Langasandur is a small hamlet on the east side of Streymoy Island in the mountainous Faroe Islands. The settlement consists of just more than a handful of houses nestled along the seaside.

The most famous attraction near Langasandur is the Fossá Waterfall, which is the tallest in the Faroe Islands. Langasandur translates directly to “the Long Beach”.

This place sits in the Sundini strait that separate Streymoy Island from nearby Eysturoy Island. These two islands are linked together just minutes away from the cluster of houses in the settle. A concrete bridge connects the two islands here.
