Hvalba is a spacious settlement on Suðuroy Island in the remote Faroe Islands. The settlement is nestled in a flat area in the northern part of the southernmost isle in the Nordic island group.

There is a sand beach in the settlement as well as green fields used for sheep farming. Hvalba is nestled between mountains and with a undisturbed view of the uninhabited island Lítla Dímun. The settlement is connected to Tvøroyri, the main town on Suðuroy island, by a two-lane mountain tunnel. Sandvík lies north of Hvalba and the small hamlet is linked to Hvalba by another tunnel.
