At the Tórshavn Bus Terminal you can buy snack and drinks for the journey. There is also an information desk where you can get advice on what bus route to take to get you where you are going.
The passenger ferry to the Faroe Islands M/S Norröna enters the port of Tórshavn. Travellers will step into the bus terminal when they step out of the ferry.
If you take a public bus from Vágar Airport (FAE) to Tórshavn, the bus will terminate at the harbour in Tórshavn at Farstøðin. The bus terminal is a 5 minutes walk from the main square Vaglið in the capital, Tórshavn.
The old grass roofed government buildings Tinganes in the oldest district in the city also lies a 5 minutes walk from the Tórshavn bus terminal. Just beside the bus terminal, you will find the Skansin fort and the lighthouse there.
