Miranda Metheny is an American with a deep passion for the Faroe Islands. She has learned her Faroese and holds a Master's degree from Missouri School of Journalism.
She is a World Language teacher and lives with her husband in Washington, D.C. Ever since her first visit to the Faroe Islands, she feels a powerful connection to the archipelago.
Miranda has been to the Faroe Islands several times. She keeps returning to her host families at her ‘home’ in Gøta and Tórshavn.
