Had a great time. Would recommend to anyone.

Great trip in not so great weather! We enjoyed having the waterproof suits which kept us dry and comfortable. It was nice to get out on the water and see the Faroes from that perspective.

A great trip. The currents were too strong to go further north so instead our guide took us on an equally stunning route, showing us various caves, islands, harbours and villages along the way. The perspective gained from the water is a unique one.
A fantastic experience and would recommend to anybody!

We have mixed feelings about this tour.

There were clear instructions sent by email re the meeting point. Once there you were kitted out with a good quality warm and waterproof jumpsuit (which was welcome as we were not aware in advance we would be provided with this). We were also handed a life jacket, although there were no instructions provided on correct donning (wasn’t so simple for a non boat person, others were struggling to don them as well). Similarly there was no info provided on the likely conditions, plan for the trip itself etc.

The trip was cancelled midway due to the conditions but literally nothing was said until we returned to the dock after the 40-45 mins boat ride. There was no offer to explore other, more protected areas as was mentioned in a previous review in 2023, or possible rescheduling.

We totally accept that the captain makes the call on people and boat safety depending on the conditions at the time. But 15 mins of getting ready, 45 mins of boat ride and no information does not match the ‘thrilling 1.5 hour kalsoy rib boat tour’ blurb mentioned on the Guide to the Faroes booking page…. Disappointed…

Fantastic boat tour with amazing views. You feel very small when you see these massive cliffs from below.
    Thanks to the captain.

Very little instruction other than to put on waterproof suits. Went out on choppy waters at high enough speed to make you concerned for you own safety – something that may have been allayed if trust had been built with our captain through some dialogue other than: ‘Have you paid?’ – ‘Er, yes’. Trip was cut short due to poor weather, something which should’ve been obvious to a maritime professional, it wasn’t like conditions took a sudden turn for the worse. No explanation given or mention of compensation for the diminished experience. May be okay on other occasions but wouldn’t bother with this tour if you don’t want the risk.

We went on this tour in August 2021, and it was a fantastic experience.
We were in safe hands with the crew, and they told amazing stories during the trip. We enjoyed the wildlife and the raw nature – And not least we enjoyed the speed, when Andreas released the horsepowers of the engines.
We can highly recommend this tour for others who loves speed and the nature of the Faroe Islands

It was a lot of fun, thanks! I thought to myself afterwards that the description did not do it justice- we saw and did much more than I was expecting- a very cool surprise.

The trip was amazing!! It’s definitely worthy to try! The feeling was great when you see all different kind of birds around you and the view was outstanding.

Great RIB-boat tour in the north of the Faroe Islands. I recommend trying to do the tour when the sun is shining or at least with no low-hanging clouds, so that you can also enjoy sightseeing during the tour. The two brothers who run the tour are very friendly. One small improvement could be the volume at which the explanations are given of the sights seen along the way. It was very difficult to hear what the captain was saying. Other than that small thing, it was great and highly recommended!
