Welcome to Faroe Islands

I had such a fabulous time on this tour yesterday. Elsa Maria is a wonderful guide, offering a well-thought-out itinerary that seemed to chase the best views and light for photographers. And I learned so much about the Faroe Islands - it’s history and culture. We were lucky with the weather for this time of year, with just the occasional light rain shower, and still got to experience everything from snow to brilliant sunshine . I highly recommend this tour.

got the pleasure of doing a Torshavn walking tour with Jens on September 27, 2025. I want to say that it was indeed wonderful. We got to talk about the city, the history of the city and the country as a whole while also learning so much about the culture and the food. He was very engaging and very informative. I truly enjoyed that tour and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I enjoyed the outstanding tour with Elsa Marie on the first day of our visit to the Faroes. The See It All tour took us to several top sites, and drove us over several islands and through several tunnels. It was an easy way to really see the beautiful geography of the islands. And I can’t say enough good things about Elsa Marie. She was informative and taught us a lot about the history and culture of the Faroes, peppered with some personal insights from growing up and seeing the islands change. She was attentive, put is at ease, and has a gentle and witty sense of humor. Lunch was wonderful.

Perfect Way to See the Faroe Islands!

We booked the 7-day self-drive package (plus an extra night) and it was truly one of the best travel decisions we’ve made. We stayed at Hotel Føroyar, which was wonderful; we even got an unexpected upgrade to a suite on arrival.

The manual transmission car we booked was supposed to be a Mazda but ended up being a Nissan — totally fine for us, since anything manual was perfect. The package also included the two main undersea tunnels, which are the key ones you’ll need to explore the islands.

Honestly, this was a great deal. I tried pricing everything out on my own, and I couldn’t even come close to the package price. The itinerary they provided was excellent; we adjusted it a bit based on the weather and added a few extra hikes using AllTrails, but all the main highlights were already included.

Communication was fast and friendly the whole way through. We always got quick responses to questions, and they even followed up to thank us and mention that they’d read our reviews of the individual excursions after our trip.

If you plan to rent a car, I highly recommend booking this package. We had such an amazing time exploring Vágar, Streymoy, Eysturoy, Kalsoy, and Borðoy — every island was unforgettable!

An absolute amazing time! Well organized , with exceptionally cordial staff; Hogni, Sveinur et al. Let the Faroe Islands reveal themselves to you. An unfathomable beauty in so many ways that captivates the soul, if you take the time… and let it. Truly a magical place on earth!
