Porkeri Travel Guide

Porkeri is a village on Suðuroy Island in the nature-filled Faroe Islands. The village has a small harbour as well as a small wooden church painted black.

This settlement is know for a chain of houses made in the same style. These houses were built by captains sailing with Faroese fishing vessels in the 20th Century.
