Welcome to Faroe Islands

Really nice weather and view during the tour! The driver and local guide is also friendly and nice. We enjoyed the tour. But if you would like to take your time to visit Faroe Islands, it might not be the perfect choice. However, it is a good choice for non-driver visitors.

This was an incredible 8+ hour adventure around several of the Faroe Islands. We got to see so many different and interesting sights, landmarks, landscapes, and tunnels. Elsa really packed in a lot during the day and she was a great narrator with a sense of humor throughout. We appreciated all her stories, saw a lot, and learned a lot. Amazing how much we got to see. Thank you so much Elsa!

Amazing tour to see the highlights of the Faroe Islands. Jens Peter was extremely knowledgable and offered lots of insights into the people and the history of the Island. We also stopped and had a delicious lunch at a beautiful restaurant. Was a great way to see lots of sights all in one day. Would highly recommend!!

A great day with good time for taking in the atmosphere and nature on Mykines. The boattrip to and from the island is a good chance for seeing the islands from the see. The captain makes shure that the boat passes the most interesting places en route. Arrive early for a good seat on deck. And remember to put on clothes suitable for the wether.
You will be taken good care of by the people. This is where you have a welcome-snack/coffee. and a introduction to Mykines. The place is only open for your group. You can leave some of your stuff there before hiking, wich is very convenient. The guide is very knowledgeable, but still let you enjoy the hike without constantly adding information. At the end of the hike you will be served a splendid fishsoup at Mykinesstova. Oh - the puffins....they are so adoreable. You could stand there for hours just watching them as they watch you, or dive into the abyss for fresh fish.
When ordering the tour I found it a bit pricey. But coming back from the tour I must admit that it wasnt. You get the two ferry trips to and from the island + a great guide and hike + welcome coffee/snack + a full soup meal and coffee after the hike. Altogether a full day out for a fair price. I really enjoyed this tour and the breathtaking views that our guide, Peter, took us to see. Peter is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and he shared many fascinating facts about the Faroe Islands throughout the trip. This was truly an unforgettable experience that I will always cherish. I highly recommend this tour - you definitely won’t regret it!

Easy to book!
The boatride to Mykines included a pass by the Mulafossur, a beautiful rock formation and Drangarnir on the way back! Nice surprise 😍

Fantastic trip, can highly recommend the tour. Amazing views and and an excellent guide. Views of waterfalls, cliffs and seabirds and of course the sea arches. Great fun and amazing views

The guides was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience feel very personal and enjoyable.
We saw some truly breathtaking views, and everything was perfectly organized down to the smallest detail.

Helt fantastisk oplevelse. Vi havde booket en tur kl 10, men Michael kontaktede os og foreslog at vi flyttede den til om aftenen, hvor vinden ville have lagt sig, hvilket han selvfølgelig havde ret i. Det blev en magisk tur og vi kan varmt anbefale den og Michael. Huske vandresko da gå turen ved vandfaldet og op til udkigspunkterne bliver nemmere når man står godt fast.

Booking was easy and corresponding with the tour personnel was prompt and efficient.

The 3 day tour was a quick overview of the Faore Islands. The scenary was fantastic, but one must be prepared to hike to be rewarded with the incredible views of the waterfalls, bird cliffs and villages.

The guides were also friendly and looked after the guests safety.

The lunch for the 2nd day tour was delicious and warm. We enjoyed the restaurant which was beautifully decorated by the fjord. Fish soup was well flavored. As far the other 2 days, vegetarian sandwiches were provided. Wished there were meat options.

Highly recommend the tour if you do not wish to explore the islands on your own. You will be in a small group of max 7-8.

Very pleased and satisfied with our experience in the Faroe Islands and with Guide to Faroes services. Everything was delivered as promised and was seamless; we just had to focus on the wonderful scenery and the wisdom and friendship of the terrific guides.
My only suggestion is to provide a bit more information (perhaps the night before) on logistics for daily pickup; at times the guides were running late or there was confusion on the actual pick up time. A minor issue, but easily resolved.

We had such great time with Jens Peter, who told us not only showed us some breathtakingly beautiful sights but also shared stories form his childhood and life on Faroe Islands. There was an excellent lunch and really great interactions between all of us taking the tour. Jens Peter was really accommodating as well, leaving me and my friend at the bus stop and even following up with the text message to check if we got the bus. Absolutely recommend the tour: you will enjoy the ride! And stories. Ljiljana

Wonderful paddle in a gorgeous location with an experienced and friendly guide. Some paddling experience is helpful but not necessary. Sigurd supplied dry suits and all the gear we needed and the boats were excellent. Thanks for a lovely trip!

Very nice boattrip to Mykines and a lot of puffins, really close. On our tour the weather was as good it could be. Our guide was from the island and very informativ, and instructive. I recommend this trip.
