Getting out on the water is a must if you want to experience the Faroes. Captain Flosi put us on top of a cod bank and we caught over a dozen decent sized fish and more than we needed for dinner. No haddock which was a bit of a disappointment but that’s fishing. The boat was very nice although it might get tight with more than a couple of anglers on board. Not an inexpensive outing but everything costs a lot here. I’d recommend the trip if you’re into fishing. It was a good way to see the harbor without being crowded on a tour boat.

Faroe Islands was a fantastic experience.
The car was perfect thank you and it couldn't have been easier to pick up or drop off at Vágar Airport.

I highly recommend this tour for your trip to the Faroe Islands! I took this tour recently, and Elsa was incredibly knowledgeable and shared plenty of fun facts along the drive. While the weather was a bit cold and rainy on the day I booked my tour, I still had tons of fun. Elsa makes plenty of stops along the way and will even alter the tour slightly to fit the sights and information you find interesting. The drive is incredibly scenic, and I was able to see so much in just a day. Else is a true local, so you can bet she also had some great recommendations for food and other sights for the rest of your trip!

I made this trip with Niklas on May 9, didn’t expect much, just initially wanted to spend somehow my free time but the result finally was far above my expectations. Nikolas knows the sea very good, he has changed several positions and finally we found the right place. In spite the fact that the weather conditions were bad for fishing he tried to do his best and in 3 hours i caught around 15 big size fishes. I was very happy. The boat is well maintained and the trip was very well organized. Last but not least it wasn’t overpriced. Highly recommended!

We were 8 friends from Iceland who went on a sightseeing tour. Elsa Maria was an excellent guide; she told us many interesting and informative things about the Faroe Islands and showed us most of the Faroes’ hidden gems. The day was very memorable and enjoyable in every way, and it is very easy to recommend this tour

Highly recommended tour with a perfect tour guide. Irdi answered all my questions on Faroese history and daily life, she told me a lot of interesting details that you cannot find on the usual travel guides. The wheather was brilliant, so I was able to take a lot of photos, there was no rush from Irdi's side (thanks for the patience!). Within the 4 hours, you will see some remarkable places of the Northern Islands, but of course not every single famous spot (they offer longer tours for these ones). My conclusion: Good value for money. Starting in Klaksvík is not a problem, if you stay in Torshavn, the meeting point in Klaksvík is right at the bus stop and start/end point of the tour go with the bus schedule.

A wonderful tour of the Faroe Islands with my host and guide, Elsa Maria. She was an excellent host, who was truly knowledgeable about the places we visited, and the history of the Islands. She added a good sense of humour to the tour (“including a tongue in cheek” test on how good a student I was… 1973)! Ten out of ten for the tour and I would defiantly recommend this tour to visitors to the Islands.

Elsa Maria was entertaining, helpful and energetic. She brought us to spectacular sights around the Faroe Islands. She also provided coffee and tea and snacks along the way which was really appreciated.

The group tour turned out to be a private tour as I was the only participant, which i could called it a bonus i guess and it’s good that they would go ahead even there’s only 1 person for the day. The tour guide has tried his best to make the best use of the time in the tour, he has shown me a few more spots outside of the itinerary which were more local than touristy. Lunch was included which was a nice perk. The only down side was that they did not pick up at my door like other tours did, i had to go to a meet up point instead for the pick up.

Elsa is a wonderful guide and she is so passionate being a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable about her home. She didn’t care about the time and just wanted us to be able to enjoy every single spot. She is also funny and good at breaking the silence. She used to be a teacher and took care of us like her pupals, prepared coffee/tea and biscuits for us, it felt like a happy school trip!

Outstanding tour which gives you the opportunity to see so many scenic spots around the islands (I feel like I have been to every postcard from the Faroe), but also delve into the history of the islands, their traditions as well as their current state. And you will get the most amazing pictures of these places but also of you thanks to the wonderful guide Elsa Maria.

We went on this tour on May 6th
We saw all 4 seasons on the 1 boat tour. Sun Shine and warmth, Rain, Snow …. Mind blowing. I was able to capture some great photos of the Drangarnir Sea Arch when it was sunny and then when it started to snow I was so excited I went back to photograph it in different conditions. One of the guides name was Eli and he was so kind and friendly. Shared a lot of history of the things around us as well as every day life in the Faroe’s. He took great care of us while on the island hiking.
