Welcome to Faroe Islands

Wow! Such a fun way to explore the Faroe Islands. We arrived by cruise ship on June 17 and our time in port did not exactly line up with the E-Bike tour. I booked 6 months in advance and the company was amazing about answering all of my questions and concerns for our group of 5 adults. Rogvi was a delightful guide! The weather was rainy when he met us in port to drive us over to Torshavn to begin our bike adventure. The weather cleared up and he was able to show us his beautiful island home. He shared so much history about the island and the beauty spoke for itself. The husbands and 26 year old did great on the bikes while the two ladies struggled a bit and shared a lot of laughs!!! It truly was one of our favorite days on our two week cruise and we would love to visit again. We didn’t encounter any other groups of tourist on our adventure on Torshavn and even got to travel on the undersea traffic roundabout! That’ was a bonus! We highly recommend a tour with Rogvi - it’s a unique and personable experience!

Great tour! Anita was very good, and showed us the best spots for photos. I'm a terrible photographer and my pictures still look amazing. If you love nature (and why are you coming to the Faroe Islands if you don't?) you'll love this tour.

If you have come to the Faroe Islands, you have to do the Northern Islands tour. You will get a different view. The region full of history, dramatic views, and untrammeled nature, and yet the tour is never rushed. My tour guide was Elsa and she is amazingly knowledgeable. We got to see historic ruins, houses, animals and the most beautiful northern village. I felt like she gave me a real introduction to not just the postcard version of the Faroe Islands, but to the country.

If you want to visit the Faroe Islands but don't have the time or means to rent a car, this is an excellent tour that will give you a view of the northern islands. It was pouring rain for part of our tour, but we still managed to see loads of beautiful sights and our guide was really strategic about working around the weather. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Hugin, made this a great and memorable experience. He took our climbing levels into consideration and brought us to some challenging but fun locations. He was communicative, punctual, and passionate about exploring the islands for new locations. It was a beautiful day and we highly recommend booking this tour if you are interested in seeing what the rocks of the Faroes have to offer.

Spectacular site and very kind crew. The tour offers time to enjoy the site though the boating part could have been a little longer. The price, well over similar tours in Europe, would justify some geological and nature comments.

This was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish.
Our guide, Jens Petur, was exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the Faroe Islands. His storytelling brought each location to life, adding depth and context that made the landscapes even more memorable. I came away not just having seen beautiful places, but truly understanding something about the culture, history, and character of the islands.
The group size was ideal, just 9 people, which made the experience feel personal, relaxed, and easy to engage with both the guide and the surroundings.
The places we visited were genuinely breathtaking, with dramatic scenery that felt almost unreal at times. Every stop offered something different, and the whole day was well paced and thoughtfully organized.
This tour is especially valuable if you’re short on time in the Faroe Islands or don’t have access to your own transport. It takes the stress out of planning while still delivering a rich and immersive experience.
Overall, it was a flawless day out and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Faroes.

Unfortunately the tour was cancelled twice due to weather reasons. Tummas proposed a plan B to the "puffin colony" of Nólsoy Island which we have accepted. If you want to do hiking in this island with a guide, you are highly recommended to do so with the stunning views of the mountains. But if your main purpose is to see puffins, you may be disappointed. We can only see tiny black spots far far down on the water. Perhaps it is due to luck. But if we have the chance to go to Faroe Islands the second time, we will only stick to Mykines for the puffin experience.

Rather disappointingly our start was delayed by 2 hours but we were given no email warning so we rushed over from Torshavn only to be told that we needed to wait.
Then, perhaps because of this, we were far too big a group size so it felt like a school outing and lost a lot of its special peaceful nature
But the guides were charming (although we didn’t hear all that was said due to too many people)

I'm from Taiwan, and my wife and I recently participated in the Outstanding 7 Hour "See It All" Faroe Islands Tour. The sights were absolutely beautiful, and on the way back, they even took us to two more attractions – a nice bonus! I highly recommend it.

Elsa Maria was an excellent guide. Next time I go to the Faroe Islands, I'll definitely sign up for her day trips around the Faroe Islands.
