Welcome to Faroe Islands

When we arrived at the port and saw everyone departing the boat (returning from a trip to Mykines), we were initially worried that the excursion would be crowded. Upon boarding, we found out that we were the only ones on this tour, and had a spectacular time beyond our expectations. You see all the major sights along Sørvágsfjørður, which of course includes Drangarnir. The captain and his assistant provided great information along the way. We highly recommend this tour.

A spectacular tour which we highly recommend. The hike, along with our guide's stories and insights into life on Kalsoy, were spectacular. The lighthouse and cliffside views are breathtaking. We had initially considered trying to tour Kalsoy on our own, but after (thankfully) deciding to do this tour instead, I would not even consider attempting it on your own given the tunnels, hiking trail, and access to the guide's information. We highly recommend this tour.

This was our favorite experience during our trip to the Faroes. Do not hesitate booking it. From the ferry ride to/from the island past Drangarnir and Mulafossur (which felt worth the excursion alone), to Katrin's wonderful hospitality and food (the fish soup is unbelievable), we could not have been happier with the tour. You get to see most of the island on the hike, meet some of the residents, and of course see the puffins; we even got to help release a puffling back to the ocean. We brought 2 children (one hiking by herself and the other riding in a carrier), and although there are some moments of vigilance needed along the soaring cliff edges, Katrin made the experience enjoyable for the whole family. We highly recommend this excursion.

A solid highlight of the trip

Fantastic experience. Yes it rained heavily to start off with but it cleared up just as we reached the cliffs which were absolutely stunning. We loved going through the narrow passageways, getting close up to waterfalls and going under archways. This trip was one of the highlights of our holiday to the Faroe Islands.
