Gundadalur is the main sports area in the outstanding Faroe Islands. Located in the capital, Tórshavn, this is where many local sport events takes place and international events alike.

It takes only 15 minutes to walk from the harbour in Tórshavn to Gundadalur. The ferry Norrøna links the Faroe Islands to both Iceland and Denmark by sea. Arriving at the harbour in Tórshavn on Streymoy Island and from there getting to the sports area is quick and easy.

When at the only airport in the archipelago located on Vágar Island, you are a 45 minutes drive from Gundadalur. There are good parking options all around the sports area.

The national football stadium has a capacity of 6000 people. All matches by the National Football Team in the Faroe Islands are played on artificial grass.
