Elsa and Jens are the absolute best tour guides in the Faroes! Not only did we see so many beautiful sites, but we were told so many stories about this beautiful country. They are so informative and extremely proud of being Faroese and it comes through in this experience. We felt extremely welcome the entire time and especially enjoyed the break where we got amazing coffee and a shot of aquavit! More than being in great hands, what made this experience the best was by the time we had to say goodbye, my wife and I felt sad that we were leaving these amazing people. By the end of 8 hours, it felt like we were a part of their family and that says so much about how genuine and lovely Elsa and Jens are. 10/10 would do it again and again!!

I WANT A PARTIAL REFUND FOR THE TIME WE MISSED DURING THE EXCURSION. I HAVE PHOTOS TO BACK THIS UP.
I paid for a two-hour experience, including the hike and the guided boat tour.
There was no guide on-site to show us around. There was only someone telling us where to walk and what time we needed to be back.
The activity was scheduled for 11:00 AM. The first boat arrived around 11:25–11:30 AM, and people boarded it. A second boat arrived around 11:45 AM, so I took that one.
We set off for the rock formation—it was magnificent.
Upon arrival, the "guide"—who was nothing like the guide you expect when booking such a tour—told us we had to be back by 1:00 PM.
In the end, I only had an hour and fifteen minutes to explore, even though I had paid for two hours.
No one at the reception desk stepped in to explain that there was a delay or to let us know we could stay longer to make up for it. Nothing.
It was beautiful, yes—but tourists pay for this excursion, and we have a right to get what we paid for. I want further explanation and a refund for the 45 minutes I missed out on.
I have photos documenting the boat's arrival and departure times.
For such a high price, I have the right to my full two hours.
I am not the type of person who usually complains, but in this instance, it was truly disappointing to have so little time.

Our guide was very pleasant and shared wonderful insights into the city and local culture. Unfortunately, the food tour itself was quite a disappointment and did not meet our expectations for a local culinary experience. While it started well with delicious homemade dry-fermented lamb on bread, the rest of the stops felt mismatched—featuring sweet scones, chocolate, ice cream, and smoked salmon. We had hoped for a more authentic showcase of traditional local flavours. The tour concluded with some local beer.

Great tour to Dunnesdrangar!
The guide was very nice, helpful and informative. For the mixed group (young & old) there were enough small breaks. At the viewpoint you have plenty of time for photos without any time pressure. €60 is totally fine for the Faroes and you support the locals - since it's private land, having a guide makes perfect sense. Apparently, if the weather is bad / no visibility, there is even a guarantee to join a second time. A clear must-see & highly recommended!

The Faroes are fantastic, such scenery, such welcoming people. The biggest problem was the lack of detail in the itinerary which meant we had very little idea of what we were going to see. One liners just dont cut it. There were also glaring omissions of historical sites .

Tourist trap. 60 euro is very expensive . Nothing to see along the hike rather than valleys which they are everywhere else without payments. The tourguide are the owner, they do nothing rather than taking you to the view point. I wanted to bring my poles and she told me it is an easy hike and she has one. It is not. There were too much mud and i slipped . There is also a bench to climb over before the view point. I remember reading about it in google reviews but they deleted all the bad reviews. I had a discussion with her about why the hike is mandatory with a tour guide despite everywhere else there is small entry fees. Her claim is because of the weather conditions. A joke cause the weather is inconsistent and you could hike at your own pace if you check the weather in advance. There were a couple who bought tickets but didn't book a guide because they didnt know and she asked them to join us but they were walking slowly on the way back and she left them after the hike. There are many hiking paths without this tourist scam.

This was a wonderful full-day tour and our group of 11 enjoyed every moment of it with our guides Elsa Maria and Jens Peter in two cars.
We did not only see beautiful landscapes, fjords and mountains, but our guides also told a lot of the Faroe people and the everyday life on the Faroe Islands. This was truely a see-it-all tour thanks to our skilled guides with that 'extra' that made the day special.
I can recommend this tour and these guides to everyone visiting the Faroe Islands!

This was an outstanding tour. It was very educational as well as culturally fulfilling. Both David and the farmer and his wife were warm and friendly. The soup and bread were delicious and we enjoyed the experience of sitting around their kitchen table visiting with people from around the world. I would recommend booking this tour. It will be one of the highlights of your trip to the Faroe Islands!

Great experience. Although we needed to change the route due to strong wind and rough sea, the trip was a success.
Nice views and a very skilled "skipper" getting us very close to the cliffs.

Fun activity for a good weather day. Water is calm, easy kayaking, and equipment is in good condition - you help yourself. Took about 1-1.5 hours to paddle around the whole lake. Only issue is the equipment is in a shipping container on the opposite side of the road so you have to carry the heavy kayak about 20 meters across the road and down a steep embankment yourself (which as a solo person was difficult but manageable)

I can’t say enough good things about this tour and my guide, Melissa. Even though I was the only one on the tour, she still took me on this amazing trip. I really enjoyed her company, as well as that of her adorable dog, Minnie. She is incredibly warm and helpful, and even went out of her way to help me with an issue during my trip. It was my privilege to get to know them. There is so much to see in Vágar, and this route is perfectly planned to let you see a great deal without feeling rushed. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a fantastic tour of various attractions, with just the right amount of time to take photos at each stop. The guide was both a skilled driver and excellent at sharing information and answering all our questions along the way. Highly recommended!

I very much enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. Not only it covered a lot of amazing places in one day, but it was smooth and surprisingly peaceful - Johan had everything planned precisely so we could easily avoid crowds. He was also very friendly and gave us a lot of insider information about the islands, history and culture. We had fun, enough time to soak in the atmosphere at all the scenic places and he even made an effort to help us with some advise for the rest of our trips. I am very happy about this choice and would do it again.
