You will be picked up in the morning at your accommodation in Tórshavn (including the suburbs Argir and Hoyvík) on Streymoy Island. Just let the tour guide know where you are staying once you book the tour.
Now, you will hit the road and head straight to Eysturoy Island. Your tour guide will take you along windswept mountains and all the way to the natural gorge in Gjógv, where you can enjoy the crashing waves. The peaceful village Gjógv is waiting for you to be discovered.
Now, you will head to the tranquil hideaway Saksun. This lovely little village is tucked away in lush grass on the westside of Streymoy island. The village faces an incredible view of a hidden tidal lagoon.
You will now glide silently along the well-kept roads in the Faroe Islands and stop by the captivating Fossá Waterfall. Enjoy the power of nature for a while as you stand next to the crashing water beside this waterfall that drops in two levels.
After this experience, you will head to the remote settlement Tjørnuvík nestled in unmatched natural beauty. Travellers say this hidden valley feels like reclaiming nature.
There will be a stop at a restaurant for lunch. You can buy yourself something at the restaurant (no restaurant visit on Tuesdays).
Now you will get to the famed Vágar Island. Drive along the breathtakingly beautiful shoreline to the turf-roofed village Bøur. The view that you will encounter is otherworldly. You will have a great view of Tindhólmur islet and the famous sea arch Drangarnir.
Your final stop is the spectacular natural wonder in the small village Gásadalur. Here you will experience Múlafossur waterfall perched on the very edge and from where it plunges into the ocean. The scenery is so naturally and is the perfect place to recharge in nature.

Seriously, TAKE THIS TOUR! We had Peter as our guide and we absolutely loved the way he mixed humor and history together to really give us a deeper insight into the way of life in Føroyar. Of the nearly 600 reviews, this tour has a perfect 5 out of 5 score! There’s a reason for this. The tour is EXCELLENT! An absolute MUST DO! Our guide Elsa-Marie took us to all the must see places. She showed us waterfall after waterfall, stopped for us to mingle with the sheep and the geese, and kept us entertained with stories of the islands, the traditions, and the people who live here. (Including personal anecdotes from her own family who has been here since the 1400s!) I had an injured leg and she made sure I was still able to see everything. She knew my daughter wanted to pet some sheep, so she went out of her way to bring us to a small farm where she could feed them. Not to mention she came with coffee, tea, flat and sparkling water, and a plethora of snacks. This was the highlight of our week in the Faroe Islands. Thank you so much Elsa-Marie!

What a fun, informational , amazing, WOW day with Elsa Maria. The tour was wonderfully paced. Elsa Maria’s passion, knowledge and love for her beautiful part of the world shined through. She even went so far as to make the weather shine.
The many snack treats were unexpected and delightful. The lunch stop offered many good choices to select from.
We discussed what I and other visitors cause, that well known dilemma. How much tourism is too much. I hope the Faroe Islands can keep it from taking away the beauty of the Islands and the friendliness of the people.

Undervejs stoppede vi bl.a. ved en utroligt hyggelig lille café, hvor vi fik en meget lækker frokost. Vi havde oprindeligt booket en anden tur, men da den ikke kunne lade sig gøre alligevel, kom vi hurtigt med på denne tur i stedet uden problemer, hvilket vi var meget taknemmelige for, og vi følte på ingen måde, at vi gik glip af noget.
Alt i alt en rigtig dejlig tur med god stemning, hvor man kommer godt rundt på Færøerne på en enkelt dag.
