This was one of our favorite hiking experiences in the Faroes. The guide was a local teacher (and her brother and their border collie went along to help since there was a large group). The guide couldn't have been better. she was very helpful in some of the areas near the shear dropoffs. We had to cancel the tour in the am because of the heavy rain, but the guide agreed to reschedule the hike the same day at 3pm because there was so many of us (some having been cancelled a day or two before). At 3pm the weather was decent so we got to go. It was very beautiful and we were so happy we went back.

We really enjoyed the hike to the lighthouse. It was a beautiful day for the Faroes. It was nice to see the Seal Woman statue and hear the story behind it. The guide was very engaging. There was a 200m stretch where there was some pretty deep mud that was more treacherous and we are older, but the guide really helped us out to make sure we did ok. The rest of the hike was a breeze (some hills, but very doable). My wife is scared of heights, and she was worried about the hike. The hike to the lighthouse and James Bond "gravestone" are fine in terms of acrophobia. It's only if you decide go take one of the two optional trails that go to the end of the 2 points, where there is a shear dropoff on both sides of the trail, where there are issues with being concerned about heights/acrophobia. We had perfectly awesome views from the lighthouse and other areas.

A very nice trip to see the arches. The guides were very helpful with us navigating some of the slippery rocks so we could get good views of the seastacks.

This was the Faroes i dreamed of and hoped to see. Our guide was amazing. She expertly got us out in front of other tour groups which maximized our puffin time without any other people around. Really a genuinely good human being as a tour guide, she made the experience personal and special. The ferry ride to Mykines can be a bit dicey for those who dont like boats / rough seas, but so very worth it. Absolutely book this tour first and foremost. thank you!

Elsa Maria was a fantastic guide. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and not afraid to share lots of interesting color. It’s a quirky presentation that looking back made a long day with A LOT of stops really memorable. She was great about being flexible and changing things up on the fly when the clouds / fog made certain sites unviewable and coming back to them out of order. Really allowed us to catch everything. She tag teamed with her brother which added another great dimension to the tour and prepared special treats for everyone. This was a phenomenal way to get to see the heart of the Faroes. Thank you!
