Welcome to Faroe Islands

This 3 Day trip was just the right fit! I traveled at the very beginning of tourist season, which meant the group was very small and we were able to easily get from place to place without crowds. It was great to hit the hot spots without having crowded hiking trails or scenic views. I loved that this trip enabled me to see many of the major sites across several of the islands. The weather even cooperated (mostly)! Being able to get picked up and dropped off at my hotel each day made it easy to do a little exploring in Torshavn on my own and the guides did a great job keeping to the scheduled times, which made it easy for me to make dinner reservations (which are a must at most restaurants). Anita and Tomas did a great job leading each day! One call out: If you're vegetarian/vegan, please be sure to tell them in advance. The Faroe Islands are meat-centric but the guides can make accommodations for the included lunch if you notify them first. This wasn't the case with me, but someone else on my tour, so I felt it worth mentioning.

Excellent tour and tourguide is Ditte. One of the best tours I did from the capital city. She is really a good photographer too. The whole trip from beginning till the end was amazing. We had all the time, no rush. If I am gonna a tour again I definitely choose for and of her photography tours. This tour is also for not so experience people (like me), you don't have to be a professional. Also it's like you have been a day out with a local and therefore you know much more about the Faroese people in general. Thanks for everything Ditte ;)

Jens took us on a fascinating walking tour of Tourshaven during our stay in the Faroes wonderful capital. This was our third visit to the Faroes and whilst we had been round the capital before and visited the old town, Jens really brought the town to life and gave us insights into life in the Faroes that we would never have seen otherwise. It was a wonderful insight into what makes these islands so very special. We can’t wait to come back!
