This overlooked place on Eysturoy Island is worth a short visit. Instead of driving on the main road that leads to Eiði further north, you can slow down and take the village road once you have crossed the bridge from Streymoy Island.

That way you will drive between the colourful houses nestled along the shoreline. It will give you the tranquility found next to the waterfront.

Driving through Norðskáli is a good alternative when heading to Eiði and the Risin & Kellingin Sea Stacks found there. You can also view the rock formations off the coast of Eysturoy Island after a hike to Eiðiskollur Cliff.
