recommend this tour not only to photographers,but also to everyone,who wants a more personal guided tour.
